The borek here is phenomenal. The mezes were great. The pogacha was fine. The simit was nice and chewy. I know like they pre-sliced everything for ease of sharing. But the menemen was a poor show. Way too eggy, not enough tomato. Service was fine. They made sure the tea was always present. However, I don't know how we're supposed to ask for more pida bread besides just stopping who I presume is the owner and asking for more. Additionally some of the chairs were heavily stained. Which is a shame because the tables themselves were clean. The wait here is long, if you're curious and don't care for bread and tea, then preorder.

OMG, we have not been here for a year and this place has changed so much.. I'm a good way! When we were here a year ago the place was quiet and unassuming but now, the restaurant has expanded taking over the bubble tea space next door and despite the huge space, it was packed! The food was even better and fresh with the crowd and turnover. Inside was comfy and amazingly not loud at all! Too bad we live in Dublin else will be here more often! They charged $3.45 for a cup of Turkish tea but with free refill. Highly recommended for their bakery, borek was freshly baked and delicious!

Parking is not an issue which makes visiting easy. That said, lines can get long depending on the time of day and day of the week. We visited on a Sunday morning and waited about 15-20 minutes, but it was well worth it. We ordered Nahita's Special Breakfast Plate and chose menemen as our special and spinach borek. It was absolutely amazing, comforting, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The borek was flaky, fresh, crispy and delicious. One of the biggest highlights is their unlimited tea option (paid upfront). Having freshly brewed tea available throughout the meal is a huge plus and really completes the experience. We ended breakfast on a sweet note with pistachio and walnut baklava (each), which were rich, fresh, and the perfect way to wrap up the meal. Overall, they offer great food, a welcoming setup, and an authentic Turkish breakfast experience. Even with the wait, it's absolutely worth a visit.

A little neighborhood bakery that's expanded quite a bit. They have traditional Turkish breads and baklava and a rotating option of desserts including portifores and rice pudding. Also have a few breakfast options like shaksuka and traditional Turkish plates of various items. The vibe is very cool with families and friends gathering for breakfast and lunch. They do have one dish a day but it's prepared so wasn't too appealing for me. Order at the counter and wait for your dishes to come. Get the tea and /or coffee and chill.

I came for breakfast with a friend around 9am on a three day weekend Monday, and just happened to get there before the morning rush it seems. You order at the front first, and some items are given to you at the counter after paying, and you bring a number to a table of your choosing in the dining room for the other dishes to be brought out to you. There were many other groups who enjoyed a leisurely meal and it seems people are welcome to take their time and stay for quite a while. Our food was brought to our table almost immediately as we were sitting down, and we were shown that the tea was self serve against one of the walls. It's bright, warm and welcoming inside, with plenty of tables to pick from that are spaced far enough to give you space to enjoy your meal. We got the Nahita Special, which the menu states is meant for two people - it's definitely a lot of food so I think it could easily feed 3, if not 4 less hungry people. We wanted to try the Cilbir eggs, but unfortunately it wasn't available that day, so we opted for the Menemen/Shakshuka instead, which unfortunately was a little more watery/bland that we expected. I really enjoyed the Simit and platter of cheeses, honey, jam, and cucumber/tomato that it came with. The borek with beef was heavier and oilier than it looked, and we weren't able to finish it - it could definitely be enough for a breakfast on its own, and I wonder if the spinach version might be a bit more balanced. The pogacha provided on the platter was filled with olives, which was surprising since that wasn't one of the fillings on the menu for the pogacha, and we wish we could've selected one with a different filling. Finally, the unlimited self serve turkish black tea was excellent to go with the breakfast! I'll definitely be back either with more friends or choose a smaller plate next time now that I've had a chance to sample many things from the special!

We've been regular customers of Nahita since well before their multiple expansions. The food and service remain as good as ever. The larger space allows more people to enjoy their wonderful food and baked goods. We usually get the Nahita Special, which includes an assortment of breads and baked goods along with spreads, olives and veggies, the egg dish of your choice, and tea. We love bringing friends and family here so they can experience our favorite breakfast and brunch spot!

Nahita's Bakery is a casual cafe with a small storefront that opens into a surprisingly expansive dining area. The ample seating, self-serve Turkish tea, and generous portions -- the "for two" special easily feeds three -- make it a great brunch spot to linger and chat with good company. The food is impressively plated with individual small ramekins for a soft creamy cheese, a crumblier and saltier cheese, olives, jam, honey and kaymak cream mix, sujuk Turkish spiced sausage, and sliced cucumber and tomatoes. The wide variety of condiments covered the range of flavors from the briny olives, umami-packed sujuk and tomatoes, bright and fruity jam, sweet honey, and Turkish tea that you dilute to your preferred level of bitterness. However I did think that the jam was a little watery and could have been set firmer with more pectin. The honey was on the astringent side, so do mix it will with the kaymak cream to round it out. Four different types of pastries that served as a canvas for all these condiments. The toasted sesame seeds on the simit bagel gave each bite a roasty note and satisfying crunch, and paired with the creamy cheese. The pogacha cheese bun was softer and pillowy, which contrasted nicely with the crumblier cheese. The spinach börek has light, flaky layers that must be served very warm for the layers to not collapse and become dense. On our first visit we were lucky to have it fresh from the oven, cut and served to us right at the counter. On our second visit it was reheated but not quite enough and the difference showed. The highlight was the çılbır poached eggs with pida flatbread. Despite the fiery-looking bright red seasoned oil, the dish was actually gently seasoned. The pida bread on its own is hard and chewy but worked well for dipping in the yogurt and liquid yolk. The wide variety of pastries and condiments make this a great option for breakfast with a group. It's a real treat especially if you happen to arrive just as a fresh batch comes out of the oven.

