We had the Detroit style pizza. Very flavorful, meaty, with crisp cheesy crusted edges, perfectly baked throughout. There were quite a few other delicious looking choices that I would love to try next time and I'm positive they won't disappoint. The dining area is very clean with good amount of seating, nice staff, and parking is a bit limited.

Ordered a couple of pizzas for pick up on a Wednesday night. We got a Detroit style Motorhead and the take out special of an xl half cheese half pepperoni pizza that came with 3 meatballs and 2 chocolate chip cookies. It was our first time having Slice House. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable of the different menu items. We also got some cannolis which were great. The kids loved the rainbow sprinkle cannolis. The Motorhead was great. I really enjoyed the texture of the pizza and the thickness was perfect. The slices of the xl pizza were huge! We definitely had to cut those up to eat. The only thing I would say is that I wish there was more space to sit and dine in. Loved their takeout specials and the pizza flavors. We will definitely be back to try other pizzas! Thanks Slice House!

Slice House is such a cute little spot, and the fact that it's connected to the Turing apartments makes it super convenient. The slices are huge! Honestly, one slice can easily feel like two. They also have a deal of the day, which is a nice bonus. I can't remember exactly which slice I had, but it was really good...lots of meat, very hearty, definitely Americano style. They also offer Detroit-style pizza if you want something thicker and more pan-style. We also ordered the meatballs, and they were absolutely delicious. I might have enjoyed the meatballs even more than the pizza. They also have fountain drinks with free refills, which was nice. Overall, it was a really great little outing, and I'd definitely recommend checking it out.

Pretty good spot for pizza! We stopped by on a weeknight looking for a quick slice and this place hit the spot. Respect the CRAFT indeed! I respect it! There's a huge variety of pre-selected topping combinations to choose from. I got a slice of the New York style Tony Jack. The slice looks big but the crust is very thin, so it's more like a snack. That crust had an artisanal-bread like chew, so be prepared for a jaw workout! The ingredients all tasted high-quality - that creamy white ranch drizzle on top really complemented the salted smoked bacon pieces and freshness of the green onion. A little tickle of sweetness from the honey capped it all off nicely! Overall, I'd come back to try the other pizza flavors when I'm in the area.

We were excited to try this place due to the location, but were disappointed. We ordered a "medium" size pizza, which was around $26, but the pizza ended up being a personal size! The pizza itself was good with a crunchy crust. Okay cheese and sauce, but the prices are just unreasonable. I feel like the size was falsely represented.

Slice of wiseguy

Great place to get some good pizza! All the pizzas looked good in the display. I got a slice of the wiseguy and would definitely get it again. All the toppings went so well together - I liked that they add green onions to it. Crust is slightly charred, crispy exterior with a chewy interior. The slice is huge! It's pretty much the size of two "regular" pizza slices. Very clean inside. There are two TVs, so it's great to have entertainment while dining in. I appreciate that they place empty pizza boxes on the counter, so it's convenient to grab and pack leftovers. Worker was welcoming and friendly; checked in on all tables to make sure everything was good. Same plaza as Trader Joe's (great to grab a meal before or after a grocery run). Parking shouldn't be a problem, but I can imagine the outside parking gets busy and full during weekends.

Super convenient location for a quick bite while running errands. Generous slices starting around $7+ depending on the flavor you pick. I went for the classic pepperoni and it did not disappoint. Service was nice and efficient. Definitely plan on coming back to try other flavors and styles of pizza!

Tony Gemignani, a 13-time World Pizza Champion, has opened a Slice House location in Milpitas! It's right next to Trader Joe's across from Great Mall. This place is a order at the cashier, then wait for your number to be called type of joint. It has 4 styles of pizzas to choose from (New York, Detroit, Sicilian, and Grandma) and offers a variety of salad, appetizers, and pasta dishes. Oh, and you can't forget the meatballs! Everything is made from scratch here and the taste proves it! It was actually my first time trying Slice House, and I am officially a fan! What we ordered: * Slice NY Pepperoni * Slice NY Picante * Slice SIC Burrata Queen * Slice DET Tony Jack * Bacon Arugula Salad * Meatballs * Bucatini with Meat Sauce The place is semi small, so if you can't grab a table, you are better off grabbing your food to go and eat in your car lol or outside real quick.

