I'm familiar with this donut chain and have always praised the quality products here. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu or behind the glass. I was hoping for a jalapeño bagel dog but they weren't available at the time so I went with a bacon wrapped dog today. It was more of a kolache which maybe that's what they call it here too. The dog was fresh and the bread was fluffy and noteworthy. My coworker likes strawberry cream cheese on a plain bagel. The thing is, strawberry cream cheese isn't on the menu. In a matter of minutes, the kind gentleman put together a strawberry cream cheese from scratch. WITH fresh strawberries inside. Above and beyond without missing a beat. Top tier service and quality food at an affordable price. You'd be crazy to drive past this place to go to another donut shop. read more

This place has fast service. I'm usually in and out in less than 5 min. Their doughnuts have tasted very fresh every time I've gone. They are light and airy. They have a Vietnamese iced coffee that is a little too sweet for my taste but they gladly adjusted the taste for me by adding extra milk. The employees are extremely friendly also. Finding this hole in the wall was one of the best things I did in 2024. I stopped by approximately a year ago while on my way to work. My very first coffee order made me a huge fan of this place. Their Vietnamese coffee will give you the jumpstart you need in the morning. Usually it's a hit or miss with coffee shops, but I've never had that issue with this place. It's always a hit here. I then went from trying their coffee to ordering off their food menu. I'm not a donut person, but I can vouch for their bagels with cream cheese and bagel sandwiches. As the reigning Donut Queen of the South Bay, I heartily endorse this donut shop. Which is why I'm there every week ... Did you know your taste buds change as you get older? Maybe that's not an actual scientific fact but it sure seems to be the case for me. Overly sweet pastries? Not for me any more. I don't want food that makes my teeth ache. Enter the Donut Basket. Not only are their donuts super fresh they're not covered in grease and sugar. My personal fave: the cinnamon roll. These things are enormous. They're light though so if you were a Donut Queen like me, you could probably eat an entire one. Over 3 hours. Runners up: the jelly and, believe it or not, the plain cake. I've been here 30+ times in the past couple of years, since I live close by. I like to eat the food at Heritage Park (has benches, a table, trash cans) just across the street. Service is always pretty good. Prices are between Starbucks and a diner for the same amount of food. Cleanliness was lacking this morning. The shop had flies swarming upon entry. Customer service was top notch and the cashier was very friendly but this place needs a visit from the health department. Dirty shelves and trays in the donut case. Nothing looked fresh. I ordered the jalapeño, cheese, ham croissant but upon inspection the dough didn't rise. Undercooked and goopy on the inside. I had it heated up by the really nice cashier. It was cold by the time I had it in my car. It was poorly made and had hard cheese on top. I definitely wouldn't say worlds best donut but it's by far on the higher end of donuts in the area. Good stop for people who want a bit more traditional donuts than Kripsy Kreme. Discovered this hidden gem of a donut shop after a visit to Stanford for a doctor's appointment. Despite its somewhat weathered appearance, we were pleasantly surprised by the deliciousness of their fresh donuts and the good customer service. Apple fritters are excellent. Crisp and glazed on the outside and soft on the inside. Donuts are done well too. Probably the best in Mountain View, IMO. This is an unpretentious, earnestly run donut shop. Seems like they also make sandwiches to order too. But the classic donuts are what keep me coming back. Was just looking for a regular old mom and pop donut shop close by. Came across this spot around the corner to satisfy my sweet tooth. This is a good change from the more popular chain donut shops that offer very little product for what you pay for. I got an apple fritter and glazed donut for very inexpensive. The croissants and apple fritters here are amazing! Super fresh and cheap. The fritters have a nice crispy exterior and fluffy interior. It's also HUGE- probably good for two breakfasts. The croissants are also gigantic and extremely fluffy. The donuts here are great as well- not so airy that one poke makes them sink like at Krispy Kreme's. Ahhh....I just had to write this one up right away. So I went into Donut Basket like 10 minutes ago. This was my desert after lunch around 12:45pm.....not a big place....you can see this gal making donuts....everything is out ready for the fryer. After looking around I decided to order a Glaze Donut and and Fancy Glaze Donut. It's been sometime since I had a donut....so I just had to eat it right away. First bite of the Fancy Glaze Donut ......first reaction was "YUM"....lite, fluffy, fresh and not too sweet but sweet enough. First bite of the Regular Glaze Dount....first reaction was "YUM".....also fresh and sweet but not too sweet. The Regular Glaze Donut was a little bit more doughy but good. Out of the two, my favorite was the Fancy Glazed because it was lite and fluffy and fresh. Oh....normally I've been paying close to a dollar for one donut....but not this place....both donuts were $1.40. So...good price, quick service, good food!! Yes!! Awesome place.
