The drive thru at this location is painfully slow. I once waited in line for 15 minutes without moving at all. I had to leave without anything so I wouldn't be late to work. If you come to this location, go inside and be prepared to wait no matter what. read more

The other day I had driven extra miles just to go through the drive-thru location in Ladera Ranch off Antonio Parkway. Let me tell you I am a gold member and loyal, daily starbucks customer. Jade, the young woman had served me in the drive-thru. I had ordered a Venti Violet drink and asked for light ice. Jade gave me extra ice and a pink drink instead. I complained politely and she refused to give me a new drink. She finally had given me a new drink and she did not put the lid on all the way and she did not give me the larger straw. I was in a hurry to take my son to school, the drink was for his teacher who has allergies. I am dissapointed in this experience and I hope it won't happen again because I love starbucks. this is a bad location and if you get an asian girl named Jade don't be surprised if you receive bad service!! read more

This is the slowest Starbucks ever! Their only concern is servicing the drive thru. Even mobile orders are ignored in deference to the drive thru. Stay away unless you are willing to wait 20 minutes for your order. read more

This Starbucks is generally pretty good as long as if you are going in the store you don't park in a spot where you might get blocked in from the drive through line. I tried to place a mobile order today for two items. One of the items was a venti dark coffee and the mobile app showed the location was out. So I ordered the one item and went to the store. In store they had the dark roast. I asked the cashier why the mobile app said they were out and she explained a number of people noted that and they don't know why it's happening. This seems lame to me and I'm guessing she just had no clue and no interest in finding out. It won't stop me from coming here but what use is the technology if it doesn't work. read more

People of Ladera...freakin relax!!! They are doing the best they can! I am giving them 4 stars because yes, there are improvements that need to be made. That being said, from what I have seen of the customers, why would the employees be nice??? ya'll are SO RUDE!!!! Yes, I waited a long time for my drink, I also watched the employees hustle with the 20 other drinks they are trying to make and deal with your horrible attitudes because the printer did not print out your frappuccino sticker. It's unbelievable that after 6 months or more they were not able to put together a team that cannot take care of at least get the cashier lane moving or know about how to prepare a espresso cofee.. Is it possible to like the inside of a Starbucks location but absolutely hate it's drive thru? Cause that's how I feel about this Starbucks! The number of times I've had my order messed up in the drive thru ordering is unbelievable. I don't always have time to park and go back inside to correct it either because this drive thru line moves slower that others in my opinion. My order ain't that difficult Starbucks.. It's literally just iced tea. It's already pre-made!!! Sometimes I'll add a breakfast sandwich and 7/10 times it will be the wrong sandwich even after I've asked if they have the one I want still in stock. I'm only giving stars for the inside of this location because I like how many tables and outlets are available for studying or doing work. But since they've moved the drive thru line to wrap around the parking lot, I'll avoid this location because getting out of this lot during Starbucks peak hour is a nightmare. read more

First time visiting this location. I pulled up to give my order and the gentleman told me he'd be right with me....10 minutes later, my order was taken. Literally, ten minutes!!! The line ahead of me had already cleared! And the line behind me was piling up. For someone who wanted a quick coffee run, that was totally inconvenient. It's a place where the best of the best coffee is! Starbucks is the #1 international coffee chain! You walk in and the warm smell of creamy and sweet coffee wafts around the room. The place is spaced out and has many nice tables. The store and the bathrooms are clean. The service is nice and friendly, and the taste of the coffee is rich and delicious. They also have food that is delicious, warm and fresh like a buttery, warm, and greasy cheese bagel or a flaky croissant. They have a fresh and pretty inside with comfortable looking places to eat and drink. I'd come here every morning if I could! read more

Everything is great EXCEPT for the drive thru, the process to get into the drive thru is a joke as they have you drive in a complete circle and then make a u-turn to get into their drive-thru line, but before you can get there people cut through the orange cones that tells them to go the other way, thus, cutting you off in the drive thru line! So, want to love this Starbucks, I really do. But literally everytime I decide to give it another try, I am disappointed. I went in this morning, and yes they were busy-ish (I've seen it way worse). I ordered a skinny vanilla latte, and when I received my drink, it was indeed a latte, however, it was made without the vanilla. Now, once in a while this is ok, but this has happened several times at this location only. When I brought it up to the barista that it had no vanilla, the person behind the espresso machine muttered something under her breath, and rolled her eyes. I have seen this person several times when I visit this location, and each time she is rude. It's disappointing that such an unhappy, unfriendly person is working there. The worst part, I gave them a tip, that they 100% did not deserve! I will be going to the Crown Valley location from this point on, and NOT make this mistake again! I have had drinks stolen, never made, and been honked and yelled at by other customers in the drive thru line because no one had taken my order for 15 minutes! I'm giving a four star only because I had many bad experiences at this Starbucks with all the new people who are constantly being trained at the location. There is no coffee without a barrista . That being said, I had a bad experience a few weeks ago I practically left crying. Yes, I said it, I love coffee! so I get emotional about it. This Starbucks rocks! My family and I frequent almost everyday for good reason as the food, beverages, and service are EXCELLENT! Everyone is always very nice and friendly and I usually have very large orders. My daughters love the breakfast and refresher drinks and occasional coffee. My husband and I new favorite is the black iced tea with light lemonade and extra ice. It always taste wonderful. read more