My go to spot for Detroit-style and NY-style pizzas. Service is always friendly, they go over and beyond to ensure your satisfaction. The pizzas are SO. GOOD. Perfectly crispy on the outside, flavorful and chewy on the inside. Their daily special flavors are so yummy and affordable to get one slice each of, and try different flavors (although the slices are huge so I'm usually full after one, it's still yummy when reheated at home!) We used to go all the way to Mountain View for Slice House, so we were elated to see one open up in Milpitas. 10/10 would recommend!

I love pizza and I am very picky when it comes to finding a good pizza place. For me, it always comes down to three things: the crust, the sauce, and the quality of the cheese, and Slice House has all of that covered. I really like that they offer different crust options, and the ingredients tasted fresh and well put together. The pizza had great flavor without feeling heavy or greasy. The location is convenient and easy to get to, which is a plus. That said, the table setup could use some improvement and it is not the most comfortable if you plan to sit and eat. Overall, solid pizza and definitely a place I would come back to when I am craving a good slice.

Menu needs to be more concise. This is just eyesore to look at from a quick glance.
Tom S.

It's the only thin slice to ever exacerbate my TMJ. They use a lot of cornmeal so the dough is a bit tougher. The pizzas look amazing but because they're thin and they also heat them up in a conveyor belt oven after ordering, which makes them become very well done and too crunchy. You know those parmesan crisp snacks they sell in stores? That's what my NYC Big Papa slice tasted like. It's unfortunate because I really wanted to like this place. Their Detroit style pizzas are also way too thin. Also their menu is an eyesore. Way too much information to be looking at from a quick glance. It also ruins the first impression customer experience when first stopping by here. I'd like to come back but I would love if they reevaluated their recipe here at this location first.

I'd been hearing great things about Slice House from other parts of the Bay Area, and I finally got the chance to check out their Great Mall Parkway location, worth every bit of the hype! I tried the Purple Potato Pizza (Wednesday's pizza of the day), and it was incredible. Every topping shone through, from the savory cheese to the perfectly balanced sauce. The purple potato added a unique twist that complemented the flavors beautifully, and the crust was texturally spot-on, crispy yet tender. I also ordered another pizza. whose name escapes me, but it immediately reminded me of a similar gem I discovered wandering the streets of New York. I will absolutely be back to try more of their pizzas! Service was another highlight. I walked in 15 minutes before closing, and instead of a tired or rushed vibe, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The restaurant has plenty of seating in a warm, inviting atmosphere, plus ample parking shared with nearby businesses. Slice House is a must-visit for pizza lovers!

Erica E.

Parking is okay, shares a lot with other establishments, but came with a friend for a late lunch on a week day (around 2pm) plenty of seating, but also kind of a small spot! Also some outdoor seating is available. The staff is friendly, quick, and attentive! We tried 4 different slices which were around $7 each. Pretty good size for the price! They ask if we want it cut into two pieces and they also heat it up if you're dining in! We got the burrata queen - thicker dough and slightly sweet with pesto and burrata. The wiseguy - this one had green onions, Italian sausage, Tony's pepper hot oil, ricotta, and pepperoni! I really like that they have green onions as a topping; the Italian sausage had a slight kick and everything paired well with the ricotta (just wish it had a bit more ricotta). The Drunken Italian - the tomato sauce is really good on this also thicker dough! I can't remember the last one my friend ordered but it had onions, peppers, pepperoni and some other toppings (maybe it was the combo?) either way it was very good also! Def would be coming back to try the hot honey next

