The quality is consistent, too, a rarity in the food business during these bustling times. The cashiers and managers are exceptionally polite and attentive. Every time I see the managers here deal with a crowd or any confusion about orders, they are sincere and professional. My go to is the Matcha Frappuccino with 1 pump of sweet syrup. The matcha taste is genuine and the light sweetness is not overwhelming. This place can get pretty busy around lunch time, but if you order ahead then it's more convenient. read more

I come to this Starbies just about everyday, as I work really close by. I can say the staff here is probably the best SB staff I've met. They know just about everyone that comes to this location. This location is quite big and seats indoor and has a private patio. The vibez are calm and relaxing here due to the space. The food here is always on point and I've never had any issues with any of my order. The main reason I come back here is the friendly staff. A company thats pretty well known and their breakfast food items like a "sausage" bacon wrap is even an option is beyond me. Clearly no sausage. Had basically only 2 bites worth of bacon then it was all eggs. Had to get my own sauce because this wrap fosho was lacking in the salt and pepper departurment. I mean it's a Starbucks. You know what you're coming in to get. I tried their pumpkin cold brew and was very happy with it. One thing to know about this place for working - great for silent working but not for conference calls. The inside was too noisy and outside is right next to the busy street AND a train/tram track. They also did lose my order so it took 20 minutes to get my cold brew and when I went over to ask they said that my drink was still coming even though everyone after me had gotten their drink. I asked again and then they finally realized that they didn't have my drink. They immediately fixed this and prioritized my drink so that was good. read more

Nice staff and reliable service. This is inE of three Starbucks in the area, all close to each other in apartment complexes by the same builder. WiFi is reliable as well. This location's inside seating was a good size with four chairs, five tables and chairs, and two tall community tables which I love. Outside over ten tables and oerfdct when the weather is good. Been here many times and can not believe I haven't rated yet. They deserve your patronage as they have a staff that remembers you and your drink even after a long time. Super helpful and patient when trying to pick something new. read more

Anytime I enter this Starbucks to order a drink, I lose connection on my phone and I get disconnected from my phone call. The location, spaciousness and cleanness of this Starbucks is pretty good. I really like the small library they have created and that you have different types of seats, from communal tables, to sofas to traditional terrace type of seating outside. Pastries, as in all Starbucks is kind of a hit or miss, mostly frozen and then defrozen, so avoid if you are not desperate and eat your sweets somewhere else. For the rest, it is a great coffeeshop and almost obligatory stop in my long walk-urban hikes around that part of North San Jose. read more

The Starbucks is nice inside and the patio is nice, but the quality/experience has been a problem for me. Since coming here, I get nothing but attitude for my order which is very simple; an iced green tea with no sweetener, no water and shaken. The "shaken" part seems to be a HUGE problem for some of the baristas (I won't name the specific ones) in here, but they look as if I've offended them. I worked at Starbucks as a supervisor for 3 years and was a coffee master during that time. I understand the standard that's expected and iced tea's are shaken by default. I totally get that for some, Starbucks is a job to pay the bills, stay busy or even finish their SCAP program like I did, but while you're there it would be nice to see you put the appropriate effort into your job and pass on the Starbucks quality experience. read more

I never really visited Starbucks before until they started offering nitro cold brew. I'm addicted and look forward to having it every weekend. This Starbucks is really nice, as are all the new Starbucks locations. I go out of my way to come here because they offer nitro cold brew. Not all locations have it. The Starbucks app has a nitro cold brew filter, which shows you all the locations with it, which is awesome. The baristas are nice here and are very accommodating. Note: phone reception here is terrible, so make sure you connect to their wi-fi before you get to the register if you're trying to pay with the Starbucks app. Parking is also not very convenient. You can park along the sidewalk in front of the store if there's parking available, or in the parking garage on the side. read more

I had a pretty stressful day as I had to conduct a training to my peers (I thought I'm an Introvert, but I took a test and apparently I'm an Ambivert). Anyway, I didn't have lunch as I didn't want to throw up from anxiety of speaking in front of everyone. So I was really looking forward to my first meal which is my favorite drink. I always order grande mango dragon fruit LEMONADE NO ICE with 5 scoop of dragon fruit and what do I get iced, no lemonade, and probably 2-3 scoop of dragon fruit. I always transfer it to a venti cup and dilute it with water. This time it had no sugar/no sweet what so ever. I took it as, alright I'm on a diet, this is ok. AND THEN, not Starbucks fault, I placed my cup at the edge of the corner seat, and the drink is splattered. I'm not sure what it is with this store, but they can never make a Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew correctly. It's really frustrating and disappointing because this drink is my favorite (even over Philz and Blue Bottle). It's THAT good when it's made right. It's only this store that can't make it, and it sucks because this is the store that's right by my work. For the last two months, I've gone to a different Starbucks just because no amount of complaints can get management to train their employees to properly make this drink. Asking the baristas there doesn't do any good because they just make the drink the same way (the wrong way!). I've complained online a few times, and customer service tells me they'll contact the store manager, but the drink is still make incorrectly. So now I pick-up my drink 5 days a week from another location because when you're paying $3.75 for your drink, it needs to be made consistently. This store either doesn't make the sweet cream correctly, or puts in the wrong cream all together, they don't use the cold brew (maybe they add in the iced coffee), or they use the wrong syrups for both the sweet cream and/or the actual drink. Not even sure, but the drink tastes so bad here. I blame is on the lack of management and training because the drink is always WAY off. read more

On two separate occasions they have not had the vegetarian sandwich I've asked for which is ok, what bothers me is that on both occasions they offered a meat sandwich as a substitute rather than another vegetarian offering. Never left a bad review on anything, but how ridiculous it is to have a printed order on a cup as "Venti iced vanilla latte" and it came out as a grande iced coffee. We had about 5 drinks in the order and only 2 were correct, we would have asked for a remake if we had time. This one is at an amazing location, right on North first. Went on a Sunday morning and still found lot of people working on laptops. The seats are comfortable and most have a cushion on them so if you want to stay for a few hours to work you can sit comfortably. Plenty of seats and tables outside. Very convenient location (right next to my apartment community), and I am almost always able to find a place to sit and work out of this Starbucks. The staff is pretty nice too. As another reviewer mentioned, there is an issue with cellphone reception in that location. But I don't think Starbucks is to blame for that. Great location in the first floor of the River Oaks Apartments on North First Street. Particularly the outdoor seating area is extremely relaxing in the late afternoons where you can hang out for a long time and bask in the natural beauty of the surroundings.
