I can always count on exceptional service when it comes to In-N-Out Burger and this particular location is a favorite spot of mine for good reason!! Staff is always super friendly, they work hard to keep the eatery clean, the extra effort that the staff puts out for kids are undeniable, and everyone genuinely seems to enjoy their jobs. In all the times I've dined here, I have never come across any sour faces, hear any huffing and puffing, or experience any kind of negative vibes. If that ain't a win, idk what is. While the menu comes across as being super simple, there are countless ways to have something essentially different each and every time you visit. Switching from a regular burger to protein style or swapping the raw onions for some grilled ones instead. Maybe you're in the mood to spice things up- go ahead and add some chopped peppers. Pick your poison y'all!! Food is made fresh, burgers are customized to your liking and they taste GREAT!!! Let's not get started on the spread- my kid comes here for that alone!! Easily a 5/5 star rating!! This place come highly highly recommended :D

Ordered 2 Flying Dutchman with grilled onions, pickles and a tomato. Got 2 with none and no utensils. I don't usually write reviews but was looking forward to having in n out since I haven't had it in a while. Super bummed out when I got to my destination and opened the box. On top of that I was fasting so I was even more upset.

Great in N out and one of the few located within San Jose. The service is pretty good but not exceptional. The cashier wasn't friendly but you can tell she is somewhat interested in her job. The employee that called out my number and handed the food to me was very friendly and nice. For my food I got a double double with animal style fries. The burger as always is delicious. Everything is well cooked and tasty. Fries were good too. Inside there is plenty of seating with a nice restroom as well. Employees frequently come over to the tables to clean and maintain the dining floor.

One thing I love about In-N-Out is the consistency, no matter what location you go to. You can close your eyes and try a burger and not know what location you got it from. The pricing compared to other burger joints is cheaper too so you get more bang for the buck. I usually go with the protein style and it's always wrapped just right as they don't skimp on the lettuce to wrap the burger. Make sure you eat it quick before the lettuce gets soft. I get it here because I honestly don't know where else to get a protein style burger at a cheap price.

My cheese burger and fries, missing the extra grilled onions I ordered :(

We went through the drive through to grab burgers and fries for the family. The line wasn't too long yet around 11am on the weekend. The girl standing outside who took our order was nice. I always get extra grilled onions on all my food so requested that on my cheese burger and fries, while my companion got a double double animal style, cheese burger, and his own fries. When we got our order and drove home, I was really disappointed to find that my fries didn't have the extra grilled onions that I'd asked for. In addition to that, one of our fry orders was also suuuper light on fries. Usually In-N-Out is very generous loading up and topping off their fry orders, but the quantity we got was like a third of what we usually received and was maybe a third filled not even hitting the brim of the container. We've been to this chain plenty enough times to know what a normal order looks like. My companion guessed maybe they ran out of fries in that batch so just threw what was left in the bag before handing it over, but that seems quite disingenuous of them to do that if they did. Anyway, I hope this location does better not to skimp on the fry quantity and keep it consistent across orders. Also I hope they don't forget my extra grilled onions next time since that's one of my favorite things here.

I've been going to this specific spot in Eastside, San Jose for almost 10 years now and it never disappoints. Everyone is very friendly and they listen to all the wishes and requests for your specific needs regarding your order. In-N-Out is a staple in California and will continue to be so for the foreseeable future!

came here at peak hour so my double double was a little off with an extra slice of cheese or two. service took genuinely like twenty minutes because of drive thru and ambiance was PACKED.

The drive thru line is WAY too long so I recommend ordering inside. Great burger! Tip: You can customize your burger any way you want. I asked for pickles, grilled onions, and chopped chiles. The animal sauce with the burger is pretty good and rich in flavor. The fries are always a hit or miss for me. Sometimes it's too salty but I guess it depends on the day. You can always specify how cooked you want your fries.

In-N-Out never misses! Solid burger spot that always hits the spot. I usually keep it classic, but this time I switched it up with grilled onions, whole grilled onions, and even raw onions--super good no matter how you get them. Fries are always a must for me--go well-done every time for crispy perfection. And of course, Animal Style fries? Straight up bomb. Heads up: this spot gets crowded, especially during peak hours, but the service is always good, so it's worth the wait. Consistent, fresh, and exactly what you want when burger cravings hit.

menu as of 2/2026. great as always. drive thru line is always long in the evening but goes by pretty quickly

I asked for a cheeseburger with EXTRA PICKLES but they gave me chilis when I cannot consume.

They didnt give me the right order after i repeated myself 2 times. They gave me a burger with tomato I didnt want on and nicely asked no tomato. They added chiles on my burger after i corrected them for pickles not chiles. Im not happy with this location at all.

