Update: I went back and I got to try the spicy pork sandwich. Did not disappoint at ALL. I really can't decide if I prefer this or the bulgogi, but I can imagine alternating between the two every week. These sandwiches are really that good. Pro tip: the sandwiches comes sliced in half and if you can restrain yourself and only eat the first half, the second half heats up beautifully in the air fryer. Do not sleep on this place! read more

This place is just awesome. I've come here twice already during my lunch breaks and really enjoyed the sandwiches and small talk with the general manager. So far I've tried their bulgogi and spicy pork sandwiches. It may look simple but the ingredients are good quality and both meats pack a ton of flavor. If I had to choose I would lean more towards the bulgogi but that's just personal preference. I also got an order of musubi to share. The spam was generously thick and so was the glaze, which I appreciate. The rice was warm and fluffy, too. It was difficult however, to eat with your hands so use a fork/knife. Also, the location has a shared lot so there's not a lot of parking space but there's always street parking. There's plenty of tables inside if you decide to dine in, too read more

Found on Yelp looking for hidden gems and we struck gold! Paying it forward to curious yelpers and fellow foodies: GIVE THIS PLACE A TRY!!! Based on the reviews we wanted to try a little bit of everything and loved it all! Spam musubi (BEST-EVER! I'm typically not a fan but this was a game changer! WOW!!!), spicy pork was delicious, bulgolgi sandwich was really good and the bulgolgi bibim wrap was ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!!! The owner was very polite, informative and super attentive! The location was clean, has a few tables & chairs and a simple no-frills but fantastic menu! Had a bite of my husband's spicy pork with rice, 1/2 piece of spam musubi, and 1/2 bulgolgi sandwich and was stuffed!!! Ate 1/2 of the bulgolgi bibim wrap (with the spicy sweet sauce) for dinner and it was so freaking good! We live about 2.5 hours away but are already looking forward to our next visit when we're in the area! Tips: There are 3 small parking spaces inside the front entrance/tiny parking lot (street parking is limited in the industrial park area most are reserved lots), order in advance if you're in a rush (it's a one-man show and we assume it could get pretty decent wait times during lunch rushes), the sandwich is good but the wrap is better! read more

My fiancé and I truly stumbled upon a hidden treasure. Walking into this little corner shop I didn't know what to expect. The owner greeted us and explained the menu to us. He helped us decide what to order and so happy we went with his recommendation. There was seating inside and we sat there to enjoy our food. We ordered a bulgolgi wrap and musubi. Both were so delicious! Such a great ambiance and delicious food, will definitely be back! read more

It's lunch time baby! First time trying it and I was impressed. It's such a "hole in the wall" location, but it's one of those locations where it lives up to the saying, "hole in the wall food places are the best." I mentioned to the person taking my order that it was my first time. He welcomed me in very kindly, explained the menu, and how long I was going to wait even being very busy. You don't get that service just anywhere! I got the bibim wrap and it was HUGE. The taste was spot on. I definitely recommend giving this place a try! read more

I have only had the Bulgogi sandwich here, but oh my god! It was so good! I want to go back and try their breakfast burritos. I was driving through a large warehouse area when the sign for their restaurant caught my eye. There are a couple of hidden gems tucked into this area and the Yelp! reviews were great, so I knew I had to check it out. I called in my order while I was out picking up drawings for work. This was around 1:00 pm, so I think I missed the lunch rush. The man on the phone was nice and ordering was easy. I had found pics of the menu on Yelp! and I ordered the Bulgogi sandwich based on the reviews. When I arrived I was able to park right in front of the restaurant. The place was very clean and they were very friendly. My order was ready and it was a quick and easy transaction. I, of course, added extra cheese to my sandwich and they did not disappoint. So many places charge you for extra cheese and when you get it home it's barely even a regular serving of cheese. Not with this place! The bread was soft and fresh. The Bulgogi was tender (no gristle or hard to eat pieces), the salty/sweet flavors were balanced perfectly, and the jalapeños added a nice, spicy kick. They also added fresh lettuce and red onion. When I first sat down to eat my sandwich I thought I would devour the entire thing. My eyes were bigger than my stomach. I ate half and was perfectly full. I ate the other half the next day for dinner (just did a quick reheat in my air fryer) and it somehow tasted even better. I am not usually a fan of sweet dishes, but the Bulgogi was perfect and this is a sandwich I will crave and definitely get again. I love finding places that make food you crave. I think they are hard to come by these days. This is definitely a spot worth checking out! read more

Popped in here to grab lunch while running an errand out of time. I got the bibimbap burrito and it was really good! They put the perfect amount of the spicy sauce in the burrito to not be overwhelming but included an extra little cup on the side if you want to spice it up! Service was also great. The guy who took my order was ridiculously polite and they had my food out in 5 or so minutes. This place is tucked away in a business park area, but don't sleep on it! I come to the area semi regularly to visit a pottery store around the corner so I'll definitely be back! read more

