I moved to this part of town almost 2 years ago and finally got the chance to check this place out cus i had a random craving for a lox bagel! It's on an everything bagel, and i asked to add capers, and remove the onion and tomato. the staff was kind to ask if i wanted cucumber instead and that validated the reviews ive seen about this family run business= its good !! This bagel sando hit the spot for $12.50 They dont have indoor seating and the space looks like it normally accommodates for that, so I hope they bring that back soon because it seemed like such a cozy space to sit down. read more

Stopped by after filling up gas next door as I didn't feel like making breakfast. Arrived around 7:10am on a Monday and there was no line. There were only about 20 bagels in the window. I asked if they were made fresh this morning, she said they were. Surprised the selection was so low. I ordered a toasted bagel with cream cheese. Within 1 minute I asked to change my order to just a toasted bagel, no cream cheese. The cashier told me she already started the cream cheese. I said ok and paid. My bagel wasn't ready yet. Then another minute later the toaster was done and she THEN spread cream cheese on my bagel. I felt this was deceitful in order to make a couple extra bucks. Bagel quality was fine. Cream cheese was fine. Lower stars for poor service interaction. Fyi there is nowhere to sit inside and less than $5 requires cash (the signs are not in direct line of sight for this). read more

I came here with my coworker on a Friday morning. When we got there, it wasn't busy. However, as we were waiting for our order, a few more customers came in. We ordered jalopeno bagels with cream cheese. They gave us our order promptly. The couple who was serving us was very nice. The bagels were delicious. I ordered an egg, bacon, and cheese croissant and a cappuccino. The croissant was a bit of a letdown, since you couldn't really taste the separate layers of the croissant and it was all mushed together in a greasy mess. Two stars is what I'd give. I'm really regret of coming here on weekends and ruined our mood and appetites. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches and a cold cup of chai. The bagel is surprisingly small and dense. It doesn't taste like house-made. Looking around there are so many things they bought from Costco and that got me wonder if they also get bagels from Costco too. The cheese wasn't even fresh. That was actually a bit disgusting. The chai is straight just a combination of Costco stuffs. They even sell these Costco-bought goods (milk, soy milk, water... etc) in the store. I'm surprised to see they use part y cups as the container for the cold drinks - it felt cheap. But the prices they charged for these kind of food weren't cheap at all. That Chai was even 5.25 (which on the menu said 4.5, felt like a scam). Upon checkout we found that the receipt showed 3 different grade of tips: 20%, 30%, 40%..... 40%??!?! I have never seen a shop/restaurant in the Bay Area that asks for 40% tips upfront, and do you really understand what kind of food and service deserves 40% tips...?! Sir, that is wayyyyy more than what you offered. (Of course I know this might be a mental trick to get you always give 20% tips, which in reality it only deserves 10% or 15%. ) Sigh, they could've done a better job to easily stand out since there's no clear winner for bagel shops in Mountain View. Solid bagel place. Friendly owners. Convenient parking. I came here around 10 AM on a Wednesday morning and I was their only customer. They have all the standard selections you would expect from a bagel shop: asiago, onion, sesame seed. Nothing out of the ordinary. The location of this place is super convenient for drivers as it's in the same plaza as the Safeway and Jack in the Box so you have your pick of parking. The shop is way more spacious inside than the outside lets on. Owners greeted me right away and were pleasant. The gentleman whipped up my bacon, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich in a jiffy while someone else rang me up. I was out of there in a few short minutes. My bagel seemed freshly made (still soft and doughy) and the egg was still warm when I finally got to eat it. It was also very neatly made which I appreciated! Best thing is it only set me back $3.99 and I didn't hate myself for eating it like I do sometimes after indulging in some greasy fast food breakfast gut bomb. If you are running out of time in the morning, this should be a good place to have a quick breakfast. Parking is huge there. The owner and his wife are very friendly and creating a welcoming atmosphere over there. Bagels are always fresh and they put lots of ingredients inside. I ordered lox bagel and that was delicious! The average price of one bagel 6-7$ and coffee for 3-4$. The coffee machines they are using are asking good. However, the interior is not that nice. Definitely was not made for cozy mornings. All guest are adhering to the social distancing so the owners are able to focus serving guest (To go). The options here are like any location (Strawberry, onion, blueberry, plain, wheat, white etc) while you can have it as a breakfast sandwich or lunch sandwich. Nice little bagel shop very convenient and close to where I work. I pick up bagels for the office about once every couple months, and the bagels are always super fresh and delicious! I end up eating one in the morning and one as a mid-morning snack with the cream cheese. They will slice your bagel in half for a small extra charge. The bagels are nicely crisp on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside, which is a great bagel in my book! And another cute thing about the place....check out the name! Awesome! LOL read more

LOVE these people. I volunteer for the local temple by leading a Sunday class for high schoolers on Sunday mornings, and lemme tell you... some of these Silicon Valley kids are super over extended in their commitments and have lots of activities (athletics, music, college apps, volunteering, etc), but they find time to [sometimes very sleepily] attend my class. My co-teachers and I try to reward them with a little morning pick me up, and my standby is always Regal Bagel Cafe. They're on my way to class, and I typically call ahead to put in my order, and they have it waiting for me when I arrive, exactly as I request - cut in half, in a box.
