    19A. Lox Bagel Sandwich

I was craving a really good lox bagel and came across this spot on Yelp. We ordered two bagel sandwiches and paid $18 and were very satisfied. Both had fresh ingredients and tasted great! It's a small locale with two employees on a Saturday morning. They had a few tables outside to sit and clearly a good customer base because by 8:15 AM, there was a group waiting for their food with us. There are plenty of trendy bagel spots nearby who will charge $15+ for a bagel which is ridiculous, I much rather come here! Support small businesses!

Convenient breakfast spot right off of Lawrence expressway with a broad menu of bagel sandwiches, other pastries, drinks and coffee. There's outdoor tables but otherwise just limited counter seating on thenin I ordered the ham and egg with spinach and mushroom on sesame bagel - which was surprisingly crunchy. The combo was pretty good and hit the spot. I also ordered the strawberry croissant - pretty much as you would expect. Meets the sweet tooth craving - the pastry is moist and crunchy on the outside. Great find - in an area where there's not a ton of breakfast options (the most important meal of the day) because I think many techies don't eat breakfast or wake up too late :) That's all.

Blueberry crunch bagel with jalapeño cream cheese (I know it sounds funky but honestly goes so well together)

The prices haven't changed much since I started coming around 3-4 years ago. Plus they are still generous with filling for sandwiches. I don't bother going anywhere else for breakfast sandwiches anymore! Blueberry crunch is my fave bagel here and the croissants are huge!!

I love the bagels and quality of the service. It's a small mom and pop bagel place. They have a good variety of sandwiches, bagels, cream cheeses, smoothies and coffee.

Found this place and it is honestly incredible. Everything is very fresh and handmade. The owners are very nice and make everything by hand. The avocados are fresh and so is the meat. It will definitely be back !

Had a sesame bagel with veggie cream cheese and it was so good. Perfectly toasted with just the right amount of cream cheese. Their bagels are delicious, best I've tasted.

The bagels here are so good and fresh and the costumers service was amazing can't wait to come back!!

Wanted to grab a quick bite before running some errands in the morning. I was craving bagels and this place came up that was nearby. It's a cute little spot in a plaza on Lawrence. The service was very nice and welcoming. I thought I was gonna get some bagels but I saw that they had crossaint sandwiches too, and I saw one with chorizo... I just had to try it. It was a great sandwich, very fresh and not a greasy. I will def be coming back here.

I love bagels so even though it was dinnertime, I chose to come here instead of the nearby food stores for a quick dinner before an event. Upon entering I saw they had a lot of different options on the menu, with pictures included so you could see what they looked like, which is so helpful and convenient especially since I had to take it to go. The lady working there was very nice too and made the food fast. I got an egg bagel with turkey, cream cheese, and egg (yes, it was absolutely delicious)! I also got some milk on the side and it was an awesome dinner, would totally come back!

Bagels in the middle of nowhere. This is a family run joint. They do their best and my smoked salmon sandwich bagel was good. They gave a decent amount of onions and cream cheese. Would come again.

11A. Sausage, Egg & Cheese on onion bagel

Work cafe was closed so I decided to satiate my bagel craving somewhere else. Found this spot nearby and was enticed by the single $ sign on Yelp. Store is located right off Lawrence expwy, with ample parking. Shop itself is small, like many cafes... but it had a good assortment of drinks, coffees, and of course bagels! First off, I appreciate a variety of bagels and also when the menu is simplified to a handful of combinations with slight variations. Ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese on an onion bagel. Waited barely 5-10 mins and my food was ready. CAUTION: being freshly prepared, it was piping hot! Flavors and textures were good, with no hint of aging ingredients from what I could tell. Overall great food at a decent price. Support your local business!

Stopped by because I needed a quick eat 10 minutes before an appointment, and bagel place cafe was a couple doors down! Small and cozy cafe as I expected, with a few bar stools for seating. Plenty of tables outside to sit and eat. Service was quick and she helped me out right away. I ordered a BLT bagel sandwich which was cleanly wrapped to-go. Tomatoes and lettuce were fresh, bacon crispy, and sesame bagel complimented it. I scarfed it down within 5 minutes, and it was the most perfect late lunch for that day. I'll stop by if i'm ever in that area!

The Corn Cheese Bloom bagel is filled with corn, Kewpie mayo, scallions, and mozzarella. They dip it in Bloom Butter, which is honey and garlic butter, and top it with mozzarella. I almost didn't order it because corn on a bagel didn't sound too appetizing, but I'm glad I did because it was my favorite of the two. The Classic Bloom bagel is simply filled with cream cheese, dipped in Bloom Butter, and topped with mozzarella. While it was good, it had a little too much cream cheese. I removed most of it and enjoyed the bagel much more. The two bloom bagels were big enough to eat for both breakfast and lunch. I would have ate a third one for dinner if I had one. Can't wait to go back.

There's plenty of free parking in the lot of the complex, but no indoor seating. The line when we went was long, but moved very quickly. You order at the counter and can pickup at the bar. There's not much space indoors, but the ambiance can be described as clean and efficient. In terms of the food, the garlic asiago bloom and jalapeno bloom was tasty - good ratio of cream to bread, but the best was the chili oil scallion bloom if you like a more spicy flavor. All the bagels had a sweet aftertaste and were a bit expensive, but overall were worth the hype. The drinks, on the other hand, weren't worth the money. The Strawberry Dubai Chocolate Latte just tasted like chocolate milk with a hint of strawberry and the banana matcha was a little watery. However, this place is a must try at least once if you want to try an aesthetic bloom bagel.

If you're chasing flavored bagels and creative schmears with a softer chew, I'd still send you to Izzy's. Nahita Bakery operates a humble storefront with large glass display cases showing off their delicious baked goods, fried pastries, and stewed meats and vegetables. As a first timer, it was a feast for hungry eyes! We came in on a weekday afternoon and were hankering for a snack before dinner. The staff welcomed us in and gave us a quick introduction to their offerings. My mouth was already salivating at the sight of the golden brown pastries and at the mention of olives and cheese, I was committed! We ended up getting a coupe of their items including achmas (pastry made with sweetened dough) and pogaca (pastry made with buttery dough) - one filled with olives and one with the feta cheese. We also got a borek (pastry made with phyllo dough) with ground beef and asked to be cut up so it can be shareable. The olive achma was fragrant and soft when torn into. The olives were flavorful and distributed well within the bun. The feta cheese pogaca was flavorful and was layered into bun. I think it would have tasted even better warmed but it was delicious nonetheless. The distribution of the cheese could have been better to better fill my mouth with those flavors. The borek was a star but too heavy for one person to eat. The fried dough was crispy and paired with the ground beef made for a hearty snack to go with something warm to drink. The other pastries and entrees looked good and although we didn't have the stomach space for it this time, we know we will be back when we are in the area to try something new. Perhaps we will get to try their coffee next time! Overall, Nahita Bakery does an amazing job bringing their Turkish culture through food to the South Bay. Their quality of work is shown in the food's presentation, ingredients, and flavors and the clean open dining space elevates the dining experience here whether you're in for breakfast, lunch, a snack, or dinner. Their large parking lot shared by other small businesses is fantastic for those looking to get in and out on some errands. If you haven't had a chance to try some Turkish pastries, you are in for a treat at Nahita Bakery!
