Food was delicious! Strawberry shake was bomb! Service was good. Its a little hole in the wall but place was cute.

Current prices as of 12/18/2025. Prices have definitely went up. Mushroom Cheeseburger Special with grilled onions is what I ordered.

Good is always good here! Burgers cooked to order and hot fries out the grease! Yummy!

Came late night after some pool and beers. This is an old school diner, the type you see in the movies. Breakfast, burgers, shakes and the daily specials. I had the Double Bacon and Mushroom Cheeseburger, which our server highly recommended. Our server was really friendly and enthusiastic. Food came out pretty fast, Burger was huge, a bit sloppy but expected with the amount of bacon and mushrooms piled on top of two 1/4 patties. Burger was really good, needed some seasoning but the saltiness of the thick cut bacon made up for it. Price seemed a little steep at $17, for just the burger. Overall not bad for a late night meal.

This is the best diner is the Bay Area!! The best food and atmosphere and it's super reasonably priced

    Double Bacon Cheeseburger.. yummy!

This place has the best food EVER! No one compares- everything is superb!! The servers and supervisors and cooks are down to earth and very attuned with the customers needs- this is truly me and my son's favorite restaurant/diner .. the ambience is a small little diner- not wheelchair friendly though.. heads up ..

You look at the description and you almost wonder if all of that is a little...too much. I'm here to tell you that it's not. It's the only way. There's just something about the zing and tang of combining both the Lemon Pepper with the Buffalo sauce that takes the flavors to a whole new level. On top of that you get a hint of sweetness with the hot honey. These are some of my favorite wings in town. Possibly actual favorite. I need to come back and have them again really soon. But just know that if you are wings fan, you gotta try P's Way. The Fish and Chips and Mac were also good. The Fish seemed a little less flavorful than I thought it was gonna be. The fries made it up for them though. I couldn't stop munching on those. The Mac was solid. Nothing out of the ordinary, but a just really good dish that was straight to the point. I just obviously was super obsessed with these wings when I went. The inside is very homey. Has a more publike vibe. I walk in and almost imagine that I'm on the water or at a pier or something. The people working here are usually very nice. The very last time I came here a guy took my order and forgot one of our items but I think he was new. Luckily this girl with a long blonde ponytail who had served us before asked us if we got everything. When we told her about our missing item she apologized a whole bunch and made everything better. Oh and of course they have amazing beers. Our favorites are the rotation of Dark Beers, Mexican Lagers and Ciders that they have. We have yet to ever have a bad pour. Im pretty sure if you like beer there should be something for everyone. Even Wine slushies if you don't care for beer. Hillside was one of me and my wife's places we would go to when we shortly lived in Martinez. Even though we are a bridge away, we can't wait to come back sometime soon.

Clam Chowder.... tasty, not fishy, good consistency Spicy Chicken Sando..... not very spicy, tender chicken, tasty slaw, good bread, decent sandwich. Fries were very tasty! Fisher & Chips... bit bready, mild fishy taste, big meal for a single female, fries were superb. Overall, decent experience. Looks like easy parking - we had parked a few blocks away to visit another spot and walked over.

Food 4.5/5 Bar food is usually hit or miss, but I really loved the cheeseburger. It was flavorful, juicy, and absolutely delicious and the fries were also excellent and better than many burger-focused spots I've tried. We also ordered the cheese fries and tacos, but we weren't a huge fan of those. Still, I would come back just for the burger and fries alone. Customer Service 5/5 Amazing customer service. Super friendly and helpful with recommendations. They also brought the food out to our table, which we really appreciated. Ambience 5/5 Great vibe overall. It was raining when we visited, and the large windows made it really cozy watching the rain. Very comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Cleanliness 5/5 Clean space with no complaints. It's cozy and generally quiet (despite the big breakfast and lunch crowds), with plenty of good food in every category. Service is always splendid, with a friendly, helpful staff. And it's open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, which is another exception and helps a lot, too. The breakfast and lunch items are particularly good, with practically any kind of breakfast food or lunch sandwich you can name. The only drawback is the dinner menu, which is somewhat limited. I suspect this is of necessity, with breakfast and lunch crowds being much bigger, what with work nearby from the county and such. Nevertheless, everything on the menu is cooked to perfection, so try the dinners, too, and you won't be disappointed.

It was about 11:30 when we walked in and snagged one of the few available seats left. Service was prompt and friendly, and the place buzzed with happy energy. As the breakfast menu went until 2PM, I went for bacon and eggs (poached) with toast, hashbrowns, and orange juice. Gayle ordered a tuna melt off the Lunch side. It was all a log of food and in hindsight, both of us should have exchanged the potatoes for fresh fruit. Both of us also ordered coffee, with both of us agreeing that it was fresh and very good. We also enjoyed the diner ambiance which we though suited JP's very well.
