Service is excellent at the ladera Ranch location. The bowls, juices and smoothies are fantastic. I usually order through the app and the orders have historically been accurate and tastes great!! This review is specific to the celery cleanse and the new waffle item in the menu. Despite the 3 ingredient celery cleanse, I will not ever order it again. I purchased the celery cleanse for convenience. I had planned on creating a smoothie recipe that called for celery juice. This celery juice tasted really suspect. I wonder if it was the plastic container that gave it a "suspect" taste. I doubt I will ever be ordering it again, unless it's available in a glass container. Same goes for the waffle item on the menu. If you are wanting a sweet snack by all means order it but I must say that there is nothing healthful or special about the waffle in their menu. I will not be ordering it again. read more

I think this was called the Glow Getter? It was super good, very filling. I love stopping by nektar after the gym. The staff is always so friendly and helpful with new recommendations. So bright inside and filled with happy workers I love it. Definitely love the peanut butter protein shake. I always have to get a ginger shot. read more

Who knew Nekter sold ice cream? I cannot wait to try it. They have some great drinks and bowls. I'd recommend if you frequent, then get the app or sign up for their rewards; worth it! Ordering it about 10-15 minutes from pick up is ideal and you'll find your name on your order in the mini fridge case on the counter. Weirdly, my favorite item is the 1-day cleanse (6 bottles). Probably should have thoroughly read the instructions for the after. It's a great reset! After the 3rd bottle, my body felt better...and I was not feeling unwell. There are also 2- and 3-day cleanse, also a 6-day detox. This Ladera Ranch location has plenty of tables outside and just a few stools at the window counter on the inside. read more

We placed an online delivery order today and one part of our order was completely missing. Normally I wouldn't complain and I would just contact the source but apparently no one at this store wants to answer the phone no matter how many times we call. Someone needs to rectify this situation because the delivery guy was literally no help whatsoever and also apparently doesn't know how to drive straight down crown valley to get to our house. Nektar shouldn't offer delivery through their app if they want to make it so hard to get a hold of someone to fix the problem Update- corporate refunded my order however this location is not run well. I still won't recommend because we called over ten times when our order was wrong and they never once answered. read more

I love every single thing I've had at Nekter and never stick to the same order. It's very easy to order in the app and pick up whatever I'm craving when it's ready. I can even schedule my order to pick up later at a specific time. The prices are comparable to any other quality smoothie or bowl in the area but I choose Nekter because of the convenience of the multiple locations and the rewards. The only reason I took off a star is because of the strong Fabuloso cleaner smell. It's very off-putting for me to smell strong chemicals around food. Cleanliness is very important but I personally don't like the strong smell of Fabuloso. read more

Nekter Juice Bar - Almond Butter Bowl - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Ladera Ranch, California

Unfortunately, the experience I witnessed was very upsetting. While I was standing in line, a woman came in to place a large order for her business. She politely asked an employee for help. The employee responded coldly, saying they were busy and told her to order through the screen. The woman calmly explained that she needed more than 15 bowls, but the online ordering system only allows up to five bowls at a time. Instead of offering a solution or even acknowledging her concern, the employee said nothing, turned away, and started walking off. The woman said "excuse me" several times to get their attention. I also said "excuse me" to help, but the employee ignored us. The blender was running loudly, so the woman slightly raised her voice just to be heard over the noise. The employee then yelled at her, accusing her of raising her voice, even though she was clearly trying to speak over the blender. The woman looked heartbroken and ended up walking out. I was honestly in shock after witnessing this and decided to leave as well. I went instead to Rancho Mission Viejo Nekter and a woman told me she planned to go to the Rancho Santa Margarita location. I truly hope she was treated with the kindness and help she deserved there. Even another customer at the Ladera was shaking his head in disbelief over what had happened. The employee involved appeared to be a teenager(blonde) 12/18 11am staff. I truly hope management addresses this, because no customer; especially one being polite and patient, shouldn't be treated this way. read more

Slow as molasses. And the 2 girls in the back were cursing up a storm dropping hella F-bombs while talking about "background checks". Would recommend any other nektar location over this one. I ordered one small smoothie at 4:27 and didn't get it until 4:47 after I had to ask for it (people that came in after me were getting their orders). read more

Terrible service. The two girls in the back were nonchalant and having their own conversation while there were plenty of people waiting for their order. One guy ordered his drink before I even walked in and I got my order before he did! Corporate needs to figure out how to better manage this location because based on the already terrible reviews, nothing has changed. read more

