Friendly staff, clean store and restroom and central location. I like the outdoor seating in the warmer months as well. Sometimes the line is long but the food and drinks always come out correct or they'll fix it for you. This location is a further drive for me than the one on Arnold but the service and quality make it worth it. read more

Today I went into this Starbucks to order several drinks and pastries. The total bill was nearly $20. I asked for a hot vent. Passion tea, HOT. The employee who was taking our order, Hayen, nodded and grabbed a clear cup. I repeated my order for a hot tea and he corrected it. While waiting for the order he informed me that there was only 1 tea bag left of the tea I ordered, where normally there are 2 bags. I told him a grande would be fine. My biggest problem with my experience is as follows: 1. Poor customer service. When you do not have a drink order as requested, you either refund them the drink size difference, or give them a free or discounted drink on their next order. He offered none of these options, resulting in an overcharge which he did not offer to clear up! Seriously?! Managers: restock your inventory. Employees: act nicer! Everyone there seemed miserable. Not a good environment! And next time I won't be coming to this branch. I'm sorry I tipped. You overcharged me and gave me no options for not having the drink I wanted. read more

I am giving this Starbucks only two stars because once again they are out of coconut milk. I can't have dairy or soy so I was so happy when Starbucks added coconut milk. I Love their coconut milk lattes and vanilla bean frap with coconut milk. I only have 20 minutes to leave The office, drive to Starbucks and get my drink. I come and spend a lot of money here. Tonight I'm waiting at the register and not one person greeted me and I was the only one in line. The girls just walked to the back and ignored me. I ordered six drinks. Staff was rude and EXTREMELY put out when I asked them to write the first initial of the name for whom I was ordering the drinks. The barista who was making the drinks questioned it too and both definitely made me feel like I was asking too much. This Starbucks is close to my house, and I stop at least once or twice a week on my way to work. The lines can get really crazy, but the baristas are really fast. The community members who frequent this starbucks are very friendly and love to chat. Whenever I go into get my coffee, there is this really nice old man who is sitting in the same place. He tries to talk to customers, but a lot of the time they just ignore him. I was lucky enough to have a converstaion with him one day, and it was really nice. If you have a few seconds to spare in your crazy day, go in, get a coffee, and chat with the guy. read more

I've gone here many, many times over several years and have seen them at their best and worst. I feel like a good many of the better employees have moved on and unfortunately can't say a lot for the effort of most of the new crew. Where I was once greeted with a warm hello from someone who knew my name and drink I now often get a stranger who seems like they want to be anywhere else. People move on, I get it. But it's disappointing how they once were a well oiled and efficient machine and now, well, I'll just say not so much. This store was also known for having a strong community feeling anchored by a couple of gentlemen in their late 50's maybe, who were always holding court at the long able along the back wall. They were almost always there and a large and revolving cast of regulars came and went while drinking down their coffee and enjoying some conversation. But after the remodel a larger group like that has a hard time keeping together and out of the way. I haven't seen those guys there, nor many of the people who would congregate there for a while now. That's too bad because it was nice to see some locals making it a spot to get together even in a corporate coffee house such as this. The drinks are still what they always have been. Pretty good to "Mmm, that's freaking delicious" but just now sometimes take a little longer. This store has always had very long lines at peak times so if you're in a hurry and the line is long you might not have time. There are still a few veteran barista's who do a very good job like Jason, the manager Alex, Jenn and a few whose names I can't recall (the woman in her 50's is always nice but in a low key way). I'll give them a 4 for old times sake but feel like maybe a three is closer to the truth. read more

So I was here with a Starbucks tumbler Warranted the couple is a large tumbler but I told the barista I wanted small coffee. The lady at the cashier wanted to charge me for larger coffee. One of the best Starbucks I have visited and have been a customer here since 2013. The staff is always friendly and happy to serve. My drinks have consistently been made as requested. "Extra-hot" Lattes are indeed as ordered :) I have mostly visited this coffee shop in the late evening and have always found a seat. If a lot of people walk in at once and there is a line at the counter, it generally moves quite fast. There is a welcoming outside patio which is very well arranged - great to sit out there, especially in the summer. Parking is easy to find. Bathroom is super clean. Great environment to sit in and do some work while drinking your coffee. Thank you to all the Baristas at this Starbucks, you make this place a "go-to" Starbucks - you are the Best!! read more