We ordered the cheese mochi pizza, salmon shimeji mushroom spaghetti, and risotto. The mochi cheese pizza was the clear highlight. You can taste the mochi texture throughout. We were debating whether mochi was blended into the dough or the cheese. Definitely worth trying if you're a mochi lover. The Salmon Shimeji Mushroom Spaghetti is listed as one of the more popular pasta dishes, and it earned that reputation. The cream and seafood flavors blended nicely. The risotto, however, was a bit of a letdown as it was way too salty for our taste. Since I mentioned we were celebrating a birthday, our waitress brought a sweet touch: two scoops of ice cream with a candle. We also ordered the matcha tiramisu, which was pleasant but not particularly memorable -- not overly sweet, but nothing that lingered either. Overall, La Casa Mia is a solid spot for Japanese-Italian fusion. I'd come back to explore more of the menu.

I inside of the restaurant was small but had plenty of tables. It was a slow day on that weekday early dinner time. We asked to order our items for take out. We waited not too long as I remember. How was the food? Fried Calamari- for only being a couple minutes away I wonder why the calamari was already almost cold when we ate it. It was pretty disappointing. Maybe they just had it in the box while they waited for the rest of our order. I don't know. Flavor was good. Pizza Primavera - It was good, I was okay with it. The pizza dough wasn't my favorite but it was fine. White Pasta - I honestly don't remember what the name was but it was an item my bf ordered. This was terrible. Like there was too much roux to make the bechamel. It tasted of flour. Not much salt, not much of other flavors. Not enough milk and cheese and butter. He took a bite and put it down. Overall, glad we tried it but we might not be coming back. With the economy now, it's disappointing when the food is terrible for how much we pay for.

We got the chicken parm and the margherita pizza. With the margherita pizza, the dough was obviously bought premade and frozen. It was dry and hard as expected from a premade frozen pizza dough. Not sure if the whole thing was bought frozen. There was generous amounts of cheese with one sad basil leaf of each quarter. One positive thing I can add about the pizza is that the cheese does have a satisfying flavor, giving me a nostalgic flashback to school lunch pizza. As for the pasta, the chicken has a strange taste (maybe too strong on a vodka marinade?). There was way too much sauce for the amount of pasta, and it had a very light and bright flavor, not terrible but definitely lacking depth and any nuances of aromatics or herbs. The chicken was not breaded and instead grilled. Servers were attentive, but seemed to have a lot of staff mostly standing around.

We ordered our favorite appetizer first and then placed the rest of our order. There were both a female and a male server, and neither of them made us feel welcome at all. The male server did not write anything down while taking our order and barely responded when I spoke. He gave no acknowledgment whatsoever, so I honestly could not tell whether he even heard me. It felt like the staff simply wanted us to leave as quickly as possible because the restaurant closes at 8 PM. We even rushed through our meal and made sure to leave before 8 PM out of consideration for the staff, yet we were still treated like an inconvenience the entire time. What shocked me the most was the hygiene issue. The black-haired female server at the counter near the entrance dropped a small stainless steel basket used for checks onto the floor, stepped on it with her shoe, then picked it up with her hands and placed it back without cleaning or sanitizing it. After that, she never washed or sanitized her hands, yet continued touching napkins, utensils, and setting tables. That is completely unacceptable, especially in a restaurant. To make things worse, my husband ordered a soju cocktail, and the male server placed the alcoholic drink directly in front of me even though I am visibly 9 months pregnant with a very large baby bump. He said nothing and walked away. Not once did the staff say "enjoy your meal" when serving our food. They never checked on our table even once afterward, and we never received any water or napkin refills. The only time the male server came back was after cleaning the restroom to tell us the kitchen was closing. If customers arriving after 7 PM are such an inconvenience, then please put a sign on the door telling people not to come in after that time. And most importantly, please teach your staff proper hygiene and basic customer service. This was one of the most unwelcoming and unsanitary dining experiences I have ever had.

We asked about 2 wines and she brought a sample from the open "wine by the glass", which was great. My wife had veal piccata and I asked for a recommendation between the linguine with clams or chicken parm.
