Love love Wander coffee. Amazing coffee, cookies and scones and the customer service is out of this world fantastic. I usually get the lemonades for my kids and a vanilla chai, matcha latte or a cold brew for me. Definitely go check them out. They are the best in town. Lol I'm not sure who was put in charge of this listing but Phoenix isn't even spelled right so be aware of the correct name for the shop and the correct websites: http://www.phxart.org/project http://www.cityscapephoenix.com/events/phxartproject-cityscape-presented-by-the-phoenix-art-museum/ From November 24 to January 7, the Phoenix Art Museum has a pop up shop selling gift items, with performances and special exhibitions for display. The shop is spacious and the items were all very unique and would make cute or funny gifts. They could probably fit some more items in this space for sale but it was a fun store to browse in while we were at Cityscape. The installation at the shop when I was here was Saskia Jordá's Cacerolazo. If you're at Cityscape it's worth a stop since you get a shopping experience and get to see some modern art all in the same place.

However, I was met and left with a bad taste in my mouth. No pun intended. The female employee (short hair/glasses) was not the friendliest person, even after I tried being overly nice. I don't know if she was having a bad day or just hates males in general but not a good representation of a place I was eagerly awaiting to try. I first asked if there was a difference in drinks from what was on the menu and up on the board above. She answered snarky, "if it's up on the board and on the menu it's the same" Mind you, one said latte and the other did not, hence the question. I opted with what I normally get. She took my order and then while looking down, stated, "2% milk okay" I said sure then asked if whole was available. You would've thought I had asked for her to go milk the cow and bring it back. She was very annoyed, so I said 2% is fine. I paid for my coffee then stood and watched her began preparing it. I saw her add one quick pump of syrup so I said, could I maybe have one more pump. Again, you would've thought I was about to suck them dry of all syrup. She seemed annoyed and looked at the register and began to say what I assume was they charge for extra, so I quickly said never mind. All in all I was disappointed with my interaction. The coffee was good and the wrap was okay but I dunno if I'd go back.

They went above and beyond explaining how the app works, were incredibly friendly, and made us feel welcome right away. They were especially great with our young kids, which is always appreciated. The professionalism and positive attitude really stood out--it's clear this team cares about the customer experience. And the food? Fantastic. Fresh, flavorful, and well worth it. We'll absolutely be coming back and highly recommend this location if you're in the area.

I loved all the Polaroids of happy customers around the shop. It gives the place so much personality. Even though I walked in right at 7 AM, the woman working was incredibly kind and helpful. Such a friendly start to the morning. Definitely a great place to grab coffee, something sweet, and hang out for a bit.

AZ Chimney Cakes specializes in Kürtöskalács, a.k.a chimney cakes, an incredible dessert that originated in Hungary. I have Romanian roots and Kürtöskalács are quite popular in Romania. That's where I had my first chimney cake. Located in the same shopping center as a movie theater, a Japanese restaurant, and a bunch of other businesses, I parked without any issues in the free back lot and walked over. Ambiance (4/5): A cozy dessert shop. I felt right at home when I saw a map of Bucharest by the entrance. You order at the counter and then they bring your order out to you. We sat at a table close to the door. Service (5/5): Friendly service and we were fortunate enough to chat with the owner for quite a bit. We learned about the history of the dessert spot and how they're trying out some new ideas. Nice lady. Drinks (N/A): No drinks for me on this visit. Food (5/5): If you've never has a chimney cake, you're in for a treat. They're made to order and customizable. More so than anywhere I've ever seen. You choose your base, toppings, additions, and drizzles. I went with the traditional chimney cake with Biscoff cookies, vanilla ice cream, and Nutella drizzle. Outside of the dessert options, which are the way to go for first timers, if you're feeling adventurous, they also have one or two savory options. The chimney cakes are served warm and absolutely delicious. They're filling too so come with an appetite. It's one of those things everyone should try at least once in their lifetime. So cool to have them in Mesa!
