This Starbucks is my favorite. I don't get what all of the negative reviews are for. Hiccups happen. It's life. Anyways, I've been coming to this location for about a month now & no matter how busy they are they always have a smile on their faces. Even when they get those annoyed & grumpy customers who make their job harder than it has to be, they handle them quickly & professionally. I've never had an issue with this place or anyone who works here. It's always clean & completely stocked. Definitely will be my daily Starbucks location. read more

To whom it may concern, I come here way too often and 9/10 of the times i leave in a relatively timely manor. This past visit I get a tea. The young man who was working there said if I stay in the lobby, I get a free refill. I went back to the register 30 minutes later to redeem my free refill and he charged me 50 cents. I asked him why and he then told me "It's only free if you have a gold card" Talk about false advertising, he told me it was free until I redeemed my "free" refill then he preceded to tell me it's only free if I have a gold card. I love this Starbucks. Its not really on my way anywhere, but I will sometimes come to the Lowe's over here just so that I can go to this Starbucks (it's in the Lowe's parking lot). The service is fast and VERY friendly. It seems like they are never sold out of good things like brownies and cake pops. My only complaint is the lack of indoor seating (but that's probably not something that they can't change easily!). There is outdoor seating - however, the cars from the drive-thru go right by you! Not just because my daughter works there, well maybe.... One of the busiest starbucks in SoCal and it runs so smooth. The baristas are friendly and efficient. Early mornings shifts my daughter Mallorie with greet you with a smile and her sweet welcoming greeting. I always order a a carmel machiato upside down AND stirred and of course at 130° (just hot enough to drink right away!) and this starbucks is one of very few starbucks that makes it just the way I like it. read more

Gina at starbucks, the customer service industry is not for you and you are single-handedly driving people away. People like me don't think your coffee is that good Starbucks and we come out of necessity sometimes when there's nowhere else to go but now I will never come back simply because you have terrible terrible terrible customer service. The slowest service you will ever receive. I speak from SEVERAL experiences. It's the closest drive thru for me - so it is fine as long as I am not in a hurry to be anywhere for 20-30 mins... The people are okay. They aren't friendly but not rude. There is one girl that is ALWAYS smiling and I love when she works! I was very disappointed today. I was walking my dog and ordered a blonde Americana on the app. Walked up to pick it up and the cup was empty. 5 minutes later I was asked if I needed anything. I told them the empty blonde. Their said they were cleaning the blonde and it works be a few minutes. 5 minutes later I was asked if I wanted another coffee or if I wanted to wait. had they asked 5 minutes earlier I would have said it was fine I'll take what they have. I was disgruntled by then and walked out saying no thank you cancel the order. Many orders were filled while I was waiting and I saw no one cleaning anything... This is a poorly run location, even though it is well-staffed. They give priority to lazy drive-through customers over those that actually come into the store. That is the exact opposite of how service levels should go, and creates longer lines at the drive thru that block traffic. Merch is directly in the way of where a line would form.... They clearly don't want you in here. Take your business to another, more friendly and competent location if you actually take the time to go in. read more

Im officially going to give this location 5 stars for one reason and one reason only. The afternoon young ladies who runs the drive thru is such a rock star. I never ask her name and i always forget to ask but she is a valuable employee. This young lady always greets me with a hello and how are you and it never feels forced and she is truly a genuinely nice person. She always is courteous and helpful and for some reason i truly appreciate this level of service. One time i placed an order and unfortunately they were out of my specific cookie that my 3 year old nephew likes but she was quick to come up with an alternative and just in general really seems to be present in the moment and eager to help the customer. I specifically come here after a long day and grab my cold coffee and always choose the drive thru because of her great service. Sorry i dont know your name but you know who you are. Free wifi with purchase. Coffee houses are always a calm & great place to study. I like Starbucks but also like other places like the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Peet's Coffee, and Keans Coffee. They're all special and different in their own way. This place gets super busy in the mornings so be prepared to wait and know what to expect. Usually go through the drive through and smile with the friendly baristas there, but decided to go inside the other day. From the moment I walked in I felt like I was an inconvenience. I'm usually not that sensitive, but after I kept trying to be nice and kept getting shut down by this miserable lady at the register whose name starts with a G. I realized why she's at the register and away from the busier part of the store, the drive through. Even though she should be in the back not showing off her major case of RBF. Meh. I am not going to tell you about the coffee, seating, parking, wifi and drive thru. (They are all good and you can read about them in other post.) I want to point out the good that this Starbucks is doing along with some other corporate stores. I love feeding the homeless and I like the fact they help feed Long Beach homeless. They donate their foods to local shelters and missions in long beach. You would think all Starbucks do this but a last they do not. One of my favorite Starbucks actually throw away all their food which is a shame. I hope all Starbucks corporate and franchise start doing the same thing. The reason for the four stars instead of five is because the service for the most part is really good but there are two servers here that make my teeth itch. When they leave I will give this Starbucks a 5 star rating. 7/28/17 I had to write about my experience with Gina today. (please note she is mentioned in other post about her attitude) This is on of the baristas I spoke about above. This took the cake today. I said Hi to her twice and she still just said how may I help you. I even said to her, I said hi to you twice and she said how may I help you. I ordered a panini. I saw she was about to put it into a bag and I asked her for a house plate. She said okay and then went to put it in a bag. I said may I have a house plate. She said I thought you said house plant. HOUSE PLANT REALLY???? At Starbucks. House Plant! You agreed to a house plant. Now that is not what got me but when she went to get the house plate and threw it down. That is when it became to much. Just left this Starbucks. When I placed my order the dumb broad asked me my name and didn't put a sticker on the cup. So when my order was ready they didn't know who it was for or what I ordered. Why ask for my name if you're not going to use a sticker. Then the barista who made my drink asked her who it was for and she says oh I don't know just call out the drink. This is my preferred Starbucks to go to on my way to work, early in the morning. I have done both walk in orders and drive thru orders. They're very quick and have my favorite salad in stock when I come in. This is the worst Starbucks in this area. No matter how many times I go here they're consistently disappointing. I'm not ordering anything crazy just a regular coffee with half and half and they only put a drop of half and half in despite what I ask them. Then fill the cup completely to the brim and jam the lid on so it spills all over me and in my car. I've been stopping in here for years, and it gets busier and busier all the time. They must be doing something right. My new routine is to stop in on Friday mornings for a cup of coffee. I never do the drive thru because it's so busy, so I walk in and wait in line. Wish I knew the name of the cashier who helps me, because no matter how long the line is, she's equally pleasant to every single customer. A smile, a nice word, a thank you, all while moving the line along and making sure everybody gets what they want. The only negative thing to say is that sometimes they get so busy it's hard to get the barristas' attention if there's an empty milk carafe that might need filling. read more

without fail, every time I go through this drive thru it takes 15-20 min. It's a long time. I go through these a lot, this one probably isn't run as efficiently as it could be. Consider adjustments?
