Chicken adana wrap & French fries
    Sarah W.

Got a chicken adana wrap and it was quite tasty! I like the sauce that comes on the side as well. On the menu there was a side of salad and a side of fries, unfortunately I only got the side of fries which was a bit disappointing. However, it looked like there was only one person working in the entire restaurant so I know he was doing his best. The restaurant is cute and has nice music playing. Would give it another shot someyime

I came here for lunch with my girlfriend. The customer service and food was amazing. Nice little restaurant full of flavors and love. My girlfriend ordered the Mixed Grilled Kebab. I ordered the Grilled Salmon. We shared French fries. All of it was 5 stars. Full of rich flavors. The customer service was great. Everyone was so kind and attentive.

I originally opened their Yelp page back when they were just a food truck, and I even left them a great review. So when I saw a restaurant pop up with the same name, I honestly thought they had expanded. Nope -- totally different story. And I definitely needed to update my review. The quality now is nothing like what it used to be. The döner tasted like a store-bought cone, and it was sliced way too thick -- basically like steak strips. I even came home smelling like kebab because the whole place was super smoky and greasy. The restaurant just feels like a very low-quality Mediterranean spot now. We tried the döner and the Adana, and neither tasted anywhere close to what they're supposed to. I really miss the food truck days.

My colleagues had good things to say about this place. Came here for lunch. I got the Chicken Adana Wrap. The food was ready fairly quickly. The kebab was tender and very flavorful. The lavash bread complemented the taste. Service was very friendly. Will definitely come back to try more things.

Zennup Mediterranean offers vibrant Turkish flavors in a humble strip mall restaurant. We sat outside and started with the Meze Platter, which came with grainy hummus, baba ganoush, tzatziki, and dolmas, accompanied by soft pita bread. The Falafel Plate came with seven small spiced chickpea fritters, along with hummus and a salad of lettuce, pickled red cabbage, tomato, and a grilled pepper. But the best dish was the Mixed Grill Kebab, which came with each of their meat selections: chicken adana (ground spiced chicken thigh), lamb adana (ground lamb with red pepper), chicken shish, kofte (ground lamb and beef patties), and doner (layered lamb and beef sliced from a rotating spit), along with salad and a flavorful rice pilaf. My favorite meats were the chicken and lamb adana kebabs, which had a nice caramelized exterior and slightly spicy flavor. Though not the best Turkish food I've had in the area, this was definitely a solid find!

A group of us decided to try out this place before heading to league. We got there around 545 and the restaurant was pretty busy. This is a pretty small cozy spot. Our server Ari was really nice. He took well care of us. Now for the food, I ordered the mixed grill plate, babba ganoush, everything was excellent. Seasoned well and rice was perfectly cooked/seasoned. Salad was fresh! We also got some lavish to go with it. The dessert kûnefe was very delicious. Warm cheese with a like sweetness and crushed pistachio with a side of ice cream. I could eat this all day if I wasn't a diabetic. Parking was easy.

My brother-in-law and I came to this restaurant to eat doner. Even though we arrived early, they had already started their preparations. They told us it would be ready in about 15 minutes, and we agreed to wait. While waiting, they kindly brought us complimentary Turkish dolma and even slices of the cooked doner meat. After tasting that meat, I already knew the doner itself was going to be delicious. I've tried Turkish dolma in many restaurants before, but I never enjoyed it enough to finish it. This was the first time I actually liked it from the very first bite and ended up eating all of it. The complimentary dishes were a very thoughtful gesture. The doner itself was excellent. I haven't had doner this good in a long time. On top of that, the restaurant and the workers were extremely clean and professional. Cleanliness is my number one priority, and they truly impressed me in that regard. Now I know exactly where to go whenever I crave doner.

My friends and I decided to try this new hole in the wall in Sunnyvale and we were not disappointed. The place is small with around 30 seats but has a very nice cozy ambiance. The food is really fresh and perfectly seasoned, not salty at all. I ordered a Mixed Kabobs Plate split with a friend. The kabobs have the nice amount of grill marks and char which enhance the flavor. The rice served is lightly seasoned so is the lightly vinaigrette tossed salad. For $22, the portion is pretty big and filling. Overall I would come back again 10/10.

I enjoyed the kofei plate / sandwich. Think al pastor with the meat on a spit. Open for lunch and dinner late. Definitely get the sauce and spicy. Lots of parking.

    Baklava

Whether you are looking for a great dinner spot or just a world-class dessert, this place is well worth the visit. It is rare to find baklava that was perfectly executed. The layers of phyllo were incredibly crisp and light, while the pistachio filling was rich, nutty, and vibrant. It provided a sophisticated, satisfying finish to a fantastic meal.

Must try Iskender kebap . Adana is also a must try. Total hidden gem !! I highly recommend to anyone looking for real Turkish food made with love

We have been coming to this restaurant twice. The first time we came with our friends, we liked it very much. The second time we came, we liked it even more. the food is very delicious the customer service is very good and friendly First, I ordered red lentils, then a mixed plate, and my friend ordered Adana kebab. The food was delicious. The place is in a quiet location, and you won't have any trouble finding a parking space. I definitely recommend tasting the food here.thank you :)

I can't get away from their home made yogurt dishes which goes so well with the fresh bread. It's always a task to not over do it with appetizers because it's always so good. We also had the octopus which was super tender and had that charred taste. We tried the artichoke heart with prawns dish and it was good, but I don't know if I'd order it again (I would probably want to explore more of the menu). I had the Chilean Seabass for an entree and it was rich and full of flavor. We ended the night with some baklava and they gave us a little scoop of ice cream to top off the celebratory dinner. We'll definitely be back!