Finally went with my husband and daughter to try Nahita's Bakery's Turkish breakfast. We got the Nahita's Special for 2. We were very pleasantly surprised. The spinach borek was so tasty, the sesame simit very light. The cheeses and cream, jam were delicious on the different breads. Everything was great- eggs, vegetables. We also enjoyed the self serve tea. Nice ambiance and service good. Our daughter is already requesting to go back.

Had a lovely breakfast at Nahita Bakery -- super cozy spot with some standout dishes. We got the poached eggs, which were perfectly cooked and served with a really flavorful sauce and fresh bread to soak it all up. Simple but so satisfying. Also tried the börek, and it was buttery, flaky, and filled just right. Definitely a comfort food vibe, but still felt light. The Turkish coffee was strong and smooth -- bold without being bitter. Great way to finish the meal. Everything felt thoughtfully made and not rushed. Would totally come back to try more of their pastries.

Everything is good, however they increased the prices, but the service still on the same level. Sometimes you can feel they are shortstaffed. Didn't like their tipping policy

We had Nahita's special. It is more than enough for 2 people. We ate with 3 people and ordered additional borek and simit when our 4th friend coming. It was delicious. We choose menemen eggs with tomatoes. You choose with sausage. Nahita's special comes with 2 teas. Even when you order tea, you get unlimited refills. Service is great. Indoor dining only. You can sense diverse culture coming and having breakfast and chat with their friends and family. Ton of parking available at the plaza's parking.

This review is solely for service and I personally love the food here and I have been a costumer since this place was just a little kitchen with two ladies and a guy in it. Am really happy that Nahita has grown drastically from the past two years and love to see such a good food being served and noticed, however, you guys need to really work on your costumer service like people are rude working there! First, we came in on Saturday for breakfast and there was no signs on what to do and what not to do. We walked in, found a table for our group and started looking at the menu. 10 min later we asked to get more seats for our friends and the waitress said oh you need to have a reservation and also u need to stand in line order food, get a number then sit. We were surprised because no signs saying that, and no one at the door was telling us to do that so we will not just assume we had to do that. Besides, when we walked in there was no line!! However, the guys went to order while we women sat waiting, the head staff was looking curiously at us for few minutes then came by and said why you guys don't have a number on the table. I told him our husbands are placing the order, he said well u should wait outside and once u have a number you sit. I mean we had babies and stroller and so much to carry around at that moment he could of said it in a nice way. My husband on the other side tried to order from the lunch menu that starts at 12 or something and it was already 12 and the cashier said we don't serve this until 2 pm so my husband said but it says here at 12 and the cashier said I TOLD YOU AT 2. He didn't say sorry or anything... I mean I really understand the culture this bakery is coming from but here if u want to do business your culture should be altered to fit on the international standards of good hospitality and management.

The place was situated in a quiet plaza just outside of Lawrence Expressway. There's ample parking but it doesn't feel like the location is suitable for a cafe where you can picture sitting inside looking through some big windows facing a busy pedestrian walkway. However, once I stepped inside, I was surprised at how zen and peaceful the decorations were and how fitting it was for a cozy and quiet cafe hangout. The cake shelf was surprisingly busy. And this is where I took one star out because the lines were confusing and the staff skipped me to talk to the group behind me while I was clearly the next to be helped. Luckily another staff member came out from the back kitchen and jumped in to help. The staff spoke fluent mandarin. I was interested in their box cakes. A few of the yelpers raved about their soy milk cake and luckily they had one out for sampling. It was covered with lots of cream and the cake layer was soft and moist, but it was still slightly too sweet for me and I felt that it lacked the tofu kind of soy flavor. Then, I spotted on their menu that they have a black sesame matcha box cake, and black sesame is always my favorite, so I asked for it. They had the last one left! The staff said she had never tried it so she couldn't tell me if it is less sweet than the soy milk cake. Since it was the last one available and I already sampled the soy cake, I decided to give it a try. I am happy that I did. The cake was filled with matcha mousse and tasted light and aromatic with the jasmine kind of matcha flavor. It is definitely less sweet. Unfortunately, it doesn't have as much black sesame as I'd like. But overall, the cake flavor is the kind that I like, subtle, moist, and not too sweet. $38 for a box cake of 4x4 is a bit pricey, but I'm glad that I gave it a try. The cakes were freshly made and tasted best the same day of purchase. They also recommend refrigerating the cake and consuming it within a day or two.

