My friends and I came here for dinner on a Monday evening. It wasn't very busy, so we were able to order quickly and get a seat. Food: I ordered the fettuccine alfredo and the soup of the day which was a split pea soup. The soup was pretty good. The pasta was pretty standard. My friends ordered one savory crepe and one sweet crepe. They also ordered the french toast and a side of scrambled eggs. They enjoyed their food. Service: We were able to order the counter pretty quickly. We were given a table number and sat down. Our food came out promptly as each item was ready. TL;DR - Fast service with decent food

Egg was kind of hard and a lot of oil coming out of it. The flavors on the potato was good but not crispy enough. I do like that you pay before you eat and you can choose anywhere to sit. Good quick bite if you want to eat outdoors on a nice day. Probably won't come again though.

I ordered the Siena Crepe with added nuts and coconut shavings for an extra dollar. It was exceptional as far as crepes go. The edges were crispy and the crepe was filled with strawberries and bananas that paired wonderfully with the generous spread of nutella. The only main con was that the crepe came out to $20 after tax and tip which seems too steep for something you can whip up just as easily yourself. The strawberries they used weren't even completely ripe yet so they were somewhat sour. The service was fine. The ambiance was casual.

Every time I come here, I'm always happy with whatever I order. The line moves quickly, and their sandwiches are seriously so good. My favorites are the club sandwich and the spicy chicken sandwich. The bread is amazing, the mimosas and coffee are great, and the fries are perfect. The service is always solid, too. For me, this place is a 10/10 for breakfast, brunch, and even lunch. The only thing that feels a bit strange is seeing the exact same menu at dinnertime. It's still good, but it just doesn't feel like a dinner spot.

This place is a safe choice when it comes to brunch, the chilaquiles were super cheesy and saucy, maybe too cheesy.. but definitely flavorful. It came with avocado and sour cream which was a nice touch. The buttermilk pancakes were good however I prefer their almond flour pancakes. These were a little dense compared to most buttermilk pancakes. This place has you order food and then seat yourself, so make sure you review the menu before walking through the door as it can get busy. They also have menus available on the wall, the space feels cozy yet open with high ceilings. They offer outdoor seating, which is a must when the weather is nice. When we had an issue with our order, the server was sure to correct it in a timely manner, he was very pleasant. Not to mention the food always comes out pretty quick.

It's been a long long minute since I've been here, it's good to see that the service and food is as good as it was 5 years ago if not better. I ordered the Philly crêpe with their crispy fries. "Also comes with a salad" Wifey ordered the fresh salmon crêpe with the potatoes. My Philly was super delicious, the steak melted in my mouth and the caramelized onions with the mushrooms and cheese just put it over the top. The fries are nicely seasoned, crispy, and tender in the inside. Wifey also loved the salmon crêpe and her potato's had a nice hint of rosemary flavor. Bottom line: I really liked this place years ago and I still do. These guys serve consistently good food and the service matches the food. Good job Crepevine!

Its an amazing place with interior and exterior seating in the heart of downtown moutain view. Highly recommend for a family friendly spot & some delicious savory and sweet options. Veg and non-veg friendly place. Great staff and service. First come first serve and dont take reservations but lines move pretty fast.

This is our go-to brunch spot in Mountain View. The wrap added to the menu was quite delicious. After the savory items, we also ordered a waffle (I forgot to take a photo), which was very good as well. The staff regularly refilled our coffee. Even though this place gets very busy, I think both the food quality and the service are quite good for such a crowded spot.

Crepevine Mountain View is a great low-stress brunch spot. Went around noon and there was barely any crowd, so we had no waiting at all. Setup is easy: you order at the counter first, then choose indoor or outdoor seating. Both options are available, and the space is comfortable. What we ordered: * Crepes: Tri Berry and Sunset (Nutella, strawberry, banana). Both came with whipped cream + ice cream and tasted great. * Blackstone: grilled onion, avocado, poached egg, hollandaise on an English muffin with fries. Solid brunch item. * Garlic fries: also really good. Service was fast, ambience is nice, and there are big tables, so it works for families or friends too. I'd definitely recommend checking it out.

They have different types of crepes - savory and sweet. For savory crepes / sandwiches, they're all close to $20 with some types of protein. Overall their food is pretty good, however it's overpriced, and service has gone downhill a lot. About half of their salads on the menu don't come with protein and are already $17. Adding meat brings the salad to over $23 without tax. If you get a non-alcoholic beverage, with tax and tips, expect to spend almost $30 for just for a salad with protein and a regular beverage. After being here a few times, service is hit or miss, depending on who you get. We had to ask for at least 3-4 times to our waiter for a glass of iced water. When nothing was brought to us, we also went inside to the counter to ask and was told they'll bring it out. Finally after asking for 6 times, then they bring out what we need. It's very annoying it took forever for such a simple ask. In addition, their staff don't pay much attention. I've seen waitresses just brought out the food without looking around carefully for the table number and then just went back inside. The food gets cold easily when they go back-and-forth with the food like this. Their staff don't seem to care and just do the minimum to get paid. They do have a nice outdoor seating area, especially at a corner lot. Castro is closed off, so it's comfortable to sit outside with nice weather.

