This is a great Starbucks location. For starters, the lobby is huge which is a great plus- I like to hangout in the lobby to study and there are many table options and the wifi is great. It's also a drive thru location and they take pride in their speed in the morning for those of you in a hurry. Also for a new drive thru, I have noticed that their staff are well trained and extremely efficient. I've gone through the drive thru a couple times and each time it didn't take longer than 3-5 minutes. I usually order an early grey tea latte with vanilla and it's been to my satisfaction every time! I also recommend trying the cold brew iced coffee or classic coffee cake. I'm also a fan of the peppermint white mochas during the holiday season. read more

This is for the rude employee working drive through last week. Brown haired male. So rude and disrespectful to me. I was ordering and drink for my mother and I and needed to pay with cash and credit. He told me that would make it harder on him but he would do it just this time? Are you kidding? I work with POS systems 24/7-do I need to teach you how to enter in cash first? And also, if your committed to top customer service, why would you complain to your customer that "it would be a bother" which we both know isn't. Not coming back here. Slowest drive thru in the world. I timed it last time and it took 45 minutes!! And all three drinks were wrong, so they gave me a $4 gift card to make up for it. I have been here twice and I have to agree with some of the other yelpers on here that I don't think their lattes are very consistent. I usually order a skinny mocha and they vary on how sweet they taste. Maybe too many pumps of the sugar free syrup to compensate for the sweetness of being sugar free? One time I ordered a breakfast sandwich and they forgot it. The guys prepping heated food made it right away but then kind of quickly threw it in the bag to make up for the time I was waiting. That's great but the sandwich kind of fell apart in the bag so it was a little hot mess. Overall it is an OK store. I think Starbucks addicts will still go there for their fix and its not bad, its just not a Starbucks where coffee fans absolutely need to go. Don't worry about it. I had some meh experiences here but then I would say I have the usual Starbucks experience. I got what I want and that's all I really was looking for; no more, no less. This is the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. The hours said that this location was open until 10pm and when I arrived at 9:35 in the drive thru, no one answered us at at the order station. After saying "hello" and "anyone there" for 3 minutes we just pulled up to the window. We looked inside and saw 4 employees mopping and cleaning up without acknowledging us. Again we sat for a few minutes trying to get their attention and nothing. Not even a glance over. Why would an establishment start to close up 25 minutes before it closes. Didn't even say "sorry we are closed early" or anything just ignored us almost a half hour before closing. Ridiculous. Will not be returning. read more

Worst Starbucks I've ever been to. I've been here twice and both times were awful. The most unfriendly staff I have ever encountered and no one seems to be informed about their products. First time I stepped foot there I thought they were understaffed because the wait was ridiculous and no one greeted us. Second time we went in for the unicorn drink and again the staff was unfriendly and after waiting in line we were told they were out of the powder to make the unicorn drink. The cashier didn't even make an effort to sell us something else or apologize for not having the product, he was like "we ran out of the powder to make it" and that was it. I drove a couple of mikes to the other Starbucks on crown valley and it was like the and night, great friendly staff and they had our drink! The "assistant manager" was unwilling to give me a free drink after a new worker got rid of my free rewards instead of my birthday one (which then expired). The manager, Cassie, at the time told me to come in anytime to get a free drink and was very nice and apologetic . Oh, but not Skip. He lectured me about waiting too long to get my free drink. When my daughter tried to get my drink he refused. So I went in to fix the situation, only to be lectured like a child. I said, are you fucking kidding me? He acted like I had just insulted his mother. He told me I was not allowed to speak that way in this "family setting". Then I really became irate. Apparently, he's my dad. He may have trying to be cool or save face in front of two employees that were there chatting it up before he finally took my order. The two friend employees, definitely got a show. I told him if you're going to put a time limit on my free drink due to your error, then let me know. I don't always come to this Starbucks. Then my drink was made incorrectly but it was fixed by a very nice barista. Looks like this Starbucks might need some new management. I hope I don't run into this Skip guy again. read more

Eric with a C I paid for extra caramel and one of the people put hardly caramel and I asked him nicely to put more on it he got a different cup put a whole ton of caramel and dumped my old drink into the new cup and made it perfectly! Drive thru service is ok.. just need more people that are a little more friendly working the windows. Inside the store its the same.. rude people and for some reason everytime i go inside SOOOO many people are waiting for drinks and i look behind the counter and all the employees are working sooo slow.. theres literally ONE cashier person even if the line is out the door! They need to do something about that! I only go here for the drive thru when I have my kids with me and can't get down. HUGE ASS LINE EVERYDAY {mostly mornings} as to be expected. Thank god for call ahead ordering. When I have been inside however, it is clean and the staff are super nice and always smiling. They are quick even without call ahead ordering. Nice option to have a drive thru location and a walk in only location so close to me. Yay for an actual Starbucks in Ladera!!! Now I won't have to go inside creepy Haggen or drive down crown valley for my latte. This is a nice, new location with lots of room inside and an inviting vibe. I've been both inside and gone through the drive thru. The drive thru was a bit slow....there were 3 cars in front of me and the whole process took 20 mins from getting in the line to getting my drinks. Most people go through the drive thru because they're in a hurry.....not so much here....lol. I thought inside was faster, honestly. The employees were all friendly and smiling inside. It does seem like they are still working out some of the "kinks" to ensure that it runs smoothly. Overall, I'm really stoked that there is a real Starbucks in this part of Ladera now.
