Each time I come here my cold brew drink is consistent which I love. Their pastries are always so good, I love when they add new additions to the menu like the little cinnamon bun bites!! Terrible for two reasons: 1. Very inconsistent coffee brewers. For example ordering the Havana cappuccino here has the sweetness all at the bottom while every place I've gone is even throughout the cup. 2. I scanned multiple times to collect the reward points and every time they "confirmed it went through" it doesn't show up in my balance. Very annoyed that the service here is inconsistent. read more

Thanks to PG&E working on the powerlines near my home last week, I had to come to Peet's in order to get some work done. First thing I noticed, there were not a lot of outlets near seating (my luck on a day my laptop needed power), but I eventually ended up finding a counter seat at the corner of the coffee shop with an electrical outlet next to it. What a relief, as I was on a time crunch. There weren't many options in the display case in the afternoon (cinnamon roll, morning glory muffin, coffee cake, peach berry scone), and nothing appealing to me, so I just got an egg and cheese sandwich. It was premade and heated after I ordered, prepared quickly without having to wait, and service was standard. I've been here almost every day of the week so far and I'm so impressed by the kindness and cheerfulness that the workers exude every morning to workers! With their "good mornings", "how are yous", and happy smiles, anyone that comes it with a sour mood immediately is leaving with a big bright smile! Anyways, I'm sad that I didn't take a picture of all of my baked goods that I've eaten for this week, lol but trust me, all of them were warmed to perfection! Those baked goods gave me energy to study and keep myself self sustained until lunch time! This morning, I decided to get a meaty ham and Swiss sandwich and it did not disappoint! Although, it was a bit messy with the sauce spilling out everywhere (my fault though). I appreciate that the workers call out online orders and Doordash orders, rather than chucking them to the side, making online order folks wonder if their order is still in the works or completed. I find this place more pleasant than another infamous coffee shop. Customers are more courteous about their loudness and will take a look around before deciding whether or not their conversations should be taken elsewhere as some folks come here to do some work inside (since there aren't outlets outside). Side note: it seems like people come in here to use the bathroom and bounce? Kinda strange, but lol. Just be aware that the bathrooms here aren't as clean as they should be, but they do have a sign that says you can flag staff to fix up the restrooms should there be any issues. read more

My husband and I go on a coffee date every Saturday and Sunday morning and we both love Peets coffee and this location is one of the one we visit very often more than the other The problem we have here is the baristas are not as good sometimes and so its a hit or miss, some day you get an amazing coffee some days the coffee are so diluted don't even have peets strength of coffee in the sip and it make me feel bad to complaint all the time. But the coffee are so expensive nowadays its hard to not complain. Also I like my coffee extra hot and for some reason this is hard to achieve for some barista, there has been so many times I have to complain about this here because I can't drink luck war coffee. I like my coffee hot and cool down on my hand. The store could be cleaner sometimes, there have been times when I feel I have to ask them to swipe the floor. Other than some bad coffee the service is good, the baristas are very nice overall. Peet's has been husband's fav coffee for forever. I'm not a coffee drinker but he told me Peet's now has brown sugar jellies you can add to cold beverages. Whaaaaaat? Since hubs (the coffee drinker) loves me, he gave me the free drink he earned to try it out. I went with the matcha oat latte with jellies. I love him very matcha too - he knows the way to my heart Unfortunately (or fortunately for the parents) the kids weren't fans of the jellies. They were definitely quite chewy and sweet but I loved it! The oat milk was fab with the matcha and the jellies! I wait, mistakenly thinking that a coffee and a croissant don't make for a difficult time for the counter folks. I wait some more and watch people who were behind me get their orders. Disorganized. This place would've been a really nice place to get some coffee and pastries if customers don't need to ask multiple times in order to get their order. First time I ordered a drink a pastry. The person taking order the person preparing the order are completely disconnected. The only piece of scone left that was supposed to go to me went to another customer. I had to ask a few times in order to get my 2 items order fulfilled. Second time we had order for 4 ppl and the person preparing the order didn't even know what we have in our order. Again we have to ask multiple times before our orders are fulfilled. I have never experienced this before at this location. But, i want to put my experience out here so that the manager can address the staff shortage issue (if that is the problem here). I ordered an espresso frappe in store. People who ordered in store after I had placed my order, got their orders and were long gone; while i had to wait for 20 minutes. When I enquired with the cashier about my order, she gave me a curt reply. The lady who eventually prepared my order was not even working up front. She came from the back. That being said I think this place should get 6 stars for variety and the the quality of the coffee they pour. I was taking some pictures of the place for my review and the counter girl told me they don't allow photography in this place? Maybe if I was taking a picture of some celebrity that didn't want to be hassled I would understand that but it was just of the menu's... The drinks: nothing great, but again better than nearby Starbucks. Don't recommend their new Black Tie. A few friends got it and I tried some. It's more like a sugary/creamy drink than coffee, and I'm about the coffee. Sweetened condensed milk + half and half are overkill. Service: hit or miss.
