Unfortunately, the Starbucks - Power & McDowell appears to be experiencing some operational challenges. I placed a Caramel Macchiato order through the app, and after waiting more than 25 minutes with no coffee, I asked to cancel it. This has been my favorite location in the past, but something seems to have changed. This isn't the first time I've encountered extended wait times, and waiting over 25 minutes for a coffee simply isn't reasonable. I sincerely hope someone steps into a leadership role to address these issues before more loyal customers are lost. I have great respect for the employees, they work hard, and the store offers quality products. With better execution, this location could easily return to the high standard it once maintained. read more

We have been regular customers at this Starbucks for over six years. Until recently, it was a place we genuinely enjoyed--friendly staff, gracious service, and a welcoming environment that made starting the day pleasant. Unfortunately, since the arrival of the current manager, Kelly, the atmosphere and service have noticeably declined. This is the second incident in a two-month period in which I was verbally confronted by Kelly in a manner that was aggressive, unprofessional, and entirely inappropriate. On numerous occasions, I have witnessed her being loudly disruptive, interjecting herself into customer conversations where she was neither invited nor needed. Her demeanor creates discomfort rather than hospitality. It is also hard not to notice that many longtime regulars who once spent time here throughout the day are no longer present. Additionally, since her arrival, this location has experienced an unusual number of arbitrary closures--sometimes fully closed, other times drive-through only--often without clear notice. This has further diminished reliability and trust in this location. To be clear, I am never demanding or rude when an order is incorrect. Mistakes happen. However, Starbucks beverages are not inexpensive, and customers have a reasonable expectation that drinks will be prepared correctly and in the size ordered. On this particular visit, a hot drink I order regularly was served watered down with only one strawberry. I quietly brought it to the barista's attention, and they acknowledged the issue and remade it. When the replacement drink was handed to me, it was only half full. I did not address this with staff. I said nothing--other than quietly commenting to my husband at our table. Kelly, whom I did not initially recognize, was nearby and chose to interject herself into our private conversation. I immediately asked her to stop and explained that I did not wish to discuss anything with her. Both my husband and I requested she disengage. She refused. Instead, she escalated the situation, speaking loudly and stating she would not allow us to speak to "my people that way," a deeply inappropriate and degrading reference to the Starbucks staff. She then demanded that we leave immediately. When I calmly stated that we would leave once we gathered and packed our items (drinks and oatmeal), she stormed off, yelling that she was "taking this to the next level." This behavior was hostile, unnecessary, and completely contrary to Starbucks' values of respect and customer care. I have been a Starbucks Gold member for approximately 20 years. That longevity speaks to loyalty, not entitlement. The question leadership should be asking is whether the decline in ratings and the loss of longtime regular customers is better attributed to those loyal patrons--or to a manager whose conduct is driving them away. Until this situation is acknowledged and corrected, we will not return to this Starbucks--or Starbucks in general. Loyalty deserves respect, not intimidation. read more

Why can't this Starbucks make my simple drink right? A trenta iced green tea, no water. At every other Starbucks it is a dark orange/tan color but this one still waters down the green tea! I've even tried adding light ice & then I get zero ice & still light yellow colored green tea. It was a barista who told me to order my green tea like this years ago & I like it because it's stronger. PLEASE teach your baristas to actually look at the order when it's says NO WATER & not to add it when requested that way. I am a Starbucks regular! I had a long day at work and wanted to stop in for an afternoon treat - absolutely made my day. I got the cold brew with oat milk and brown sugar cold foam on top. The cold foam was silky, sweet, and layered so beautifully on top of the rich cold brew. No one does cold foam quite like Starbucks--seriously, it's next level. Stopped by this Starbucks for a change because it was close. It's relatively small compared to the ones I normally go to and shares a building with nektar-which makes traffic worse than it should be. The drive thru line was long so we went inside. There were a few tables, mostly taken but we figured we'd get our drinks and go anyway so that was fine. That have a good selection of cups on their 50% off sale. My friend got one. Overall it was a good experience and they topped off my personal cup to the tippy top! read more

I've been going to this Starbucks weekly for the last 2 months. This was the 3rd time my drink was "made a while ago" but wasn't on the counter. I know they don't have control over ppl taking mobile orders but after the 2nd time and now the third time I'm having to wait for my drink...what's the point of me ordering on the app if I have to wait for them to remake my drink?? I don't recommend mobile orders at this location. It's not like I'm ordering and then picking up 15-20 mins later. I'm ordering when I leave my house and picking up 7-10 mins later, giving enough time to make it but somehow also enough time for it to be taken....sad. read more

My favorite location for Starbucks, obviously because it's our neighborhood location and also because service here, especially at the drive through, is always great! I've been here many times and yesterday, I stopped by the drive through (they were so fast I didn't have the chance to even check in!) to get a drink in the afternoon. I tried their new Iced vanilla bean coconut milk latte. It was delicious and very refreshing in this heat. They basically add a spoon of vanilla bean powder and make the regular iced latte. I was very happy to see a new iced coconut milk based drink. I was so in need of an iced coffee but was hesitant to create my own combination using coconut milk as an alternative to regular milk so this came as a nice surprise. I found it when I opened the app to check my balance before I approached the drive through! My favorite drink at Starbucks has been the hot coconut milk latte. I love ordering on the app it makes my coffee run so much easier and faster! The baristas are always friendly and if my drink ever tastes "off" they'll happily fix it. My go to drinks are the cold brews (vanilla sweet cream or Irish cream) and the iced americano with cream and hazelnut. read more