Affordable, yummy, and quick! I love In-N-Out. I'm not a casual fast food person but when I'm craving for something or want a quick fix due to not having time to cook, I always go to in-n-out! I love their double double burger with extra extra grilled onions and extra tomatoes! It is a bit heavier side, with a whopping total of 600-700 calories but it'll keep you full for the rest of the day until your next meal. The service is good, cashiers are friendly. Ambiance can be quite noisy. It's extremely busy at night and seats are always filled while the line goes as long as the door. The drive-through is also pretty long.

This in n out is by far the slowest one of them all by a million miles. It wasn't even that busy and I still waited an hour ‍ so crazy.

This is their current location, but I don't think it's their permanent place of business. Just for the time being. Google maps will take you to a parking lot entrance that's closed, blocked by a chain, so make sure you enter the parking lot on Locust Street. I ordered online, and the wait time was a bit long (20+ minutes) but not terrible. And once you arrive, there's a sign near the parking lot directing you to walk down an alley-like path. No signs at the door, just a dumpster outside. Yup, that's where you pick up. It feels like you're walking through the back door of a restaurant kitchen. Actually when you step inside, it indeed IS the kitchen which doubles as a pickup spot (no seats, no signs, I just showed the guy my order on my phone and he handed me my food packed neatly in a paper bag). I got the perro loco which comes with fries on the side, and an arepa with cheese. I didn't like that customers can't customize items when ordering online for pick up. Also wasn't a fan of the pineapple sauce, though I think that's one of the things they're known for. But the hot dog was still good, generous with the toppings and certainly unique. The sausage was plump and juicy with a mild flavor. The fries were delicious as well, and didn't taste cheap. And the mini arepa with cheese was buttery and had a nice texture. Altogether it made for a filling meal.

The menu is extensive with a mix of options (including a vegetarian burger). I ordered El Apto which came with a beef patty, bacon, shredded chicken, lettuce, tomato...all between a brioche bun. This came with fries and a side of pineapple sauce and apto sauce. I dipped my fries in the apto sauce and it was so good! The pineapple sauce goes well in the burger and also on the fries. The beef patty was perfectly seasoned and so juicy. All the flavors were amazing and tasted so fresh. I loved the crispy bacon and the shredded chicken. The chicken was well flavored and they put an ample amount on top of the burger. Wow! What a great combo. I also tried the maracuya (passion fruit) drink and it was so good! I like that it wasn't too sweet. It's fresh and refreshing. They are pretty busy because it's their opening so there might be a wait but it's totally worth it. The hostess was very friendly and showed us to our table. We had a table inside, which was an intimate upscale casual area with a bar. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms for a starter. It was so hard to pick one because everything on the menu sounds so good. Alas, I have a small appetite. The mushrooms were very tasty and a nice start to our meal. For entrees, we had the halibut and prime filet with a side of broccolini. Everything was cooked perfectly and was delicious. Drinks are on the pricey side- I had a Hero Old Fashioned and the Taylor Made, $20 each. They were nicely crafted, so worth the price. They brought out a Carmel Popcorn Sundae for my husband's birthday and even gave him a birthday card which I thought was a nice touch. Service was slow and steady. We had ample time to enjoy our food without feeling rushed, but never felt like our server forgot about us. We spent about 2 hours for dinner. Probably not a place to go if you're in a hurry. I'm eager to return and try some more of the starters. It's the kind of place I'd love to take out of town guests - high quality fine dining in a casual and relaxed environment.

The restaurant had a nice visual ambience, but also felt casual as there was a lot of chatter, which isn't a bad thing depending on what you're looking for. Our waiter was especially friendly and helped us decide what to order. I really wish I could remember his name, as I'm posting this a bit late, but he was a huge reason why we had a great experience! Here's a quick rating on the food itself: Stuffed mushrooms (3.5/5): This was recommended by the waiter as a favorite among patrons. The mushrooms weren't bad or anything, but for some reason, it gave me combination pizza vibes that I wasn't expecting. It was good, but I wouldn't go out of my way to order it again personally. Bone-in ribeye (5/5): an amazing cut that was cooked perfectly. Exactly what you would expect from a good steakhouse. The compound butter was fantastic! Bone-in apricot glazed pork chop (3.5/5): this one may hit different for different folks. The pork was perfectly cooked and juicy, but the apricot glaze was definitely a little too sweet for our palettes. If you're looking for something more savory, I might try something else. But hey, sweet might be your thing too! Caramel popcorn sundae (4.5/5): we got this one complimentary for being our special day, which was a really nice surprise! And it was a full serving! This one was obviously sweet, but surprisingly more subdued than it sounds, which was really nice! Overall, it was truly a memorable night with great food. And though some things didn't quite work for our palettes, I can totally see that it may for others--so that didn't impact my ratings because they were still good--just not for us. That said, the care that we received on our anniversary was what truly made me land on a 5/5 rating. Definitely coming back for future special occasions!
