In my job we get the opportunity to eat a lot of pizza so I do not typically crave it, but Mountain Mike's has some of the more interesting topping combinations on their designed pizzas. This time I opted for the Snowy Alps which I ordered on the app using the 49ers win promo. When I arrived around 5:30pm the lady at the register was apologetic that my pizza was not quite ready and asked if I could wait 10 more minutes. As I had been running around all day without a moment to catch up on my messages, it worked out perfectly. While I was waiting the flow of customers was pretty nonstop. Some ordered whole pies while a few opted for the buffet. Shortly after my pizza was ready, and they were nice to offer me a 2L soda and asked if I wanted more cheese and peppers. I do like that the service here is always full-service with inquiring about cheese, peppers, plates, and napkins. When I dug into the Snowy Alps the sauce and the toppings were absolutely delicious. I did notice that with the large pizza they cut them into smaller slices which worked out as I could share with some coworkers easily and when I packed the rest of the leftovers it made it easy to eat them over the next 2 days. I had seen online some new Indian inspired pizza combinations and saw the sign at the store as well. I might have to try that the next time I crave pizza and the 49ers get another win :) read more

We've been ordering pizzas for years. My favorite is the Mountain sized Everest with white sauce. IIRC, in the past, the price was in the 30s or maybe low 40s. Now, this pizza is 60 bucks, which is a bit greedy for my taste, but I've tolerated it until now. Tonight's pizza had barely any toppings on it. I dont know if this is a new cook or a new process, but this was a huge disappointment. I felt cheated. We need to rethink where we buy our future pizzas. read more

I hadn't been here in a few years, but decided to try Mountain Mike's again recently and was happy I did. This was one of our favorite pizza places to come after my son's baseball games or other sporting events. Their indoor seating is plentiful and you can enjoy watching sports on their TV's. The pizzas were always flavorful and the ingredients were fresh. I ordered a medium Everest (combination) and a medium Pike's Peak (meat lover's) last week. Since we were in the area, we didn't call our order in ahead and just walked-in and placed our order. The young gentleman who was working was friendly and helpful. Both pizzas were very good and I like that they didn't skimp on the toppings. The crust were cooked just right and we enjoyed our pizzas. Recently, I've been ordering a large Everest and it definitely hits the spot. I also enjoy any leftovers we have. I also used my Yelp check-in offer to get 15% off my order. They have several tray of pizzas and garlic bread sticks freshly oven baked and soda refills. Interior is quite spacious with three TV plasma screen with sports events. It's a place where a whole family would come with children and they have game machines, arcade and claw machine tucked away on the far side of the room. It's definitely better than a lot of other pizza chains I can think of. Their pepperoni slices are crispy and delicious. They offer ample toppings on their pizza. The buffet here is a steal, especially with inflation prices at regular places. It was 12.99+tax for lunch and the buffet was fully stocked despite only a handful of customers. Mountain Mike's pizza has some of the better quality toppings for a pizza chain. They have the best pepperoni and their other toppings seem to be fresher than other pizza places. We ordered their app anniversary deal with was bogo free any large pizzas, which came out to $15 a pizza. Good deal! They're regular pieces are pricey but always look for coupons! We got the Pike's Peak, which is their all meat pizza, the Chicken club with no green onions, and a build your own with chicken pineapple and sausage. Yes pineapple does go on pizza! All the pizzas were made correctly even the one we ordered with no cheese. They put a lot of toppings and don't cheat like some other places. Also tried their churros which came out hot with lots of cinnamon sugar! They were tasty and not dense! I have ordered pizza from this mountain mikes for 20 years today I placed an order online that somehow didn't transpose correctly and they sent me two of the same pizza not the two different pizzas I ordered. The driver just walked away with my change I've got three hungry kids and two rambunctious pups so I just threw my hands up. I tried calling the mountain mikes in Milpitas location to ask about the mistake with the pizzas and was screamed at by some lady that didn't introduce herself, when I inquired about how I might fix the mix up she informed me that it was my fault and that her system is flawless and that I could more or less go jump off a bridge. I am disappointed Mike you used to be a mountain of goodness at the end of a long day. Unless you enjoyed be told you're a failure and life and no one can help and getting robbed I'd stay away from this mountain mikes at the very least. It was nice while it lasted. read more

We decided on this particular MMP due to it being the closest location to home and because our visits here have always been positive. The order consisted of Robbers Roost with Creamy Garlic & a McKinley Pizza. Pizza was cooked extremely well, having a nice hearty crusty bottom & a layer of pillowy soft dough. Went to pick up a pizza preordered by my wife. I gave them name address and phone number associated with the order and they wouldn't give me the pizza. By the time i drove back home then back to Mountain Mikes the pizza would have clearly been cold. BEWARE OF THIS MOUNTAIN MIKE'S LOCATION. We had placed an order for delivery on our rush home. They delivered and was demanding a bigger tip than what we had originally put. Delivery driver asked my brother for $26 tip for being across the street! But when my card statement came in, the amount was totally different from the receipt we had previously! Im from Texas and I usually order to the one close to me over there. My hotel embassy suites recommended us to try this location out. Soon as I walk in we were greeted with a warm and kind welcome and felt very happy to get greeted with smiles and the staff is amazing here. I used to order occasionally. Yesterday I ordered for the 1st time in a long time. We had guests and ordered a combo and also a pineapple pizza. The combo was ok, however the pineapple pizza tasted as though the dough was old. He definitely didn't taste like the other one apparently. Our friend said he wanted to call and tell the restaurant his pineapple pizza was the worst he had ever eaten and tell them to make another. So my husband had one slice and agreed.
