So far, my favorites are Irish cream, lemon blueberry, and banana cream. It is a bit messy to eat, so have napkins and a small plate to catch any sugar or filling that may fall out when you bite into it. We had their chocolate chip cookie. It looked like a big mound of baked dough. Overall, it was okay. I would easily skip this for the donuts instead. I haven't tried their coffees, but my daughter loves the hot chocolate, and I have been enjoying their calamansi juice. It's nice and tart, not too sweet. I've been seeing videos of their poke and decided to try it out. After having it two times, I would say the poke is okay. Also, they forgot to give me seaweed salad the first time I tried it. While the poke is budget friendly, you get what you pay for in quality. It's decent and filling, but quality doesn't compare to higher priced poke shops ($18-$20). The poke kind of reminded me of Basa Seafood in SF, which I wasn't a fan of, and Basa is also known for cheaper prices. MoDo only offers tuna poke and I am a salmon girly. I'm not sure if they plan to expand their selections, but if you wish to try their poke bowls, get the half n half. BTW, I believe staff should be mindful of the rice temperature. My friend visited on a BOGO day and said her bowl was super hot. By the time she arrived home, some of the poke was half-cooked. I also came on a BOGO day but did not experience this.

For one dozen mochi donuts, it'll set you back roughly $39 (including taxes). I ended up getting 10 mochi donuts (flavored with cookies & cream, ube, fruity pebbles, strawberry, and churro). The donuts only took 10 minutes to cook fresh to order. Cookies & cream and fruity pebbles were easily my fave of the bunch. The donuts are soft, chewy, and I would say slightly more dense than other places (but not in a bad way). I look forward to coming back here again for my mochi donut needs!
