    Cheese $4

Quick grab and go location. The stuffed buns are located in a hot box behind the counter so you get your food right after ordering. So if you know what a baked Chinese pork bun is... this is the American version of it. The buns themselves are soft lite and airy. We got: Cheese... imagine American Cheese stuffed inside a bun... ok... not really something to write home about. $4 The Brisket... more like a hand pulled pork in a sweet sauce stuffed bun. I was hoping more for a sliced brisket. Something with a little more texture. The cheese on the beef was not fully melted and incorporated into the brisket. $10 Cheeseburger....now this one is winner. Really smells and taste like a McDonald's cheeseburger. Excellent flavor and texture. The sliced pickles really off set the oily beef patty. $7

I wish I took pictures of the food. This place was so good!! I can't believe that this place isn't bigger. Me and my friend had the original, pepperoni, and hot link. Everything was so good! Nice hot gooey savory. Service was prompt, food was in a heated box. I might come by just for this. I really really liked this place so much. If you like cheese, if you like a nice house dinner roll, if you like savory meats, this is your place.

Stopped in for a few zombies during a walkthrough of the farmers market. Quiet little place, warm and cozy, zombies were hot and ready to go. They have multiple variations besides the famous cheese zombie you may remember from school. Stop by and give it a try if you're in the area, also their iced coffee was a delicious pair.

So glad there's one in Martinez. I come here every Sunday during the farmers market. I've tried zombie popper, Hot link, smoked brisket and today sausage & pepper jack. I've never been disappointed, everything is so good! Also they have Bluey playing every time. Lol

Rob's Zombies I am a fan!! I had the Concord location bookmarked to try and happened to be in Martinez and saw this new location and knew I had to try them out. I have been to this location 3 times in a week, just ridiculous but that just tells you it's that good. They specialize in what they call Zombies which are buns filled with yummy ingredients and some have a topping as well. The menu has a variety of zombies such as the original cheese, hot link, breakfast, pizza, pastrami & swiss and many others. They also will have special zombies on certain days which you must make sure to check out. Dessert zombies and a nice variety of coffee and beverages are also available. They are pretty much a one stop shop as you can come here for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I happened to visit on days that they had the special zombies which were pulled pork, brisket and cheeseburger. The brisket zombie was amazing, the bun was nice and fluffy. The brisket was tender and juicy, had the right amount of cheese and barbecue sauce. It was so full of flavor. The cheeseburger was also a hit as it was filled with a nice thick and juicy patty, American cheese, onions, pickles, mustard and ketchup. I also tried the pizza zombie, I loved that it had a cheese crust and the inside was filled with cheese and pepperoni, it had a little bit of sauce but not enough and it seemed hollower than the other variations. Overall, I really like this place and I will be back to work my way through the menu to try all of their other zombies. The customer service was great and the food was great!

Our family frequents the farmers market on Sundays quite often and during the afternoons there really isn't a ton of light food options to choose from. We chose Rob Zombies to go and walk around. It was good. I really liked their breading. However, the cheese was too processed for me. There's something about fake cheese that is just off putting. I had the breakfast zombie. I wonder if you can get them with light cheese? Maybe I would have enjoyed it more. My husband got the pastrami & swiss zombie which I tried but again, the cheese was not great. My husband liked it and he has been back again. Its ok in a pinch but wont be my first choice.

This place is nice to go to for a quick bite to eat if you're either at jury duty or walking around downtown. They are closed on Mondays. I've tried the Breakfast Zombie, Zombie Popper, and Ham & Cheese one. My favorite is the ham & cheese, but they were all good! The worker grabs the sandwich from a case behind the counter and it's nice and warm in a foil pouch. I love how cheesey it is and it does remind you of a school lunch. Very good for quick on the go food either for breakfast or lunch! They also offer coffee and soft drinks. It seems like there may be indoor seating and there are some chairs and tables outside, but I usually just take mine to go.

Clean. Service was very friendly. Cheese zombies were delish! My friend and I tried a regular cheese and a sausage w/pepper jack (sausage patty, pepper jack wasn't spicy). Great comfort snack!

P's Way is the only way…read more That's literally what I'd tell someone if they were confused about what kind of wings to get. You look at the description and you almost wonder if all of that is a little...too much. I'm here to tell you that it's not. It's the only way. There's just something about the zing and tang of combining both the Lemon Pepper with the Buffalo sauce that takes the flavors to a whole new level. On top of that you get a hint of sweetness with the hot honey. These are some of my favorite wings in town. Possibly actual favorite. I need to come back and have them again really soon. But just know that if you are wings fan, you gotta try P's Way. The Fish and Chips and Mac were also good. The Fish seemed a little less flavorful than I thought it was gonna be. The fries made it up for them though. I couldn't stop munching on those. The Mac was solid. Nothing out of the ordinary, but a just really good dish that was straight to the point. I just obviously was super obsessed with these wings when I went. The inside is very homey. Has a more publike vibe. I walk in and almost imagine that I'm on the water or at a pier or something. The people working here are usually very nice. The very last time I came here a guy took my order and forgot one of our items but I think he was new. Luckily this girl with a long blonde ponytail who had served us before asked us if we got everything. When we told her about our missing item she apologized a whole bunch and made everything better. Oh and of course they have amazing beers. Our favorites are the rotation of Dark Beers, Mexican Lagers and Ciders that they have. We have yet to ever have a bad pour. Im pretty sure if you like beer there should be something for everyone. Even Wine slushies if you don't care for beer. Hillside was one of me and my wife's places we would go to when we shortly lived in Martinez. Even though we are a bridge away, we can't wait to come back sometime soon.

Tall pour of Wondrous IPA was delicious, just wish the glass wasn't frozen. Remembered they were in Concord as Hillside Dogs and this is a step up. Clam Chowder.... tasty, not fishy, good consistency Spicy Chicken Sando..... not very spicy, tender chicken, tasty slaw, good bread, decent sandwich. Fries were very tasty! Fisher & Chips... bit bready, mild fishy taste, big meal for a single female, fries were superb. Overall, decent experience. Looks like easy parking - we had parked a few blocks away to visit another spot and walked over.

The folks here were very kind and polite. They were very helpful in ordering as well. I ended up getting the French dip sandwich. The price was pretty in line with what it is nowadays. (Early 2026) I thought the sandwich was tasty and well made. Again, I can't stress how kind the folks here were. One of the kids working brought me my water even though I didn't mind going up to the counter to grab it. Just a great place to grab a quick and delicious lunch. My eyes have been opened…read more I'll admit. Theres certain places in town that I just still haven't tried even after living in Benicia for as long as I have. You know how it is right? If none of the people in your circle have tried it, it sometimes makes it a hard for one to make the leap of faith. After all, everything is pricier nowadays. So making sure you are getting your money's worth is more important more than ever. I'm glad that Sprankles always makes me feel confident about my purchase when I order from them. Recently I tried their Pastrami Club and was very impressed. Lots of good flavors. If you are person who loves extra meat or their sandwiches then I think you'd love this one. I do wish the bread held up a little better. Even though I appreciate the amount of content I get on the sandwich, I think that particular should be served on a more sturdier bread. If not then the meat could probably be reduced just a smidge. Other than that no other complaints. When you pick up your food you shouldn't have any problems with parking. Theres usually plenty of parking in their lot. I'm really looking forward to trying more things here at this cozy sandwich spot.
