CASH ONLY. On my drive over to get my massage from Ross Massage, I considered going to Kenny's Cafe but alas they were closed for the day and also on the other side of the street. It was a hot day and I needed a drink and didn't feel like going to Subway next door. I got a sugar cruller donut and decided to relive my middle school days and quenched my thirst with the class Jasmine iced tea. I was promptly assisted by someone in the back. I asked if I could please have a cup of ice (they don't serve fountain drinks here, just hot coffee/ tea and a fridge of drinks). I was asked if I was ok with using the paper cups for the hot coffee (because iced drinks is not a standard item here) and I was grateful to get anything. Considering they were closing in 10 minutes I asked if it was ok for me to take a seat at the table and they said of course. I've stopped here a few times in the past 6 years I've worked in the vicinity. Each time I've been warmly greeted and they get you outta there in record time. They have donuts, coffee, bagels and an array of sandwiches. I knew I had to work through lunch and didn't bring one from home so stopped in. You can't really go wrong with a turkey club on a croissant. Veggies were fresh, lots of turkey and bacon and the croissant was huge. Croissant was flaky and soft. Sandwich comes standard with red onion and jalapeños so if you aren't a fan make the request to omit these ingredients when you order it. Parking can get a little "hairy". Yum donuts! Have driven by this donut shop a few times and finally decided to pick up a dozen on my way to work for a co-worker's birthday. The donuts were fresh and fluffy! Had a big variety to pick from at 7:45 am and the employees were friendly. Regular donuts are 6 for $7, the jelly and custard are a little more and the apple fritters are $2.25. I picked glazed, crumb raised glazed, glazed old fashioned, chocolate custard and apple fritters. They were all tasty, the chocolate custard could have a bit more filling though. My favorite was the apple fritter! They were nice and crunchy and huge! Will definitely be back for more. Their breakfast sandwiches also sound yummy so will have to try those sometime too. This place is your classic donut shop! Note that they are strictly cash only. They've got the standard flavors, old fashion donuts, bars, twists, donut holes, apple fritters, and hot coffee brewing. I drive by this place every day and have only been able to drop by once since I rarely carry cash, but nothing beats this style of donuts. I wanted to get some donuts for coworkers and always pass by Donut Den on the way to work so I figured it was about time I stop by! The parking lot is quiet small but I still managed to find a spot. Walking in, I was greeted with smiles but I noticed the selection was a bit limited. It must have been written on my face because the older gentleman told me he had a busy morning so there wasn't as much variety as usual. No worries though, they still had plenty for me to choose from! I went with various glazed goodies, some filled donuts and the more dense cake texture ones as well. He was so nice and patiently explained what each one was because I couldn't tell what things were filled with. When I went to pay, the younger woman gave me the total and I was surprised! I have fond, fond memories of this place but unfortunately not necessarily stemming from good circumstances. They are located right next to Santa Clara Sports Therapy where I attended therapy for a pretty bad accident for six months once or twice a week. So I had a lot of time to hang around this little donut place and it was sort of my go-to whenever I was hungry or wanted something on the run. Sure, there's a Subway right next door ... but what's the fun in that? I can only speak for the donuts in the morning because any great donut place will have stale gross donuts at the end of the day since they really only make them once or twice during the day but ... man when they're fresh, they are THE BOMB. I love that this place uses a glaze that's actually marginally less sweet than many other places with glazed doughy donuts. They really allow the dough flavor to come through. I guess you can say this place is way more FRIED and oily than others but that's what makes a donut delicious! Totally recommend you make a pit stop here if you're in the area in the morning. Had a craving for donuts so after checking up on nearby places here at Yelp, I decided to visit the Donut Den. My son and I arrived a little "late" in the Donut Den day around 8:45am and the selection was really slim. However, we did really only go for donut holes and ended up scoring 3 dozen (so he could share at daycare!) without a problem. The donut holes were glazed and oh so yummy! Unlike many other places, the glaze was just right and not too sweet. My son gobbled up two in the car before we even got to his daycare just a few minutes away. I also got a custard filled and cinniman crunch cake donut to try at home. These were both some of the best I've had on the west coast! I'll definitely be back.to this Donut Den to try some more goodies, hopefully I can get there in the wee hours of the morning! I don't like leaving negative reviews but this just wasn't a great experience. I needed to pick up donuts for my office and this place was the closest. I walked in and it wasn't super clean, although staff was friendly, I saw the woman at the register wipe her nose on her shirt which kind of turned me off right from the start. I ordered a dozen donuts and tried to pay but was informed they only took cash, although I understand the reasons behind it, I expect the donuts to be stellar if I have to pay a $2 fee to withdrawl cash! But the donuts were tiny! Let me emphasize the size was very small! Nothing special about it, really dissapointed.