Okay, it's not the best starbucks and it's certainly not the worst either. The drinks are done well enough I suppose but what is starting to get to me a little bit is when my kids are with me and my oldest daughter who is now a mere 11 years old wants a frap with a shot, the lady behind the counter gives me grief. now, i am an anti-starbucks kinda girl. but one day, i had to come to martinez to visit a family for school. and they weren't home, so suggested i wait at this particular starbucks, since it's super close to their house. on the day i went, i had 2 bucks, and it was at least 100 degrees out there. i went in, told the lady i had 2$ and to make me something cold, with caffeine. she made me a blueberry white tea juice something or other, and it hit the spot. and she only charged me $1.55 for it. what!? for a smoothie? nice!! 3 stars is as high as it gets for starbucks. because i don't believe in starbucks...but this was a good experience. read more

I am a daily customer at this Starbucks and am always impressed by the wonderful Baristas. Carolyn, Celia , and Natalie take such good care of me. I'm a high maintenance person that needs her hot coffee just right. They never fail me and go the extra mile.! I appreciate the new Mgnt and hope the staff will stay longer than in the past. This is by far the longest drive through line I've ever waited in! I recommend going inside if you can, unless you have 15 mins to spare sitting in your car. The line is always unpredictable! Also, the parking in this lot is horrible. There is hardly ever spots open and they are awkwardly close. So, if you do decide to just go in for coffee, good luck finding a spot to park! read more

This Starbucks is as good as it gets! There is a homey feel to it, the cozy, friendly ambiance hits you right in the face as you enter. Although, at times the line can seem intimidating, it goes REALLY fast. I can really appreciate the baristas that work here, they are exceptionally friendly and thoughtful! This Starbucks is big on getting your order right and if they don't get it right the first time they will make it again to your liking without any fuss. Even with the regular house coffee, if say they ran out and had to brew more, your cup will either be for free or they'll upgrade you to an Americano! The manager there Alex, is beyond super friendly and is very knowledged on the different tastes/smells of the coffees, he isn't afraid to offer his opininon if perhaps your stuck in choosing which brew is best for you! There is plenty of seating (inside and out), and this Starbucks is ALWAYS clean every time I go there (even the bathrooms!) Love Starbucks and go almost everyday. This was my first visit to this one. I ordered through the mobile app. Ordered an iced tea and chicken wrap. Get there my tea is ready, but no food. So I ask and the girl said well if you don't see it out there we are probably out. Oh really? Well why would you allow someone to order something on the app if you are out? And why haven't you checked to see before I arrived to pick up my "to go" order. So the guy Daniel who was there looks back and loudly says do you want a refund or something else? It was so rude and unprofessional. No I'm sorry we are out. No sorry we haven't updated this, nothing. Just so rude to me. Of course I want a refund. It's just frustrating that I depend on the app to tell me what store has what so I can decide where to go on my break. If your going to offer a mobile ordering app then I expect it to be updated and correct. Otherwise you shouldn't offer this service. Will not return here again. This Daniel person should definitely find a job that has zero customer service. He was huffing and puffing when raising his voice at me. No job should make you look that stressed out and upset that a customer just wanted what they ordered. read more

I went in during happy hour to get the new Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino. I should have taken a photo of the drink because it looked nothing like the picture. The description on the website says "Coffee blended with four kinds of caramel, milk and ice topped with a layer of dark caramel sauce, whipped cream, caramel drizzle and crunchy sugar topping." but that is not what I got. It had a small squirt of caramel at the bottom and they poured blended milk and ice on the top. They put whipped cream on top as well but no drizzle or sugar topping. First and only time going here... The two guys working made it very clear that they hate their jobs and the drinks they have to make.
