We have come to Six Eleven several times now. We always eat outside because the area by the creek is very inviting. This is truly a great location and we've been fortunate to be there when they had live music on two occasions. This was the case on our most recent visit as well. The service is also always warm and friendly, from the Hostess to the bar to the wait staff. Now to the food. I always wish and hope it will meet my expectations for such a great spot. But I'm left wanting. Let's start with the disappointing so I can end with the good. I've had the shrimp scampi twice now. The shrimp are cooked nicely, plump and juicy. While I prefer capers with my scampi, that addition would have completely killed the dish because it was already overly salted. Shrimp are stored in salted water when they are caught and frozen, so there is no need to add more salt. And I love salt--don't get me wrong! I implore the chef to do a taste test with no added salt -- and then add capers! The noodles were good, however, despite the overly salted shrimp. The butter, garlic, wine sauce is tasty. We've also had their margarita pizza, and found it decent, but a little lacking in flavor. And we've had the calamari a couple of times. The first time we liked it - 4-stars! But this last time it had no flavor. We didn't finish it or ask for a to-go box. It was just flat and not very crispy. Consistency is not over-rated. W has always ordered the fish tacos and he loves them. I've had them, too, and also found them quite tasty. On their own, a solid 4-star dish. The good: outdoor patio is cute and they had a band. The bad: Chicken sandwich was tough and truffle fries were basically grease soaked battered sticks. My friend's fettuccini was inedible and we had to have them take it back. No cheese flavor at all. Just noodles in a greasy slurry. Ambiance is really nice and cozy. We went for family dinner and the place looks fancy. Service is good, the staff always check what we need, they greeted us with warm welcome. Food is too salty for our preference. First for the appetizer chicken wings (I thought maybe due to the marinate process of confit), but when I got my steak I can taste more of the salt than meat. Meatlover pizza is usually meat but was surprised it was garnished with peppers and onions. It still tasted good though not what we expected. I hope they can manage the sodium on their food for the health of their customers. read more

I had a small wedding reception that consisted of approximately 35 people. We showed up and was warmly welcomed by the staff. We had it outside and it was really nice. The weight staff amazing. I know our group wasn't the easiest to deal with they were all over the place but somehow these people pulled it off so smoothly. I know we gave them a run for their money. I think the one we delt with the most was named Christian. I'm hope I got his name right. He was really on top of it and always had a smile. Theu food waa great. Not one complaint. I'm giving this review 3 stars but maybe the slow Tuesday afternoon and the cook caused the poor meal issues. Everything else was very nice. This restaurant is in a remodeled home in the downtown area. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor dining areas. There are lots of stairs, and they also have an elevator to allow for access to their main floor of their restaurant. We enjoyed sitting and chatting in this restaurant. It has a charming feel and the waitstaff were very attentive. We ordered shaved street corn for an appetizer which was very yummy, we ate every bit of it. After that, we waited for a good amount of time for our meals (cook issue). Our waiter came by to check in with us during our wait and was very helpful. When we got our lunches, we found the salads were tasty but the chicken on the Southwest salad and the salmon on the Cesars salad were both dry and overcooked (cook issue). However the Mahi Mahi tacos were moist and tasty. So it was a bit hit and miss with our lunch meals. This is a nice looking location and the service was very nice. If they figure out the chef issue, then this will be a great place to meet and enjoy a meal. read more