*Excellent Food* I ordered Huevos Rancheros, Capri pasta, and a cappuccino. Everything was very flavorful. I definitely recommend both options whether you're feeling for breakfast or lunch. Customer service was great too. They kept checking up on the table asking if we needed anything. I think the Capri (linguini and meatballs) is the best pasta I've tasted in a while.

It's been some time since i've had Crepevine and honestly I feel like it's popularity has surged since. Recently had lunch with some friends in the area and we were surprised the line was out the doors and the tables were packed. Their seating situation is also unique, you wait in line and are handed a menu to look over while a server asks you how many are in your party to properly prepare a table while you're making your way to the front. A lot of their tables are reconfigurable and so we were able to snag a table outside away from the inner buzziness. I had ordered their Country Grub which came with a Side Salad, Country Potatoes and a Savory Crepe filled with Soy Chorizo, Cheese, Bell Peppers, Avocados, and onions. Also ordered a Morning Bliss smoothie that had Strawberries and Banana. (Take note, they use Paper Straws, if that matters to you, def drink it faster) I had asked for a side of ranch and it was definitely house made since there was a hint of dill in it and I don't know many places that do that. Their portions are also huge so it might be a good idea to split a dish as I had to take mine to go. Which made for a good breakfast meal the next day. The service is also on top of things, getting us seated as fast as they could then being vigilant like a hawk refilling any drinks we had and removing plates here and there when they could. For a place that was really busy during lunch time too on a weekend, they have amazing service.

    Do they have vegan options?

You may wish to contact the restaurant directly to see if there are options not on the menu. My impression is that vegan options are minimal. Some salads and maybe pastas.

    Do they sell wine?

    Yes! Wine is available.

Do you have soy milk or non dairy creamer for coffee?

Yes, they had soy milk, as I got that in my chai latte.

Smoked Salmon Toast (8.5/10) - This dish had a lot of layers of flavor, and the egg was cooked perfectly with a runny yolk. I loved the variety of veggies that came with it, and the portion size was satisfying. The plating was also very nicely done. You can choose either potatoes or salad on the side. Tiramisu Crepe Cake (8/10) - Not overly sweet, which I liked. The cocoa powder balanced the sweetness nicely, making it more enjoyable. It was creamy without feeling too heavy or too much. Service: The setup here is more casual and self-service. You wait in line at the front to order and pay first, then grab your own utensils and napkins before finding a table. Once seated, they bring the food out to you using your table number. Overall, the service was decent. Ambiance: The place was very lively and packed, so it can get pretty loud with how many people are there talking. There's a lot of outdoor seating, but there was still a line out the door when we arrived. The space itself is large, spacious, and has a nice atmosphere overall.

There will be plenty of foot traffic going in and out of the restaurant. My dining companion and I settled in at the counter since the weather was a bit brisk today. Joanie's has been around long enough to wear its old-school vibe with confidence. The service is just fine. Nothing to complain about and nothing to tell write home about. It's a small enough place you are able to flag someone down if you needed something. We both ordered the "Joanie's Breakfast Medley" which includes French toast or two pancakes, two eggs any style, home fries, and your choice of protein (bacon, sausage, corned beef hash, chicken-apple sausage, or ham) for $25.95. We added two coffees, because we are functioning adults who require caffeine to make decisions. The food was fine, it was what a Sunday breakfast should be. I had a bit of a sticker shock when I asked for the bill and saw that it was OVER $75 for two people at breakfast, with tax and tip. I sat there doing the math in my head the way you do when you're hoping the numbers will somehow rearrange themselves into something more palatable. They did not. Now, to be fair, I am fully aware that the cost of ingredients and labor has gone up across the board. I was just operating on an optimistic budget of maybe $60 which I now realize is one of those "back in my day" comments to bore the Gen Zs to tears. If you want a recommendation for something sweet, go straight for the Cherries, Berries and Mascarpone French Toast. The eggs benedict is a reliable choice too, if you're feeling classic. The restaurant is easy to get to as it is located at the corner of California and Ash Street, and there's a large parking structure right next door. Would I go back? Probably, yes. But I will be prepared so that the wallet shock doesn't catch me off guard again.

