We ordered the tomato soup, mac & cheese, and a chicken sandwich, and everything was delicious, fresh, and so comforting. A special shout-out to Ruben, the manager, who was absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcomed. The interior is nice and clean. They have inside and outside seating options. Four kiosks to order from in addition to a cashier. Pager or phone text option. House music playing throughout the restaurant. Two separate single-user men and women's restrooms. The service is friendly and welcoming. On a cold, wet New Year's Eve, we went to the Melt to get burgers and fries so we could close out 2025 with a good old American style dinner. The restaurant was clean and plenty of menus available to help you pick out what to eat. I loved the "You melt my heart away" back drop. There weren't a lot of people, but the cooks in the back were hustling with all the pick-up orders. A sign the food is good. We ordered the Swiss and shroom burger, single and double. This is another location which not only it recently opened here before the one in Palo Alto and Sunnyvale, but also it's now the closest location from where I live. It's in Rivermark Plaza at Santa Clara and looks better than the one in Sunnyvale. It looks really nice inside. It's as if I walked inside a casino. Ordering there in-person is almost impossible because staff is very busy. Good thing that they kiosks allowing them to save time. I don't mind using them tbh. Before I had one of their regular sandwich melts which I believe comes with mac and cheese. I wanted to try one of their burgers and it's gotta be one of the best burgers out there. Its very juicy and patty-to-bun ratio is at the right spot! I also wanted to try one of their snickerdoodle milkshakes and really tastes sweet and delicious. Sometimes I gotta twirl it to get lessen the viscosity of the drink. The Parmesan fries are really good though. I saw a few pieces of garlic and ate them anyways. This is one of the best sandwich spots in the Bay Area and I'm looking forward to trying more stuff! read more

Got the Patty Melt, the cheese combo was not for me, but overall the beef was juicy. Got the regular Fries and Garlic Parmesan Fries. Both were excellent. Also got a mac-n-cheese. I gave this experience a 2 star mostly because of the female (slim with dark long-ish hair) that served the food between 6pm - 8pm. I realized the mac-n-cheese was missing. Went back and said, excuse me I'm missing the mac. She turns around to go to the kitchen and says something to the kitchen staff. I'm watching this unfold through the glass. She aggressively grabs the mac, aggressively places the mac bowl and the fork on the tray, and hands me the tray. No smile. Just a stern "why are you bothering me" look! Just the facial expression and the vibes she was giving off. In my honest opinion. This is a person that does NOT like the job and DEFINETLY should NOT be working in the services industry! I hope the manager/owner of this establishment has a firm talk with the staff about why they even have a job and why customers would return to spend their good hard earned money at this location. Maybe the young female will learn from this and decide whether to stay or work somewhere else with a better attitude! After thinking about this experience what I should had done. I've been here many times and always have a great experience eating here. The staff works here are friendly and helpful. When I had trouble ordering from the kiosk, Liz was very patient and helped me out with my customization. We ordered the Patty Melt, Swiss and Shroom Meltburger and they were both delicious. The garlic fries is the bomb! The regular fries are good and crispy too. The tomato soup is good but a bit too sour to my taste. They have limited selection on their milkshakes and they're good and thick. Overall their food is great. The place is clean overall and they close late. It's great for late night dining when everywhere else is closed. It also has a nice open indoor-outdoor dining environment. There is a garage door that opens up to the outside during a nice day or closes up when it's cold and windy. I'd say they need to improve the software in the kiosk to let us customize certain menu items such as Patty Melt. It's very strange they let you customize burgers but not Patty Melts. read more

They have several self-serve machines and you can still pay at the register. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time considering the number of people. Their Melt Burger was pretty good. Davon helped us with our table and was honestly amazing, so hospitable, kind, and attentive, especially with such a big group. You can tell he really cares about the customers. One thing I enjoyed at this restaurant is the fact that it is open late especially in santa clara you don't really find restaurants that are open late. When we arrived we ordered using the kiosk which was pretty easy and not complicated. The restaurant is decently sized and is very open. I can see this restaurant get busy and full especially on the weekends. We ordered the melt burger with no cheese and the swiss n shroom meltburger. Our burgers were very tasty and were cooked well. The patty was not overcooked and tasted really well. I liked how you can customize your burger completely to your own preference. We ordered the garlic parmesan fries and mac n cheese. This is why I gave 4 stars, neither the sides were good in our opinion. If you're gonna do the mac n cheese don't get the mini mac I couldn't really taste anything and it was definitely just a regular mac n cheese. Stopped in on Monday night with my mom, sister, and husband for a quick dinner. The place is decorated nicely, with local wood cut outs, and retro lighting. We perused the options at the kiosk, and made our selections. Before we sat down, Davon already helped us out with grabbing some napkins and directing us where to get our utensils and drinks from. We ended up ordering three different sandwiches, two different types of fries, and soup. My husband got the bacon burger, I got the regular cheeseburger melt, my sister got the spicy chicken sandwich, and my mom got the tomato soup with the side of fries. We also got the Parmesan garlic fries, and while it may seem silly, the quality of the sodas was really nice. All of the food came out pretty quickly, and was lovely. I will say the jalapeño pickle mix is actually quite spicy, so that with the spicy melt sauce did make mine pretty hot. Davon walked around with some samples of fresh chocolate chip cookies which wraps were delicious, and was super friendly and continued to check in on us throughout the night.