I came in with regular expectations, as this is my first time visiting this restaurant. The menu and pictures looked great. I ordered their bibim wrap and spam musubi. The wait was rather long, almost 30 minutes, but the establishment was empty, which was odd. Once I got my food, it was fresh and hot. I was excited, but to my displeasure, the food was overly sweet and one-note. Starting with the wrap, the tortilla they used was stale, and the wrap itself was coming apart (probably because it was stale and stiff). The contents inside the wrap were overly sweet with a hint of beef flavor. I understand Korean food has sweet flavors incorporated into its cuisine, but a wrap with vegetables and meat shouldn't be sweet. They also had a red sauce which, again, was so sweet. I was disappointed by how one-note the wrap was, given the images and rating this place had. The spam was good. It had teriyaki, which was also sweet, but it had a more balanced flavor. It was definitely overshadowed by the wrap being bad. Overall, I wouldn't come here again because of the wait and flavors. read more

We forgot to take photos before eating it!! Come early to find parking somewhere! Or drop off someone to order and wait to pick them up. But don't give up and come try out the food. We got the spicy chicken wrap, bulgogi wrap and spicy teriyaki plate. All three are straightforward and delicious! Highly recommended, we will definitely be back for the other menu items! read more

Wow!! Simple, good food!! Had the Bibim Wrap. So much flavor in that wrap!! The service was phenomenal as well. I love small, simple places, so this place foots the bill. It's in a light industrial and office park, so parking was not easy, but a bit of a walk is good! I will be back. read more

This place is so good. If you work in the North San Jose/Santa Clara/Milpitas tech circle, you've gotta stop by on your lunch break. I ordered online for pick up (they close at 1:30, so be sure to go before then) and I just grabbed it off the counter when I got there. Cute little shop located around autobody and small warehouse stores, you might miss it. But you shouldn't. Parking gets a little tough, but I just pulled my car in front real quick and hopped out. Onto the food. I got the bulgogi sandwich because some other Yelper had a very appetizing photo...and I did not regret it. Seriously, it smelled so good that I had to whip the sandwich out at the stoplight on Montague Expressway to catch a glimpse. Perfectly tender, salty, sweet bulgogi with the nice sour and spicy jalapeño- it couldn't be beat. I couldn't even wait to get back to my desk at work to eat it, I finished it in my company parking lot. Everything in San Jose is expensive now and this isn't the exception, but this is definitely going on my lunch time rotation- sorry Mendocino Farms. read more

Really good spicy pork sandwich. Nice little hole in the wall spot. Guy in the front was really nice.

#51 on Yelp's 2022 Top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area list. Unfortunately, I didn't have the same experience that many other Yelpers have, and could have gone on an off day. It also could have been because I went towards the end of the week, at the end of the lunch rush- It's Lunch Time is only open on the weekdays from 10:30am-2:30pm. I stopped by around 2pm on a Friday, and called in my order ahead of time (they estimated 10 minutes for my order to be ready). It's Lunch Time is a small shop located in a semi-industrial area. Make sure you follow your GPS so you don't miss it! They have a small menu, but they had a lot of chips and drink options to go along with your meal. It wasn't busy when It wasn't busy when I picked up my order, and I tried their Bulgogi Sandwich (Onion, Cheese, Lettuce, Jalapeno, $14.99, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=6suH8C-eIGTp08F7ow9QnA&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg). I liked the flavor of their bulgogi, but it was a little too salty overall and slightly dry. I also didn't like the bread they used (an Italian roll?), since it added to the overall dryness of the sandwich. The ingredients were fresh though, and I would consider coming back if in the area for lunch. Their staff was really friendly, and they had hand sanitizer at the counter. Only indoor seating options were available. Parking was easy to find at the time since there were a few spots available in their shared lot. read more

Best time is lunch time. ~ My friend and I shared a Bulgogi sandwich ($15) and it was so filling! The sandwich is simple, good, and HUGE! It was bigger than my hand. The bread is thin & there's a good balance of meat, cheese, and lettuce in the sandwich. The meat is flavorful and not too overly sweet. Tip: If you're unable to eat it right away, highly recommend putting it back in the oven or airfryer! It tastes so much better and gets that crispiness back :) read more

