Apple fritter was soft inside and crispy on the edges, crumble was super soft, and old fashioned was a bit crispy too. I've been here a few times over the years. It is located in a small strip mall right by 7-11. This is a hole-in-the-wall shop for the better. When you first walk into this tiny place, you get a wall that is plastered in pictures of their croissant sandwiches. The display case features their classic donuts. I was fortunate to have some of the donuts come out of the fryer nice and hot. Chocolate Raised Donut - nice, light, crunchy exterior. The chocolate was not overly sweet. Over the years, Daily Donuts has been my favorite spot for family treats. However, I've noticed a significant decline in the cleanliness of the facility and the quality of food. Moreover, the customer service has not met the standards I once appreciated. I encountered a staff member, a woman wearing a hat, who was quite rude. She did not listen to my order and even made disparaging remarks about me to her coworkers, which is very disappointing. In addition to the service issues, the quality of the food has also diminished. The donuts were sloppy, and the sandwich bread was soggy, which is a far cry from what I used to enjoy. Given these experiences, I regret to say that I will no longer be visiting Daily Donuts. I hope my feedback is taken seriously, as I believe your establishment has the potential to improve and return to the quality and service that many customers, including myself, once loved. read more

I hate to do this, but I have to downgrade this place after my experience this morning. There are basic food service hygiene principles that must be adhered to. This has absolutely nothing to do about Covid-19. But if you're obviously sick, perhaps you should take the day off. I stopped in for donut this morning. There was a man behind the counter, wearing a regular mask (not N-95 or an equivalent), who was quite obviously sick. And not just a little sick. I am not exaggerating when I say that he was coughing or sneezing literally every 5 seconds. He appeared fatigued and his eyes were red. This was not a healthy man. Despite this, he helped multiple customers, handling the donuts without wearing food service gloves or sanitizing his hands. It was really inappropriate. I should have left, but someone else helped me at first. But then he took the sack and looked into to ring up the order. At least he didn't cough into the sack. I have worked in food service - at a Hardee's and a Chinese restaurant. Both of my kids have completed the food handler certifications. We all know that if any of us are sick, we shouldn't be serving food to people. The only thing that saves this place from a 1-star rating is that I still like their donuts. But they need to follow common-sense - and regulatory - guidelines about health and safety. So disappointed. read more

My favorite donut spot by far. But I don't just come here for the donuts. The chicken club on the Asiago Bagel is straight fire. Fresh ingredients, soft bagel with tons of flavor. It's $9 so a little pricey but what isn't pricey these days right? Plus they're independently owned so I don't mind. My only gripe is that the entrance is literally by a huge dumpster and the area is a lil runs down but it's good just wished it looked cleaner. What a great hole in the wall donut shop! I was recommended this place by one of my employees. So glad they open at 5am! I got there at 5:40am and it wasn't too crowded. They accept credit card which is a plus. I got 3 dozen donuts (2 dozen glazed and 1 dozen assorted) and it was roughly $42. Wow, the glazed donuts were big, soft and airy! Almost as good as Stan's! The store is quite tight and can probably fit around 6 people comfortably waiting in line but there are a lot of different variety of donuts that are aways fully stocked. They serve donuts, bagels and sandwiches to go. The wall is covered in pictures of different sandwiches that they offer. It kinda all looks like the same sandwich with subtle differences but I swear they have over 50+ different options and it can look a bit overwhelming. Please note that if you want to pay with credit card for purchased under $5, there is a service charge of 50¢. So bring cash for small orders. The glazed yeast donuts were pretty good. They weren't overly oily with pockets of grease or anything. The donuts were still a bit warm even though we purchased them after 9am. They were wonderfully pillowy and soft. The sugar glaze was even and delicious. Cake donut was alright. They did glaze the donut first before adding the pink frosting and sprinkles, so that was a nice touch. Let me just start by saying that Daily Donuts is way more than just a bagel store - their store is *literally* covered wall to wall with their menu, which ranges from breakfast sandwiches (on croissant, bagel, eng muffin, and cheese bread) to banh mi, burgers, even vietnamese plates! Also somewhat surprisingly, this place has escaped the slow tide of gradually increasing prices, keeping most of their breakfast sandwiches at the $5 point and offering your standard carafe coffee for a couple bucks more. I. Love. This. But what about their DONUTS!? They're amazing. they're great fresh and great the next day, so if there's a day-old bag at the front of the store with a donut you want, by all means get it! Their donuts are BEEFY, especially the apple fritter and the bear claw, which are ~$2.50 but are essentially a very heavy, sugary meal. Honestly no complaints here, other than from my coworkers who have to cut them in half. While it is a "regular" stop, service is incredibly prompt, thanks to the two firey Vietnamese ladies behind the counter. I love Daily Donuts! It's my go to spot to treat my staff of previously 100+ to now 50+ teachers. And you know, teachers love their food treats! I usually call when I wake up (5:30-6:00am) and they'll have my order ready within the hour or less! I usually order 4-5 dozen donuts now. Pre-pandemic, they would complete an order of 10 dozens and still have it ready in no time! I have 2 vegan staff, and more often than not, they'll have vegan blueberry donuts available. They go quick though! This location is always busy! However, they always pick up the phone. It's a little small and they limit 4-5 people inside. The line is always out the door, thank goodness! We have to keep Daily Donuts open and in business. The donuts are delicious and so are the donut holes, which they sometimes give for free. Our donuts are typically really fresh. I haven't had a complaint once. The assortment caters to everyone's cravings and the box is always empty by the end of the day. I have been meaning to try their sandwiches. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised for my first visit. Overall, a very positive experience with a friendly and attentive staff and so many offerings to choose from. However, I do I have one mild concern. Although they do have a sign out front that indicates that face coverings are required for entry--due to new county and state regulations--they do NOT enforce it. When I arrived, the storefront was full so I had to wait outside. No problem. However, much to my dismay, I saw four adult male customers in the shop in close quarters with no covering whatsoever. Not even a pulled up shirt. As people started to line up behind me to get in, they witnessed the same situation, but instead felt it unsafe to enter and ended up leaving. When I was finally able to enter, I did let the women in the front know what I saw and how they lost customers along the way as a result. Not sure if they didn't care or if they didn't understand me... but they didn't acknowledge me and even allowed another unmasked man to enter as I exited. Extremely friendly and quick service! The store is a little small, so I wasn't sure if I should wait outside while the customers ahead of me ordered. One of the staff kindly motioned me in so I could take a look at the donuts on display. I ended up getting an assortment to try. Their filled donuts are absolutely packed -- the custard filling in the maple bar in particular kept threatening to spill out. The blueberry cake donut was also perfectly soft, on par with the cake donuts I've tried from Stan's. I ordered a dozen donut holes but they tossed in a few extra. I'd definitely return again to try more of their donuts. The only one I wasn't quite sold on was the apple fritter, but I've come to learn I only really like warm apple fritters.