I kept seeing posts about whaT's More cake's persimmon cakes, so I decided to give them a try. I preordered the persimmon molten cake and the persimmon crepe cake through their website. The online ordering process was smooth, and both cakes were ready right on time for pickup. Unfortunately, the persimmon molten cake was disappointing. While I appreciated that it wasn't overly sweet, it was very mild in flavor. It tasted more like a simple sponge cake with a persimmon filling in the center, and overall, it felt quite underwhelming. In contrast, the persimmon crepe cake was much better. Each layer had persimmon cream and jam, which gave it a stronger and more pronounced persimmon flavor without being overly sweet. Overall, it's a cute cake shop worth checking out if you're looking for unique flavors in the South Bay. Parking: Plenty of parking available in the lot.

Don't sleep on the black pepper sausage danish: the croissant dough is crisp and flaky, and doesn't get soggy when baked around the sausage. It's comparable in execution to the Croissant Hot Dog served at Dominique Ansel Las Vegas (in Caesar's Palace), but at a way more accessible price point. Which isn't to say this place is cheap; like many artisanal bakeries in California, it comes with a premium price tag, but at least it's not Dominique Ansel pricy. Croissante's croissant dough baked goods (viennoiserie) is pun-intended "proof" that you get what you pay for. The dining space is limited and lively. Conversing is a little tough, but if you just need a place to sit while eating, it's just right. Extra special shout out this time to Dill who had informed me the fried chicken dishes today would be an hour and a half wait. After deciding there wasn't anything I wanted more than the Fried Chicken and Spiced Croffle (croissant dough baked in a waffle iron) and was happy to wait, they were nice enough to check in with the kitchen and see if it could be made sooner than that. I didn't expect to be accommodated, so I was happy they were able to do that. You get two chicken thighs and croffles per order. It's enough for two light eaters to share.

I usually get the same item at Basquia Bakery: Korokke, a Korean style fried bread with a crispy panko exterior, filled with savory mash potatoes. For $3, it's a good deal for a snack. Some of Basquia Bakery's baked goods are not labeled so I would have totally overlooked their Korean mochi bread if it weren't for TikTok. Last fall, Korean sweet potato mochi bread (goguma ppang) went viral. For months, the commercial frozen ones were sold out at Korean markets. The supply has since been replenished (along with frozen kimbap) but if you can't commit to an entire bag like myself, then this is for you. Plus, this may be the only bakery in NorCal selling freshly made Korean mochi bread. M E N U Along with mochi bread, Basquia Bakery sells cakes (slice + whole), roll cakes, fruit tarts, cream puffs, bread, buns, k corn dogs, etc. For drinks, they have non-caffeinated lattes (e.g. black sesame and beer). M O C H I B R E A D Available in pairs ($4) or a variety box of the five flavors ($9). I went with the latter. Visited Saturday morning around 9:45 am and the had about a 50% supply left. Can we talk about how adorable these are?! The mochi bread is shaped based on their flavors. The mochi "bread" is mochi with a chewy exterior filled with a mashed filling. This is my personal preference but I like mochi that has more of an elastic, bouncy QQ chew which this didn't quite have. The texture did improve after air-frying the leftovers. Flavors: * Sweet Potato // 4 stars Looks and tastes exactly like the real deal with sweet, fluffy mashed interior but hits different with the slight gelatinous chew. Tip: Eat this with kimchi. It's adds a delicious tang and heat to contrast the natural sweetness. * Corn // 4 stars Enjoyed the creamy corn filling with kernels for texture. * Potato // 4 stars Savory, creamy mashed potatoes. I wanted to pair this with a steak. Lol. * Chestnut // 4 stars I love roasted chestnut but this has cinnamony, chocolatey notes from the dusting of cocoa powder + cinnamon. There were chunks of roasted chestnut. * Kabocha // 3 stars Again, tasted like the real deal but too sweet for me. Overall, glad I tried this cute novelty at Basquia Bakery. I'm now convinced to buy a bag of the commercial frozen ones, yanno for taste test comparison purposes. ;)

The mini almond pastry was really good and also got a crème brûlée which was really good as well. I would come back again and try their hot teas next time. Delicious treats. Good upscale vice a nice place to catch up with friends!!!

However, the cake was a bit dry, and the red bean in the filling was undercooked and on the hard side. I liked how light the cake was, and the whipped cream filling, and likely came on an off day. -Chocolate Roll Cake w/Pudding Filling: The chocolate cake was more moist than the matcha, and I liked the chocolate flavor, which was present but not too strong. The pudding and whipped cream filling were good, but I didn't think they quite went with the chocolate cake. All the ingredients seemed very fresh and quality, and I would come back to give their fruit desserts a try. No seating is available. Parking was easy to find since this small plaza had plenty of spots.