While I never…read moremet the man, he has incredible taste, because Sweet Maple has the best breakfast food I've ever had in the bay area. Well worth the trip. The two of us were dubious about the Millionaire's Bacon, because it was hyped up to the point where it seemed unlikely that it could live up to the reputation. We were wrong. We ordered the Millionaire's Bacon sampler platter, which is four strips of long, thick pieces of bacon, baked with brown sugar and spices. There is the original, which is brown sugar, cayenne, red, and black pepper, which was sweet, salty, and the perfect amount of spicy. The other slices were orange, cinnamon, and rosemary. My partner enjoyed the orange best, whereas I loved the cinnamon, but we both thought the rosemary was underwhelming. The bacon itself was very thick and meaty with a minimal amount of fat, and was just clearly high quality pork. Truly worth the hype. We also got the bottomless mimosas, which not only had multiple choices of juice (we got raspberry lemonade) but were surprisingly heavy on the champagne. The waiter kept them coming without us needing to ask, to the point where I had to tell him I was done because I was a little too tipsy for breakfast. My partner got the chicken croffle, and was very impressed. I tried the fried chicken (though not the croffle) and it was very well spiced, very crunchy, and well cooked--juicy and tender. I got the big hip, which is deep fried "french toast". I wouldn't call it french toast myself, but it was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and came with fresh fruit, butter, and syrup. There wasn't enough syrup for the entire dish, but I asked our waiter for more and he came back with it in less than a minute. On top of the food being as close to perfect as you can get, the service was great. Several different waiters checked in on us throughout the meal, making sure we were enjoying the food and that we didn't need anything else. The vibes of the restaurant are really enjoyable too. The décor is lovely, the sound levels are very reasonable, and everything was spotless during our visit. Overall, I can't recommend Sweet Maple enough, and I'm kind of glad it's not closer to my house because I would go bankrupt with the amount of Millionaire's Bacon I'd buy on a weekly basis.

Cooking out the liquid from squash, tomatoes or mushrooms is cooking 101, in my book. Their mole is an American version and not at all a traditional one. Beware. Service and ambience are fine.

Not much has changed except the price. The food really blew me away. When I came here in the past, I guess I was on a frozen mocha diet. I ordered the lasagna ($27 with tax). I guess I wasn't expecting much but wow, you can taste the handmade pasta and bolognese sauce. It was delicious with the crispy edges. It also came with a small salad (because iykyk... fiber). It was a bit pricey for lunch but the quality was there. We are outside which was nice and shaded. Overall, good service, nice environment, and great food will keep me coming back here for more! Sorry no pics because I don't want to embarrass myself in front of my colleagues.

The French toast was fluffy, buttery, and easily one of the highlights. The omelette with cream and mirin really hit the spot, and the breakfast wrap was also excellent. No complaints here. Drinks (3/5): The drinks tasted good, but we ordered them extra hot and they arrived cold, which was disappointing. You are also responsible to pick them up so stay close to the barrista id you need coffee. Ambiance (4/5): The atmosphere is lively and energetic, which gives the place a fun brunch vibe. That said, it can feel overcrowded. The seating is very tight, tables are pushed close together, and the line can get quite long. Service (2/5): This was unfortunately the biggest issue. One of our items was missed in the original order. When I went back to fix it, staff initially entered it as a separate order and told me there wasn't much they could do and that I'd need to pick it up as a to-go order. After multiple conversations, I asked them to simply combine it with our original order and bring it to our table, which they eventually agreed to. When our food arrived, the missing item was still missing. After checking with staff three separate times, we were eventually told they were "doing us a favor" by giving us someone else's to-go item. By that point, we had already finished most of our breakfast and were ready to leave. The staff seemed more focused on explaining how busy they were rather than taking ownership of the mistake, even though the issue started with the original order being missed. Overall, this is a solid 4-star if you go on a quieter day and you don't need much customer service because the food is absolutely worth trying. On a busy day, though, be prepared for a potential 2-star experience, mainly due to customer service.

I'm so happy I did because it's one of the few places that has a nice London Fog. I love that when you get your coffee "for here" it comes in actual ceramic mugs instead of plastic or paper. Thanks for creating less waste this way They even have metal utensils too! There is a long table inside with an outlet extension for working that could comfortably seat 6 people, but up to 10 if you really wanted to. Inside, it's bright with all the storefront glass and spacious with its open strut ceiling concept. Aside from coffee and tea, they also have salads, croffles, tartines of various combinations, and pastries so you can grab a quick bite or dessert too. Parking is limited right in front of the café but there's another parking lot in the area so I wouldn't worry about parking here either. The cloud 9 name and theme is so clever since it is right by an aviation club. The music inside is light and unobtrusive. Outside there's a peaceful, quiet patio with shade, sun, and flowers. Absolutely magical.

I came at opening, and it was just myself and one other person there getting a drink. Both of our drinks had about an inch of a gap. The taste was great, but it annoys me when places do this.
