The store is very busy, regardless of the time of day. Yet the staff keeps the line moving and the coffee shop clean. There are also Peet's logo items for sale, along with coffee and teas. I really like the table set up. Some of them are at a nice level while they have a higher table with stools. This is very helpful to my wife, as she has mobility issues. Overall, this Peet's is a great place to go if you're looking to unwind or take a break.

There golden chai latte is great! Friendly service. The place is good to sit and work/study, pretty moderate noise.

i'm sorry but this location just continues to go down hill. i place a mobile order so i can get my items quick, i arrive past the estimated time and it's still not ready. but first, when you try to walk in, you're bombarded by all these homeless people panhandling for money. and their inside doing the same! i walk in and wait to the side, no greetings or acknowledgment whatsoever. clearly this is a thing, since others have complained of the same thing. if this wasn't the closest one to my work, i would never come here. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.

A book and cup of coffee in the sun. As it gets cooler, this is a good spot to get a cuppa and some solar heating. I do have my favorite cafes with outside seating in the sun, this is up there on the list. Not number one, but up there. The only problem is ambience. Namely the outside seating is next to the exit for the shopping area. Other than that, there's a quaint simple garden outside and plenty of seating in the shade and sun. Ah, what about the coffee quality? The coffee is consistently Peet-ish. Invigorating as usual. The staff who pour and brew this caffeinated goodness are magic.

I have no idea if it's due to spotty phone service in this area or the update in the app but anyways after trying countless times trying to order on the app and having my order " canceled" and my bank being charged. There nothing showing up in my app. I was going to show him proof of charge on my bank. The guy Barista was kind enough to just make my order without questioning or asking for proof.Which I am very thankful for. Thank you for understanding. Ordered Cafe mocha New chicken and waffles - this is surprisingly pretty good. It's nice mix of sweet and savory. I would recommend trying it at least once. Thank you once again for not giving me hard time! Peet's fix your app!

This is without a doubt my FAVORITE Peet's Coffee location. Service is prompt and the drinks actually taste how they should!!! You'd think that would be something easy to accomplish.... Parking can be a little tight but patience is key. This Peet's Coffee is always clean, spacious, and the baristas are always hustling to get you out on your way. I've purchased teas, coffees, ice blended drinks, and baked goods- they never disappoint!! I appreciate my drinks never tasting watered down and made extremely poorly which is what I get at other locations. The baristas here LEGIT know what they're doing. 5 stars for the barista killing it on bar with the blue hair!! Thank you for renewing my faith in Peet's Coffee!! The other Peet's locations can learn a thing or two from you all!!

It was super convenient if you're out walking your dogs like we were. I'm usually a fan of their Pandan, but I think I have a new favorite. The banana cream and Guava cream paired with matcha is a total game changer. You can tell they aren't using cheap ingredients; the matcha is high quality and the cream is actually thick and rich (hopefully its from real fruits haha) which makes such a difference for a latte. It's definitely on the pricier side( about $9 per drink if you want to substitute with other milk), but for the quality and the vibes, it's 100% worth it. Service was fast and great! Plenty seating indoor and outdoor but parking spaces were limited.

I like this coffee shop, I've been coming here and especially the San Jose location for a long time. I appreciate consistency in my coffee shops and to be honest, academic seems to be losing the plot. Today I ordered one basic drink and one specialty- a vanilla latte and the guava matcha drink; both were just mid. The guava matcha is beautiful aesthetically, but the guava was way too overpowering, you couldn't taste the matcha. Also no oven to heat up the pastries. I still like their alum rock beans and purchase them regularly. They used to give you a drip coffee or espresso shot with purchase but I guess not anymore. Overall this spot appears to be leaning towards style over substance, but I hope they don't go that route. This review is a 3.5 but I rounded up because of the pistacho specials from the last couple months were very good.

There is a kiosk for ordering, as well as paper menus on display for you to look at, topped off with what appears to be a photobooth on the side that you can take pictures inside of for fun. I decided to get the Lavendula Latte, which the barista delivered to my table. I had forgotten to adjust the sweetness (though thinking now I can't remember if there was an option for that) but the drink had a nice balance of sweetness. Only complaint I have is that the menus lacks photos (not sure if it's lag or if there genuinely are no photos), but I'd say that the drink looks okay. You also have to use McDonalds wifi if you want to do work here, but the wifi's free and seems to be working fine so I'm not sure if that's really a negative. There was a mix of people studying, working, and chatting with friends; it's a very lively community spot. Despite how chaotic it was, the space was generally clean and the service was great. The cashier made sure to get our names and address us by them. The decor is beautiful, feeling intentionally designed. I thought it was really cool that they have a slow coffee bar area specifically for pour overs (I think) where tech isn't allowed, so people are just supposed to sit and enjoy their coffee. I've never seen that before in a coffee shop. The menu is extensive. Since it was later in the day, the baked goods were half off, which was a nice surprise. I got a blueberry latte and an Asian fusion focaccia bread. Blueberry latte - I liked this! The blueberry flavor was subtle and not overly sweet or artificial tasting. It added a light fruity note to the coffee without overpowering it. Fusion focaccia bread - This was tasty, but I felt the original price was steep ($12). My piece was around 6" x 3". The shiitake mushroom flavor was strong and I loved the addition of scallions and Chinese sausage sprinkled throughout the bread.