Ok, we stopped in around 7:05 pm. They close at 8. We ordered two drinks and sat at one of the tables. The place was empty and we didn't bother the employees for anything. I'll get the drinks out of the way first. They were made great. Both my wife and I agreed they tasted great. That wasn't the problem. The problem was the music. It was loud when we came in but it was manageable. Around 7:15 it got louder. I chalked it up to maybe the slight difference in music tracks but I still had a suspicion that they made it louder. At 7:29 I definitely took note that the volume had gone up. I could barely hear my wife and we were sitting right next to each other. Honestly, I might be wrong. Maybe it was extremely loud the entire time and it was so disorientating I just thought it got louder. I'm engaging in a bit of hyperbole but you get the idea lol. So the employees wanted to blast music while they were cleaning up. Is that a crime? Absolutely not. Am I an old man yelling at rowdy teens who are blasting music? Maybe. But employees should know when the music is too loud. It's not about them. It's about customers. People want to converse over a coffee. Not have their ears bleed from the blasting music. And it's not like I'm a young whipper snapper who has perfect hearing. I usually need music turned up a bit. And no, I shouldn't have to ask them to turn it down. Im not even going to dignify that thought with an explanation as to why it's wrong. So if you're going through the drive through, or you want the club experience then this is the place for you. Wow. New to the area and I ordered and paid on line. Waited the 25 minutes for the app to tell me its ready. Walk into the store to preorder pick up, and was ignored. I saw my drinks, but they continued to make the newly ordered drinks for those waiting. When I interrupted Jenn to ask for my order, she said, "you have to wait". Helped someone else who asked her a question. Then tells me, "you didn't tell me your name. You have to tell me your name". What do you think I was trying to do? Amazing staff, strong blonde roast coffee, always has nice mugs on sale, nice seating area with wifi that works great, lovely decorations for the holidays. This is my favorite Starbucks! However the noise level is quite loud in the mornings and weekends until noon so I'd avoid during those times if you're looking for a quiet study place. read more

Worst Starbucks in town for sure. Super slow every day of the week. I stop in every morning on my way to work and timed a minimum of 15 wait this week. Order has been messed up a couple of times. So I order ahead through the app to ensure that my order would be ready by time I arrived; however, when I get there, I go through drive-through and let them know that I have a pick up order and the gentleman on the intercom has assured me that my order is ready and to come on through to the window. I get to the window and the blonde chick at the window is holding my order and about to hand it to me, but instead pulls back to keep it in her hand and take someone else's order, meanwhile, my drinks are sitting right in front of her in the sun with the window open as she proceeds to take her sweet time placing someone else's order, instead of simply handing me my bag, and my two drinks that are just melting my whip cream away and now my drinks are just flat. Usually this process is a lot faster especially when I order ahead, so I just found that to be extremely disrespectful and to top it off my cheese danishes weren't even warmed up, how rude! read more

Today is the last day I will order Chai Tea and be a patron of this location. There are plenty other locations at which I receive a tasty beverage. One barista advised me to ask for no water in the Chai to prevent staff from diluting it. I typically get a diluted tea from this location. Today, despite my order of "no water;" I still received a tasteless Chai tea. The baristas, those with whom I order from while in line, and cashiers are always friendly but the product does not make this location worth my time or money. read more

Perhaps I had bad luck but I felt like I was in pick-up bar at happy hour and not at a Starbucks as I tried to get some work done near the pick-up counter, where I found a few people more interested in chatting (loudly, basically screaming) with each other and with their friends on the staff than picking up some coffee. We're not talking 5 minutes -- we're talking like 20. It's always OK to say hi to friends when they're at work but friends need to limit the conversation and stay focused on the job. I've been a morning regular here for many years and I drink my fair share of coffee. This is probably the most consistently good and friendly Starbucks I have visited in the valley. Keep it up, guys! Great Service and Friendly Staff I have to admit I love my coffee and I always stop at this Starbucks store. I realize there are many Starbucks locations. However, this location is one of my favorite. The service is great and the staff are very friendly. This location is clean and feels comfortable. I usually get a latte or frappe. My coffee is always made the way I order and tastes great. In addition, to great coffee Starbucks has delicious pastries if you need a snack. Great coffee, pastries, and friendly staff. This is a good Starbucks. It's open very early. It's one of those good "stand-alone" Starbucks, not one of those small ones in a grocery store. There's no screaming kids running around either. (Re: "grown-ups" Starbucks. Not a romper room.) it's got a drive thru. It's got a small front deck / patio situation. Good employees. Now that I live here it's as if they know when I am about to walk in the door. The team is friendly and the place is always clean.
