Great service , super friendly and accommodating. Only went and for dessert, but gonna definitely go back soon to try out the rest of the menu.

I had dinner here on a Friday night with my dad and boyfriend. We shared an order of burrata that was so good! I had the grilled salmon, my boyfriend had the crab sandwich, and my dad had the garlic meatballs. The food was good and well seasoned. The only thing I'd mention is that the meatballs had way too much garlic (I never thought I'd be writing that in a review because I love garlic). It was so potent and we couldn't really taste anything else. They had live music which was amazing, but we were seated right next to it, making it difficult to hear each other speak. Still a fun night in Martinez!

    Gimelli pasta add salmon
    Nick M.

Food was really good. Highly recommend the Gimelli pasta and add salmon to it. Amazing dish, I was thoroughly impressed. Also got the Annie's grilled chicken sandwich with tater tots. Tots could've use a little more crisp, sandwich was pretty good. Asked for a side of their home-made pickled jalapeños, really good. The Arnold Palmer was great, they have a homemade lemonade that really steps it up. To finish it off, the s'more dish was excellent. Table setups are a bit tight, we basically shared a 4 person table with another couple. Recommend a reservation to get a better table. The live music was a nice touch on Saturday night. Overall great experience.

April 5 2025 We went out for a family lunch gathering and had a very nice time at Roxx today. The service by Cheyenne was top knotch. She is top of the line. Now you might want to bring your rich uncle Octopus in hopes of him picking up the tab. You can easily spend an arm and a leg here. Three of us spent $139 on two beers and a coke, two sandwiches and a bowl of chowder and a plate of antiposto. That includes the large party forced gratuity. Luckily my grown kids footed :+) their own bill. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the ambiance. Great for a get-together. The negatives. 1) An unruly child running around. 2) A worker noisily stacking or restacking some type of metal objects against the wall behind my head. 3) Two of my adult children complained that the joint closes too early on weekdays for the drive from San Pablo and Hercules respectively. I would love to come back after the tarrif wars. Unfortunately my rich uncle passed.

Loved this place! It was hopping on a Saturday night. Reservations are recommended. This is really a cute and easy place to eat. Downtown Martinez is cute, fun and hopping, but parking was easy. The service was so friendly and enthusiastic, for a reason! The food was great we will be back for sure! The meatballs with polenta was the order envy entry of the night. Numerous meatballs covered with cheese and a red sauce over pieces of polenta. The flank steak with potatoes and veggies was great! The steak was cooked to perfection, with a great sauce and somewhat scalloped potatoes that were really tasty. Personal preference, I think kale should still be a garnish, but it was cooked well. One of is a huge crab fan. No offers of sharing the crab sandwich with avocado! The tater tits were shared and were great! I would highly recommend!

Wow!!!! What an absolute gem! We are in Martinez to deal with something challenging, and we stumbled upon this lovely establishment while waiting to hear what next steps are. Their food is so outrageously delicious! I'll let the photos speak for themselves, although I forgot to photograph the exceptional New England clam chowder. I have to give a major shoutout to our server, Darlene. She is bubbling over with passionate joy and enthusiasm about the menu and customers! I wish I had a "Darlene" type person to hire for my business!! Her genuine passion for this restaurant and chef came through loud and clear.

    Marinated Skirt steak

After years of passing by and wanting to go in, I finally had the chance to have dinner at Roxx! Claudia was our incredible server that was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed during our time there. I got the marinated skirt steak that comes with au au gratin potatoes, garlic mushrooms and greens. The best part was that it came with an amazing Demi glaze that totally took the meal to the next level. For dessert, I had the Ukraine cream with raspberry sauce and it was genuinely difficult to put my fork down when I inevitably got full. The steak was cooked perfectly and the potatoes added the extra side that brought it all together. Highly recommend this restaurant for romantic date nights or girls night! It's got a romantic and moody vibe with a great cocktail menu!

    Crab Chipotle Quesadilla

I went to Roxx on Main because it was recommend to me. I almost ended up without a table. Evidently they are very popular on weekends because of their live music. I went on the early side hoping to avoid that. No luck. Fortunately for me, someone was just leaving. I had already looked at the menu on line, so I had a good idea of what I wanted. I landed on the crab and chipotle quesadilla. It was ok. The potion was good.and the crab was good. But the house cheese that was in it overpowered the delicate crab flavor. It might as well just been cheese. I paired it with a Contrary Mary, the house version of a Bloody Mary. It tasted just like cocktail sauce. I was actually ok with that because it paired nicely with the crab. The soup of the day was clam chowder. A cup of that with the crab melt might have just been perfect, but I didn't have the appetite for it. Maybe another time. So the music. Pleasant, but not my thing. I wouldn't go out of my way for it. Points to the staff, cwgo actually seemed to be happy to be there. I would definitely give Roxx another shot.

