Delicious raised donuts and iced coffee to satisfy that sweet craving! This small business is tucked in a tiny, somewhat dilapidated lot shared with a liquor store and other small businesses serving the community. The parking lot is right off the main road and is tight but you'll find some 30-minute spots dedicated to Daily Donuts customers. Once you enter the store, you'll see a full display case of colorfully glazed sugary fluffs and as the welcome bell rings, the staff member will be out to greet and serve you. The staff is friendly and quick to fulfill your orders. You won't find many seats here as it seems people tend to pick up and go. Donuts by the dozen is definitely the most cost effective and exciting as you'll be able to try more flavors. All of their raised donuts are fluffy and have a good chew with each bite. Their chocolate is rich and not too sweet. The sprinkles are abundant and give a nice crunch. The old fashioned cake donuts are also fresh and balanced in flavor. I also got to try their iced coffee and although it's a bit pricey, the flavor is good and strong. It definitely would be better if the price wasn't as gouging. While we are on price, if you choose to get a half dozen as opposed to the full, there will be a separate box fee. Furthermore, if you choose to pay by card (for purchases over five dollars), expect a fifty cent charge for that transaction. Cash payments are probably preferred here. Overall, the food and drinks here are tasty and great to satisfy your indulgences. The price for donuts is relatively fair but the price of drinks is definitely high compared to other donut shops. The quality is pretty consistent across all donut varieties and the service is quick so you'll be in and out of this lot with a box of goodies in no time!

6am and I'm greeted with a delicious display full of colorful fresh donuts and a smile. The energy here is a great way to start your day. Donuts are fluffy and delicious. Lots of fun flavors in the morning but I'm a simple girl.

Best donuts in San Jose. Made fresh everyday. Open early convenient to stop by before work. Excellent pricing and the owner is super friendly. Wide variety of donuts and pastries.

Sausage, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich

I came here for breakfast this morning. I ordered two glazed donuts, one sugar donut, one cinnamon donut, and one sausage, egg, cheese bagel sandwich. Everything tasted delicious, but somewhat pricey though. The donuts are so fluffy and airy, it's insane. The price for one donut is $2.25. The bagel sandwich was $7.50. It was fire too. The scrambled egg was cooked just right, the sausage had a great peppery taste to it, and the bagel had a good bounce to it. I also have to mention it was very hot inside the donut shop compared to outside. It made me want to just take my food to go. There's also a 50 cent surcharge for any credit or debit card use so I recommend you use cash to save yourself two quarters.

Just moved to the area and was not disappointed with this little donut shop. The service is always on point. They are so nice and inviting. I come here surprisingly for the Vietnamese iced coffee. I ask for medium sweet and she's made it consist every time! Absolutely delicious. I love the cinnamon rolls

Was passing by and saw this donut shop right off the corner of Tully & McLaughlin & decided to give it a try. I was greeted right away by a very kind and sweet lady, which I'm assuming is the owner. She was really nice and allowed me to take my time on what donuts I wanted to order. I ended up spending a little over $8 for 4 donuts. I'm not sure if it has always been that price for donuts, but it seems like everything is going up in prices now because of the inflation. The donuts smelled great, but a few of them were baked where they weren't as soft and fluffy as other donut shops make them. Either way, I still love supporting local mom & pop shops to help them out whenever I can.

I found this place by driving around I have a sweet tooth so I stopped & I was surprised by the selection of sandwiches & donuts. I was mesmerized & taken back looking at the wall of sandwiches they offered with pics. The staff are very nice, and this shop has been there for years with repeat customers, they will encourage you to buy more, but with a very friendly attitude lol. This is definitely a hidden gem, for breakfast or lunch they have something for everyone. I gave this place 4 stars, because parking is scarce, it's in a bad area & the place is very small. Don't be discouraged if you see a line it goes fast depending upon the day you go.

I'd read in the Yelp reviews that a line forms out the door in the morning, but I thought that was only on the weekends. Nope. I got there on a Thursday morning right as they opened at 6am and there was already a line. It took about 15 min. to get to the counter to place my order. Stan's makes the donuts right there in the front of the shop, so they are completely fresh. I ordered one chocolate French cruller and one chocolate crème-filled glaze. The cruller was wonderful. Airy and soft with delicious chocolate on top. Should have ordered two of those. The chocolate crème-filled was not as good. It was too crispy on the outside and had too much warm crème inside. I might have liked it better if I hadn't first eaten the perfect cruller. Stan's only takes cash, but they have an ATM machine in the shop. There is a large shared parking lot. Phone orders must be placed 24 hours in advance. I'll be back for more crullers and to try an apple fritter, which are only served on Mondays.