Met my cousin here for brunch during the week which made it easy to get a table and they let us hang out for a couple of hours no problem. Started to get busy due to it being lunch which was nice to see. The venue is super cute too! Didn't get to sit outside but I do plan on going back when it is warmer just for that and maybe try another tasty food item! Me and my buddy decided to come visit here since another place was not open today. We've been here a while back when it was called "Fireside" so we decided to give it a try. Service...Not crowded at all... Initial order...delayed Napkins...asked 5x Checking in on how we were doing...rare Request for hot sauce...had to get it myself Asked to turn to the basketball game...said YES with a smile but never did. Paying for the bill wasn't asked if it was split or all and quickly ran my card. When can it be canceled? Said that she would have to get her manager to do so. Service is a big thing to me and my buddy and it lacked tremendously. One star was for the amazing cocktails. The other star was for the amazing food. The food was amazing i loved my experience. I really wanted to have my wedding reception here. Anytime i come here mid-day on weekdays there in rarely anybody. But when i called to book a reservation the manager told me if i sat inside upstairs ( its a attic ), its $125 an hour and to sit outside under the gazebo it was $175 an hour. That wasn't including food. So sitting outside for 3 hours it's $525. The reason i'm upset is that's a lot of money considering i wanted to book a thursday at 2pm for 20 people. This place is underrated! Went for lunch on a Sunday and there was ample seating. Ordered the tomato and burrata salad and a cup of clam chowder. All was tasty! The soup could have been a smidge hotter but was delicious otherwise. My son ordered the kids cheeseburger with fries which was big enough for teens (he's a toddler). My experience here is that the staff was super nice and efficient. Love the structure and atmosphere of the place, we sat outside to listen to the live music and even got up to dance, it was chilly but they had heaters to keep us warm. The FOOD was outstanding, we ordered the bruschetta for appetizer, the bread was toasted perfectly with burrata cheese and tomatoes and basil, our dinner was a veggie focaccia pizza, and there special that night was homemade cavetta pasta with chicken and artichoke hearts in a creamy lemon Alfredo sauce topped off with bacon bits. It was so flavorful and delicious. We had there award winning Martini, caught me off guard when he said there's a shot of egg white in it, but it was delicious as well! I advise against visiting this place if you're Black. My girlfriend and I went there for date night on Saturday (3/7/26) to see a cover band. We were seated in the restaurant area and ignored for nearly 20 minutes, despite the waitstaff making eye contact with us several times. We couldn't order or even sample the food. The previous good rated reviews on here seem to complete lies.....yes they're new but some of the issues from my lunch visit were not little things that should have been handled prior to opening the doors for business. The kitchen is afraid to cook to order it seems or doesn't know how and the servers don't know their menu. This all started when our server asked what we'd like to drink and he had no idea what they offered. He had to go to the bar to request the cans of seltzer to bring to the table to show us. First, he claimed they were tequilla based, which they are not. They're just a citrus seltzer. We ordered a burger medium rare that came out medium and a medium burger that came out well done. One of those burgers also came out missing half the topping ingredients, and the server didn't know it was even wrong. When we told him, he had to grab a menu to check. Our sliders came out with cheese, which was absolutely the kitchens fault as we verified on receipt that the server at least keyed this is correctly. We also attempted to order the zucchini fries, which they were already out of stock on....just weeks after opening and an hour after opening for the day, you're already out of stock on items? Unfortunately this was just a terrible experience and for the cost, is definitely not worth it. While we were so excited for a new offering in Martinez, because the town surely needs it, we will not be back. Hopefully they can correct their issues fast or sadly they'll be another one to not survive. read more

We come here regularly for the ambience... relaxing and not too loud. The service is great with friendly servers, bartenders and management. The food is always unique and delicious and they are good about having current sports on the TVs if you sit at the bar. Outdoor seating is the best in town right by the creek. Came to their grand opening today! Heard about this restaurant from a friend and decided to support and give it a try! Loved the ambience and modern decor of the restaurant! Even the restrooms were decorated well. The food was delicious! I ordered zucchini fries, ribeye steak, and the bread pudding. The zucchini fries came out looking like shoestring fries. It wasn't what I expected it to look like, but it was still good. The ribeye was cooked medium rare to my liking and was soft and tender to eat; flavored well, too. It came with steamed spinach which was good, and with fingerling potatoes which were also soft and good. The bread pudding was soft, good, and had a nice crust to the top of it. The gelato on top of the bread pudding was good, and the strawberry compote that was on the side was very good as well. The restaurant was pretty cool with inside dining, outdoor dining, a bar area, and some live music. Parking was easy, too! There is metered parking, but it's free on Saturdays and Sundays. Had a good time here and plan to be back! (I overheard another customer say that the short ribs and the calamari were good, so I want to come back and try those..and also the butterscotch pudding, which my server said was sold out today). read more