Between the 4 of us we got a half falafel wrap and the kebab plate. First of all I want to say that if you want the vegetarian food there is a separate station for it; that was a little confusing and the person at the cash register didn't tell me so I gave my ticket to the grill section not knowing. It's good on a sense because you know the kitchen isn't mixing meat and veggies for the vegetarian people. The kebab plate was very good and flavorful! There was 4-5 different veggies they added to the dish and a super creamy hummus, which I'll never complain about. The meat seemed like regular good quality hamburger that was thrown on the grill. The star of the dish was the pita bread strangely it was super soft, moist and very chewy 4/5* The half falafel seemed a little underwhelming to me; the falafels were made fresh by the lady, but she gave me 3 small falafels maybe the size of a half dollar? (How many people know what those look like now?) And a piece of cauliflower. Unfortunately they weren't as crispy as I would have liked and a little more on the soggy side. 3.5/5* The tables of the venue were a little on the sticky side, I don't think it's from someone spilling a drink or food, they're just sticky... This place is nestled in an industrial neighborhood and is probably really booming during the work week. We arrived around 1PM and there was a larger party of maybe 12 and another party of 4 and us...party of 9. There is patio seating and plenty of indoor seating. There was plenty of parking as they have a parking lot dedicated to their restaurant. Their menu is substantial. All the usual suspects of falafel, kufta, chicken and beef kabobs, humus & pita, etc. We ordered the following: 1. Sword fish plate: which was served with rice and vegetables. The fish was perfectly grilled and a great sized filet. 2. Falafel pita & falafel plate: the pita came with fries the plate came with veggies and rice. Both of the guests of our party that ordered these were quite happy with their order. 3. Beef kabob: these were large cubes of beef, that were seasoned well and grilled perfectly. You get a full skewer on a bed of rice and a side of vegetables. 4. Kufta kebob: which I ordered, and it was a large sized kabob that was bursting with flavor and juicy. On a bed of rice and a side of veggies. I wish they served basmati rice or a long grain rice and that the veggies were just grilled without the sauce. I felt the tomato sauce it was covered it overpowered the natural flavors of the array of veggies on the plate. 5. My mom ordered a 3pc lamb chops plate, and it typically comes over a bed of fries, but we substituted it for rice, and it came with the same side of veggies as the rest of ours. She said it was good and the size of the chops was decent. 6. I got there kind of late so the first half of our party ordered appetizers that we didn't get to try but I ordered an order of fried calamari and I must say my favorite part was what I think was a kalamata olive aioli. It was delicious! Will need to replicate at home. All in all, we were pleased and left satisfied and more importantly full. I'm sure we will be back!

I tried some of the swordfish and it had a nice light flavor, quite tender and very nice. I've also gotten the grilled branzini before, which is a whole entire fish. Warning that you may need to use your hands to eat this directly lol I really enjoyed this dish too! When we arrived, they mentioned we could sit anywhere we wanted. There was both indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outdoors so it was a tad warm but they provide shade. There is a tent as well with a plastic surrounding but as for any restaurant with these plastic surroundings, I always find the plastic smell so strong and offputting, so we sat at the tables instead where they have umbrellas providing a lot of shade. We sat next to a bougainvillea bush which also provides us shade and some entertainment as little birds hopped back and forth inside the bush and then out of it to nearby tables, looking for food. So cute! Parking can be found in the lot behind the restaurant, but the entrance is still found around the other side of the building, on the side of the outdoor seating. You can also park on the side of the street in front of the restaurant, but there's less shade. We arrived at a 3pm on a Friday with almost no one else there, so once our whole party was present we got service immediately. The food takes some time to cook but as mentioned, it's delicious. When we walked in, there were only a few customers inside eating. There are in a large open space with plenty of tables for dining inside. We approached the counter to look at the menu. We were greeted by an employee before placing our order. I decided to go with the doner kebab wrap and my husband ordered the steak shawarma wrap. We picked our topping while our wrap was being built. All the veggie ingredients looked very fresh. The wraps also came with a cup of lentil soup. We paid and found a table to sit at. My husband's steak shawarma was very good. He really liked the flavors and the steak. He got tahini on the side and a peri peri hot sauce. He liked both. The lentil soup was good. My sandwich was not good. The doner kebab meat was very dry and hard like jerky. This meat was not freshly made. It's as if it had been sitting there way too long and was just getting reheated all day. It was hard to chew and swallow. I was so disappointed with the quality of the meat. This was the complete opposite experience I had at the location on Coleman in San Jose. Their doner kebab was soft and moist. I will most likely not come back to this location again. I went up to the counter to let an employee know, the quality of the doner kebab was not good and should not be served to customers. I just got a blank stare from the employee, like he didn't know what to do or he didn't really care. To me, that's just bad customer service and terrible that they would be okay with serving old dried up meat like that, putting customers health at risk of getting sick. We will not be returning to this location ever again.
