I had a great experience yesterday (Monday) at the Dunkin' on El Camino Real in Sunnyvale! I used the app to order an egg and bacon bagel sandwich (plenty of bacon strips and egg to cover a slightly toasted normally-sized bagel), crispy hashbrowns, a potent iced blended coffee, and they even threw in a free doughnut with the order. I got the glazed. Everything arrived hot, fresh, and tasted excellent. Smooth and quick process using the app to order ahead--no lines at all when I arrived. The staff deserves huge kudos; they were friendly, efficient, and made sure everything was perfect. The facility was spotless and surprisingly quiet around noon, making it a relaxing quick stop instead of the usual rush. We passed by this location and decided to stop by. It looks new so that was an added plus. Inside it's roomy. There's a staff at the counter and there's a screen to order as well. There was plenty of parking. The staff was a bit lackluster for being a little past 1ish, but she was doing her job. They didn't have regular sprinkle donuts available because of 4th of July sprinkle donuts. They had a decent selection, but the glass case wasn't full. What a mess. I ordered a curbside mobile order for pick up and waited 10 minutes for no one to come out. Walked inside and there were a lot of orders just sitting there for pickup. Of course, my order was one of them. No designated curbside parking spots so you just have to park near the door to hope they find you. read more

I'm extremely frustrated with this location and their poor customer service. Multiple times I've ordered the same drink through the mobile app, only to arrive and be told they're out of it, yet it's still listed as available to purchase. If you don't have the item, stop selling it on the app. What's worse is the refund process. Instead of simply giving my money back for a drink they couldn't provide, staff made it unnecessarily difficult and acted rude, as if it was my fault they were out of stock. I still enjoy visiting this Dunkin' Donuts location on El Camino Real in Sunnyvale. Grand opening a few years ago was amazing and fun when we heard about Dunkin coming to the area. It's still very cozy and convenient here. Staffs are always experienced and knowledgeable. There's always plenty of spots to sit and chat for the hour. I still don't see any trash bins outside, so toss your trash up near the front pickup counter inside. I came here for the special $14.99 heart shaped tin box filled with donut holes of my choice. Not bad. Note, they don't have all three different tin boxes here, but the Just BCuz box was fine. I will likely collect all three boxes this season. Donuts are still delicious and good looking. Heart shaped big donuts are available. Staffs are helpful and know exactly what you want if you describe it to them. They really helped fill up my tin box with love. Is it true that "everyone runs on Dunkin'?" Apparently everyone does in Sunnyvale because this place was poppin'. Lots of people sitting there. The place is newer and clean. There was no one in line. We had a $2off coupon and decided to try these donuts. The place is new and has a small parking lot. We went around 4pm on a Tuesday and there was no wait. The cases were pretty full of donuts, but the first thing I noticed was that this place was HOT and stuffy. There are floor to ceiling windows in this place and there was no A/C or air flow. We felt bad for the employees. It was so stuffy, we couldn't eat inside. There were 2 people sitting outside to eat on their patio facing El Camino. There was a sign to please limit dining to under 30 min as well. The donuts are small and about $2 each. They tasted a little stale and the powder sugar on my donut had been mostly rubbed off by way the donuts were stacked. There are better options for donuts in the area. I will not be coming back to this location due to poor customer service. Let me preface this by saying this: I've worked food service, I try to give the workers a lot of grace, and I don't consider myself a sensitive customer. With that said, as a paying customer, I don't think expecting the basic customer service is too much. The 10:5 rule must not be taught here! I've experienced poor customer service at this location a few times but today was the last straw: walking in, there was one customer ahead of me and three employees. The older Asian man was helping the other customer and the two women were working drinks and something else in the back. When the customer in front was done, the man went to work to pack the order-aheads. Mind you, I had been waiting patiently in line and right in front of the donut cases for 2-3 minutes so he saw me. But at no time did he or the other two employees greet or say "we'll be right with you". One of the women looked over twice and saw we were waiting and went back to her task. The man boxed up one order and then went on to the next! Nevermind the paying customers waiting to order, he didn't look up once or even just say "just a sec!". At this point, I had been waiting 5+ minutes and just said forget it and walked out. I took my business to Stan's in Santa Clara. I won't be back here even though I do enjoy their donut hole munchkins. And on a side note, the far left screen has been off for the last few weeks. Dunkin Donuts are popping up here and there even some with a drive thru. This location does not have a drive thru but assuming it would be a lot more busy if they did. Ordering through the app directly is very easy and you get to accumulate points for some freebies later on. Please, someone fix their mobile system order. Twice, I've ordered through the mobile app 20-30 minutes before my arrival and still had to wait another 15 minutes. Friday mornings, understandable that it's busy but waiting 45 minutes for 6 donuts seems a bit much, no drinks or the other breakfast items, just 6 donuts. Much faster just going there to order. I do appreciate the staff (I didn't catch her name) who noticed I've been waiting for awhile and got my order done right away, thank you!! They are a bit disorganized as I placed a mobile order and had half of my order ready on their mobile order pickup trays when I arrived for pickup. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to grab them or wait for my full order so I left them there. Nobody greeted or checked in with me so I stood waiting a few minutes longer. I see someone bringing what looks like it could be the other half of my order, and they look lost because they don't know where my other items are. They leave the half on the top tray without looking at the bottom tray and consolidating. Onto the goods themselves...pass on the apple fritter. DD failed there. Do not pass on the snacking bacon or the munchkin donut holes. Those were both delicious. Cold brew with sweet foam was pretty okay for the $3 app promo price but not sure I would pay full price for it. I like that they're located near my now favorite Korean market so I will frequent when I'm in the area but would rather hit my neighborhood donut shop for the donuts. The donuts food and drink are what you would expect from a Heat and serve type establishment. The selection is good and everything I've purchased has been of an acceptable quality. I am lowering my rating because of the overall customer service. I've gone to the store twice in the last few months about 15 minutes before closing and they have already locked the doors. I tried to purchase a donut using the mobile app today and when I arrived i I was told the item was out of stock. I asked them to cancel the order and was advised they can't, that I have to do at on the app. The only way I found to do so was by sensing a message to customer service. I did so and received a message that they will get back to me in two days. It shouldn't be this hard to get a donut every once in a while. read more

Finally, a Dunkin' nearby -- a nice donut shop that offers a variety of donuts, sandwiches, and coffees. As soon as I found out this morning that the store is open, I drove there at 8am and went gaga over donuts. I downloaded their mobile App and put an order online before I went there. There were deals and offers available in the app as soon soon as you download it. Apple Pay is accepted so it was a smooth process to order and pay. I ordered a dozen of assorted donuts and an Irish Creme Iced Coffee. The only problem I encountered with the app is that I can't customize the donuts when I selected the box of 6 or 12 option. But I tried the app tonight and what I should have done is select 12 individual donuts and the system will automatically adjust the price to a box of 12. When I arrived there my order was ready, but I had to get a few more additional items and so I still went in line to order. There were a couple of people ahead of me and the service was fast enough. One staff handles the donuts and another takes the other orders and payment. Two more staffs were at the back making the sandwiches and coffees. And one staff is in charge of giving out the orders that are ready. They are all friendly and move in a decent fast pace to assist the customers. The place, being new, looks nice and modern. It is spacious and looks promising as a hangout place when society eases restrictions. As of the moment, dining is not yet allowed. Before I drove home, I took a bite of my French Cruller. It has been awhile since I had this. I like the fluffiness of this donut, plus it's not that sweet. The Irish Coffee also tasted good, right amount of coffee and creme. I tried the Chocolate Glazed Donut today, too. I like that it's not that sweet compared to a similar donut flavor from another donut shop. I do wish they put 12 different donuts in my assortment instead of having 3 plain glazed there. I saw in the shop that the other flavors were available that time. I do want to get the most assortment of flavor because it's been years since I had Dunkin''. But now that I discovered what to do when I order through the app, I will be able to choose more flavors next time. Overall, it was worth the early morning trip. Finally! After years of seeing commercials for Dunkin' Donuts, they finally opened one up here in Sunnyvale! Pretty cool looking interior, staff was pretty friendly, ordering was easy. I really dig the decor and I really hope things get better pandemic-wise so that I'm able to chill and enjoy fresh donuts inside the store. Selection for donuts is pretty big for a shop that barely opened. I just HAD to try the Matcha topped donut cause I really love Matcha flavored anything. I want to love this place but it's just not there yet. There's potential though! I visited on a Saturday morning and it was very busy with a line out the door. There was someone at the door acting as a gatekeeper but once you get inside, it's a total free-for-all and people were all up in my space even though there's plenty of room to spread out. I got half a dozen donuts ($8.99), an iced blueberry matcha latte, 2 egg and cheese wake up wraps, and 2 egg/cheese/bacon croissants. The latter two are from the GO2 menu which has some good deals! I got my drink pretty quickly, but then had to wait over 20 minutes for my food items. I saw a few people trying to pick up orders from the app and most of them had to wait anyways, or else their order was incorrect. Disorganization aside, we were happy with our choices! I thought the wraps would be small, but they're about the size of my palm and my toddler devoured both of them. The donuts were great. I tried to order $11 of food with a $10 gift card and pay the balance with a credit card but it charged the entire amount to my credit card and then wouldn't let me cancel my order.