It's a lovely weekend night spot for dining. I have only been here once and within the first few minutes, I knew that this was a local favorite. I could tell by the lovely jazz music, the relationship that the staff had with the diners, and how comfortable everyone was. I went with three other people and we all got different dishes. We were all happy with our dishes :) I recommend the burger or the black/blue salad with was very filling. Don't skip on the focaccia! Would I go back? Yup, it's a sweet date spot. I recommend making a reservation.

    Seasonal house salad
    Shiva G.

Stopped by on a lazy Saturday afternoon looking to enjoy the good weather with my dog. Got a table outside and ordered their seasonal house salad. I was initially worried about the $18 price tags but it was WORTH IT. The salad was well dressed, refreshing and SO delicious. I inhaled the half of it before I remembered that I probably should've taken a picture first. The wait staff were kind enough to bring my dog a clean dog bowl of fresh water while I ate (without me having to ask). The little bread plate with dipping oil was nice too. The balsamic vinegar tasted lovely, like the kind you get from the farmers market infused with fruits. My server Claudia was so kind and sweet, checked in on me often enough without making me feel rushed.

    Roxx-a-Rita
    Janee T.

Yummy yummy mega yummy! My bestie and I went here for an early dinner on a Wednesday, and it was the best first meal she had since she moved to Martinez a couple months ago. We each got a Roxx-a-Rita, and shared a crab melt with tator tots. Yooo that sandwich is the bomb dot com. I could not recommend it more. I kind of wish we didn't share, so that I'd have been able to take some home, but I guess that just means I need to come back ‍ I was so excited to find out that the crab melt came with tots, they're just the elite form of fried potato. The margarita was a little strong, but was pretty good, and gave me a good buzz. The focaccia and olive oil balsamic was an awesome starter. Our server was very upbeat and kind, we loved her! The only not so great thing was that the booth seating was kind of low, and uncomfortable for my 5'3" self to sit at. But I chose to sit there, and was too embarrassed to ask to move to a table, so that's on me! The prices are a little on the high side, so I'll be back when I want to treat myself to a little mini splurge

It's cozy and generally quiet (despite the big breakfast and lunch crowds), with plenty of good food in every category. Service is always splendid, with a friendly, helpful staff. And it's open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, which is another exception and helps a lot, too. The breakfast and lunch items are particularly good, with practically any kind of breakfast food or lunch sandwich you can name. The only drawback is the dinner menu, which is somewhat limited. I suspect this is of necessity, with breakfast and lunch crowds being much bigger, what with work nearby from the county and such. Nevertheless, everything on the menu is cooked to perfection, so try the dinners, too, and you won't be disappointed.

Sometimes I just want a nice homey place that's got that a little of that diner feel to it. Because what really matters? It's the food. Right? That's mostly why you are researching stuff as we speak. And not only does Copper Skillet give you good food. They give you a lot, which is always appreciated in a pricey California. So they have lunch specials and recently I tried the Chopped Cheese which is on Tuesdays. Like I said earlier, you get a lot of food so you'll definitely be full. In terms of the quality I thought it was really good but for some reason I was just expecting a little more from the sandwich itself. Maybe it just didn't seem cheesy enough? I also feel like it was a tiny light on the spread they used. Im pretty sure it was a mayo. But I'd still try it again sometime. I really want to get a shout out to the Chicken and Waffle though. I'm so picky about this dish but I was really impressed with Copper Skillets. The chicken had good flavor and was juicy. Meanwhile the waffle had a great flavor and texture as well. We were handed black coffee in paper to-go cups with no offer of cream or sugar. When finally seated, our server mocked my request for a proper ceramic mug. Our meals arrived 10 minutes apart. Unacceptably, the toddler's pancakes were among the delayed plates. Because we wanted to eat together, the first three plates sat and got cold while we waited for the rest. Meanwhile, a party of four next to us received all their meals simultaneously. A neighboring server eventually stepped in to help because our assigned server was so inattentive. Our bill was $102, and though I left a $20 tip out of respect for the industry, the dismissive treatment and total lack of coordination were a dealbreaker. We will not be returning.

I appreciated that creamers (half & half and flavored), sugar, salt & pepper, ketchup, hot sauce, and syrup were already set at the table. No chasing anyone down for the basics -- they're already one step ahead. The menu carries that classic Bab's Delta Diner - Suisun Waterfront feel, but with the added bonus of Von's Korean Chicken offerings -- think crispy fried chicken, Yangnyum chicken, and even some Korean lunch specials you won't find at the Suisun location.