Wonderful staff and customer service, great food and generous portions! I found this place because it was on the Yelp's Top 100 Places to Eat in the Bay Area list and they had great reviews and the food looked yummy so I decided to give them a try. They are located in an industrial area and could be easy to miss. Upon walking inside I was immediately greeted by one of the owners and he was so nice and friendly. He asked me had I been there before and explained the menu to me. I asked for some of his recommendations and he also told me what the popular items were. I really appreciated this! The menu is not too big but you do have options and there's plenty of variety. They offer sandwiches, Bibimbap, teriyaki plates and wraps. I decided to go with the Bibimbap which came with Bulgogi, rice, veggies and a hot chili sauce. The portion was huge!! They definitely do not skimp on the portion size or the meat as it as loaded with Bulgogi. The meat was so tender and flavorful, the rice was cooked perfectly, the veggies were sliced thin and very fresh. While I'm not a lover of spicy things, the hot chili sauce was definitely a nice addition and took the flavor over the top. I enjoyed the food and my entire experience here. Please support this 2 person local restaurant that's serving amazing food cooked to order! I highly recommend and will be back! read more

Amazing, fast, friendly service!!! Hands down the best sandwich I've had in a while!!! Will be back again soon!

This place is sooooo delicious. The quality of the food is just immaculate. My first experience was with the spam musubi and OH MY GOD I WAS BLOWN AWAY. I felt like Remy from "Ratatouille" when he eats the cheese and strawberry together and it makes magic. Not even exaggerating! The second thing I tried, was their spicy chicken wrap! I did not know what to expect when I received my order, but golly it was a huge wrap! Once I opened it, I was once blown away by their presentation and quality of the food. You can really tell they take pride in their food and not only that, but reassurance to the customers' about wait times bc it can be a 10 min wait, but if you know they give out great quality and food it's fine with me! They are also very friendly and polite. You guys definitely need to give this place a go I know I'll be back to try something else and be blown away! read more

I must have driven by this place so many times in the past. Until today when my daughter asked if I tried the food cause a friend of mine use to own a shop across the street. Honestly never really crossed my mind of ever trying the food. Having to try the food for the first time today, I was a bit surprise of how good and tasty it was and the value is awesome. You can't beat the price. Ordered ahead over the phone for pick up and was ready in under 10minutes. We tried the bulgogi sandwich and the spicy teriyaki plate. Yea the place may look like a hole in the wall from the outside. But don't let than full you. Like me for years. Recommend you give this place a try. read more

TLDR: 5-star service, 5-star food! I just can't help but give this place 5-stars. I mean, sincerely, the owner is the absolute nicest, friendliest, most humble guy... I dunno, I ever met? He's even nicer than the coffee guy in Sonoma (see my previous review on that). I could spend paragraphs describing how humble he is. But I'll just give one example. When we told him how we found his place on Yelp, with all these 5 stars, he simply blushed and said that he has some very loyal customers, and he's grateful that they would spend up to a quarter of their lunch break (15 min), just driving to his restaurant to eat. How wonderful is that answer??? The place is small and it's in the middle of a bunch of other industrial companies, such as auto repair and machine shops. The menu is very small, which is perfectly fine. I always tell my wife, as long as a restaurant does ONE thing better than anyone else, they will always have customers. I truly believe that. My wife got the teriyaki plate, while I tried their chicken sandwich. We were the only ones there around 1:30p (place closes at 2:30p). As far as I could tell it was just the owner and another lady, possibly his wife? Within a short time, maybe around 5 minutes, we got our stuff. He even gave us 2 plates, so that we could share the teriyaki, which was a sweet thought, but unnecessary, since my wife doesn't like sandwiches. Both portions were quite big. It was interesting that for the teriyaki plate, she got 2 versions of salad, one portion with Ranch, and the other with Thousand Island. She said she would have preferred maybe a more Korean or Asiany dressing, like a pumelo dressing or roasted sesame mayo. But that's just a small thing. Her chicken was quite juicy, and it also had a nice smoky flavor, not sure whether it's from the chicken or the teriyaki sauce. But she really liked it. I had the chicken sandwich, which was HUGE. I think I would normally just eat half and be fine, but on that day we had a lot of errands to run, so I decided to just finish the other half as well. The sandwich was toasted, and the meat was cooked, while the veggies were crispy and cold. It was a very homey sandwich, and I really enjoyed it as well. The owner even wet some napkins for us, kinda like wet-naps, so we could clean up after ourselves. That was super thoughtful of him! We chatted a bit after that, and we left with a good feeling. Will definitely be back, especially to support this delightful spot. Is it Lunch Time yet??? read more

This has become my Friday lunch spot when in the office. It's in a very unassuming spot, and the interior is very simple, and the owner is welcoming. This honestly is the style you can expect from the sandwiches. They are simple, well made, and delicious. When you unwrap a sandwich it will look like something you'd expect to see in an advertisement, with fantastic flavor. The cost is a few dollars above what I'd want to pay, but considering it is a small business, I can understand the reason for the cost. Keep in mind selection is limited, and ingredients may run out, but I think that is what plays into the quality of the food. Recommended to try. read more