There's no seating area inside the bakery, but there are some tables outside next to a water fountain. Of the times that I've been there, it's mostly empty and clean, and the trash bins are not overflowing. The donuts are absolutely delicious. The brioche donut is soft but holds the fillings in well. There's also a bit of crunch from the sugar on the outside of the donut. There's an ample amount of filling, so you get to taste the flavors. So far, my favorites are Irish cream, lemon blueberry, and banana cream. It is a bit messy to eat, so have napkins and a small plate to catch any sugar or filling that may fall out when you bite into it. We had their chocolate chip cookie. It looked like a big mound of baked dough. Overall, it was okay. I would easily skip this for the donuts instead. I haven't tried their coffees, but my daughter loves the hot chocolate, and I have been enjoying their calamansi juice. It's nice and tart, not too sweet. I have seen some savory options but have not tried them. I will be back to explore the menu.

There was a good amount of premade custard filled donut holes on display. Despite them being prefilled and on display, the donut holes were still crispy and not soggy! I was delighted from the first bite. The prefilled donut holes are different from the regular ones. They are glazed and more similar to a cream puff which makes them super tasty. I love the irregular shapes of each of them and how big they were. The cream puff texture is what makes this custard filled donut holes not feel heavy when you eat them. Very yummy and addicting. The service was okay. I was greeted by both ladies at the counter and the worker who had assisted me seemed very attentive. I got a dozen cream filled donut holes which were 8.99. The brownies were pretty good, balanced sweetness and chocolate flavor without being overwhelmingly sweet and I enjoyed the walnuts, but it was a very fudge like texture and I prefer my brownies to be slightly more cake-y and airy. If you like fudge brownies you'd like these. My issue was the burnt almond cake, both vanilla slices were on the dry side. The chocolate slice had a hint of chocolate otherwise tasted exactly the same. The almonds and cream were fine, I would've preferred stronger almond flavor. Was meh. Customers usually come in, grab what they need, pay, and head out, which keeps things moving smoothly. One of the best things about this bakery is the incredible variety of pastries and breads. Don't skip the refrigerated section either! They carry fruit sandwiches, tuna sandwiches, fried bread, donuts, somen noodles in a cup, and other delicious grab-and-go items. We walked into a cozy, compact space with shelves filled with freshly baked breads, pastries, and prepared foods, all arranged in a way that makes you want to browse slowly even though the shop is small. The atmosphere has that simple, welcoming feel reminiscent of the small bakeries you find throughout Japan, focusing more on quality and variety than on a large café setup. Seating is limited, so it is better suited for grabbing something to go rather than spending a long time inside. The biggest draw here is the combination of Japanese baked goods and savory items. The bakery selection offers a great mix of sweet and savory options, with classics like melon pan standing out for its crisp sugary topping and soft interior that stays light without being dry. The curry bread and croquette bread are also popular choices, both feeling comforting and freshly made rather than overly sweet or greasy. The bakery items are reasonably priced, which makes it easy to pick up multiple things without feeling like you are spending too much, and the variety means there is always something new to try. The onigiri selection is what really makes Clover stand out compared to a typical bakery. They offer a variety of rice balls with fillings like spicy tuna, tuna mayo, and unagi, making it a great option for a quick breakfast or light meal. The rice is well balanced and the fillings give each onigiri a different personality. The spicy tuna has a nice kick that comes through without overpowering the rice, while the unagi adds a sweeter, more savory flavor that works especially well with the slightly salty rice. The onigiri are a practical, satisfying choice for anyone looking for something more substantial than a pastry. Beyond the baked goods and onigiri, Clover also has drinks, sandwiches, and desserts including cakes and other pastries. The strawberry cake is a nice lighter dessert option, and the overall menu gives plenty of reasons to visit whether you are looking for breakfast, a snack, or something to bring home. The offerings feel thoughtfully selected, with enough variety to cover different cravings without making the menu feel scattered. Service is friendly and efficient, and the small size of the shop adds to the charm. Since it has become a popular local spot, some items can sell out during busy hours, so arriving earlier gives you the best selection. Parking can also be a little challenging during peak times, but the quick grab-and-go style makes the visit easy to manage. Clover Bakery & Cafe is a great stop for anyone who enjoys Japanese bakeries. The combination of fresh breads, affordable prices, and unique savory options like onigiri makes it feel different from a standard bakery. It is the type of place where it is worth picking up a few items and trying a mix of everything, leaving you with the sense that you have found a little neighborhood gem that delivers on both quality and variety.