We've been coming to this place since it opened a year or so ago. First off - it's extremely clean, well set up, and easily accessed for anyone with walking challenges. There is a sweet little lift to the side of the front stairs. My kids love using it!! The other option is entrance to the side into their covered courtyard next to the creek. The menu is small, but there is something for everyone! The drinks are delicious, innovative, and well-made. Served in glassware that sets them apart and enhances the experience. Last evening my husband and I stopped in and sat at the bar. We noticed many folks coming in for a bite or a drink. Dogs are welcome on the patios, the servers are very kind and enjoyable to chat with. All are welcome!! Did I mention the food? OMG - we had 3 servings of their shrimp crostadas (or whatever they were - they were AMAZING) We ordered a to-go for our kids. Since then we have been back a couple of times just for their arancini. Every time I order it somewhere else I think of Six Eleven and judge them against theirs. We started with a glass of wine & the shoe string fried zucchini; the zucchini was yummy. We did an order of their salmon served over mashed potatoes & one of the specials - buffalo chicken wrap. The salmon was good; the chicken wrap came out cold though the wrap had obviously been heated as it had burnt/ charred spots about it. It may have helped if the plate was warmed, otherwise it was just cold all around. Meh We did dessert, the crème brûlée, which was not served in the proper dish, i.e., the dish should be shallower with more area to caramelize the top, so it come out crunchy or solid to break into, not the case here. Went here this Friday night and despite being busy and having to wait a little bit longer for service, it was so worth it. The hostess was very sweet and friendly, and took a minute to have a conversation with us despite being busy. The live music that was playing created a really nice, cozy, relaxed environment. We ordered great appetizers and the drinks were just as amazing. At the end of the night, we were given two drinks that the table next to us left before getting. My husband tried the Chicken Club pizza and my son ordered off the kid menu butter noodles and we added prawns. Clam Chowder was spot on delicious as the first visit but again the toast was hard and awkward to eat. Mexican Street Corn was better the first visit, I think there wasn't cheese added into the bowl like the first visit. Consistency is important so a miss there. My husband ordered the Muir Maple Old Fashion, I was pleased to see proper ice was used, bravo! The Plant Mom (Award Winning) cocktail was a true gem, excellent cocktail and highly recommend it. The ambience is stunning; we loved eating outside on the patio and had a much more elevated experience compared to our last time dining at this building when a previous restaurant existed which has since closed. The menu had so many enticing dishes, mostly Italian-themed fare. The drink menu likewise had several intriguing options; I got a mezcal-based cocktail that did not disappoint. We particularly enjoyed their take on arancini balls, which can be hit-or-miss outside of Sicily. My one disappointment was only receiving five prawns on my entree after ordering a vegetarian dish and requesting prawns for a $10 up-charge. If you look at what restaurants typically pay for shrimp per pound, this is a shameful profit margin and a fleecing of the customer. By contrast my wife likewise ordered a vegetarian dish and added the salmon, also for a $10 up-charge, and received a generous fillet that looked to be at least five ounces; the inconsistency is a bit confusing. I had to go home and have a protein shake to get my protein requirement for the day. I mentioned this to my waiter but he did nothing about it. I'll probably come back, but get the salmon next time. read more

The people, the food, the drinks, and the space are so incredible. I love the outdoor area and the bar. I've been here many times and I'm not even a Martinez local. I always look forward to the truffle fries, the plant mom drink, and the smiling faces of the people who work here. Thanks for always being so welcoming and talkative! Hope the late nights and other events continue more in the future. The only incident I've been upset with at the restaurant was a crazy lady customer who was acting unnecessarily privileged and rude. The manager was extremely professional and supportive of his team during the situation. I'm happy to support a business that supports their employees from annoying customers who don't understand the service industry. We have been to Six Eleven numerous times since the opening of the restaurant. The bar has always been fabulous, serving many creative and award winning cocktails as well as a variety of beers on tap. The food menu is creative and always delicious. I frequently order the burgers and truffle fries served with an aioli dip which I think is the best around. Burrata and tomato salad is another favorite as well as chicken wings and unique pasta dishes. The staff is always friendly and welcoming which makes you feel at home here.
