I come to this Starbucks occasionally before work since it's super close by, but the drive-thru is almost ALWAYS long. Sometimes I'll just park and go inside because it honestly feels faster. Today though? A miracle. The line was short, so I flew through the drive-thru. When I'm hungry, I usually go for the double-smoked bacon sandwich or a blueberry muffin, and for drinks it's either a green tea lemonade, an iced matcha latte with strawberry cold foam, or on colder days, a white chocolate mocha. Today I kept it simple with a green tea lemonade and a breakfast sandwich, and it hit the spot perfectly. Something about that first sip and bite right after clocking in just sets the tone for the day. Big, clean space. Nice restrooms without a code. Plenty of electrical outlets and now they are serving hot coffee and iced drinks in ceramic mugs and tall glass cups. Amazing! There are also 4 BLNK Electric Vehicle charging locations in the parking lot out front, so you can sip and charge at the same time. The only thing I don't like is that the exits to this parking lot are rough. You have 2 options, Lakewood Blvd where you can only go North and cannot turnaround until you go under both overpasses and reach Spring St. Or you can take Willow and go East, where you might not escape getting pushed onto the 405 S on ramp, and if you get across those 2 lanes you have to go under both overpasses and cannot turnaround until you get all the way to Clark. read more

I need to remember not to come to this location's drive thru. Consistently the slowest drive thru of any Starbucks I've ever been to. It's close to the freeway so of course it's always busy, but the one at the traffic circle could have just as many cars but goes twice as fast. Just a heads up! This Starbucks is the worst at 5am with the exception of IVAN (he is amazing) every single morning that I've come thru the drive thru I wind up having my morning ruined. They take so long making a drink. Even if it's only 2-3 cars ahead, when I finally get up to the window expecting my coffee will be ready since I've been waiting in line for a long period of time only to have to wait for them to even start my drink order and they are always talking too much. I swore I would never go back to this SB ever again, so Sat morning I decided after a month not going to this location I would give them another try. 2 cars ahead of me and I literally waited 14 minutes not even including waiting at the window. I asked the barista WHY ? WHY it takes so long, she claimed they have alot of online orders, all other SB never take this long and they are way busier. So I will not be returning to this SB even if it is more convenient for me. It's not worth the high blood pressure first thing in the morning. I would hope management would fix the issue cuz I'm sure I'm not the only person frustrated with this location. Corner of Willow & Lakewood next to Jack in the box. I want to express my sincerest appreciation to the 2 male employees working near closing time on Tuesday (5/27/25). I had a long drive to the airport nearby only to find out the flight was delayed. People staying for hours take up the needed parking spaces for other potential customers, not just for Starbucks, but for also the next door businesses. There is no parking throughout the day in that parking lot partly because of some of the Starbucks customers just hanging around for hours.