Nekter is usually an amazing place to go, but today was off. First of all, my acai bowl was only HALF of the way filled up instead of fully filled, which is unacceptable. Secondly, I paid 3$ extra to get extra blueberries, bananas, and strawberries, and I got less fruit than I would get in a normal bowl. Barley got any bananas, blueberries, and strawberries, and I paid extra to get more. The day before I ordered the exact same thing and the bowl was fully filled, and I got plenty of fruit. I think it was just a lazy employee who did not want to work. Please train your employees (mainly new) to actually work. read more

We love Nektar! Been a customer for years. We came in to grab some bowls and a smoothie for ourselves and our toddler. Waited 45 min for three times! My husband had to ask where our items were because everyone else was receiving their orders that came way after us. They gave a blank stare, found our receipt and said oh ok we'll work on that now. They completely forgot about us! No apology! What in the world. Our poor two year old was hungry and so over it. Not cool. read more

I came in a week later to see if they had turned the music down, they finally turned it down so it's possible to actually talk to the person who's helping you. From now on, I will only pay with cash because when you pay with a credit card it forces you into giving them a tip. The choices are either no tip or larger tip than I think is necessary. I don't mind giving a dollar tip but there's no choice for that. And once more, you have to tip before you get service so you don't know whether or not it's good service or not. I reward good service, but I hate to tip prior to knowing what I'm going to be getting. In this case, they should've tipped me the service was pretty slow. Next time, I bring cash. read more

Worst smoothie I have ever gotten in my life!!!!!! Came out like water. Not sure what this store is doing anymore maybe they're cutting back on ingredients or just management just isn't caring anymore but this needs to change. On top of it I had to wait like 40 minutes for it. They need to change this asap maybe new staff all around. Ewww they use POWERED COCONUT WATER!!!! wow not worth the money read more

This place is one of the better among the smoothie places I've gone to. Great customer service but sometime gets the order wrong. One time I ordered the peanut and jelly smoothie and asked for extra jelly. What I got was less jelly than you would usually get if you didn't order extra. Most of the time they are really good with a good texture but be warned sometimes they are a bit watery. For real, this smoothie calms me and anger issues down. BIG TIME! Especially when I just rage quit on Fortnite after a 8 year old sniped me and started to giddy on my loot. In all seriousness this place hits hard. Love you guys. Stay tuned for more reviews. read more

They are so slow! Order in advance or you will wait along time. Staff slow. No sense of urgency.

Incredibly consistent, I always order ahead of time via app and they always have it ready! Nice girls that work there!

As a long term Ladera resident, I've been coming to this location since it opened. Unfortunately, I can't say I'll likely be back to this location especially when there's two others within close proximity. Came in with my toddler Thursday afternoon. Walked in and there was not a single employee in sight. I honestly thought they might have closed early because I heard and saw no one. So odd. I said "Hello?" and then heard someone in the back but another minute went by and still no one came up. Then another minute went by and nothing. At this point I was getting annoyed and about ready to leave when finally someone came out from doing whatever back of house work was happening. Her demeanor was fine but not overly friendly or apologetic for the poor experience. I ordered my smoothie and asked to purchase a gift card. She made some comment about needing to input the numbers manually which I didn't understand but exclaimed that was fine, however the gift card needed to be input into the system. A minute later she told me that the gift card showed a $0 balance. Huh? I re-explained I was making a gift card purchase so yes, there was currently a $0 balance and the funds needed to be added. She was clearly flustered at this point and said she didn't know how to load gift cards so she'd be back with a manager. Out comes the manager who didn't make eye contact or say a single thing to me. Pretty odd client experience! The smoothie came out quickly but unfortunately it tasted watery and wasn't fully blended. For the above reasons I won't be back, sorry Nekter. read more

It's "healthy" and refreshing but definitely a higher priced smoothie/juice/acai place.

This has always been a location I go to weekly, but the past couple of months the service has been exceptionally slow. Everytime there's no more than 2 people working, sometimes even just 1 person. I actually feel bad for the workers having to take on 10+ orders during rush with little to no help. I always order online to avoid delays, however I STILL find myself waiting 25-30 minutes on every order-no exaggeration. The same goes for delivery services every time I'm in there waiting. Definitely need to work on staffing issues. read more

I always order here. But today, I am very unhappy with my bowl. Came out like water. And I asked for granola on the side. But of course, I find that there is granola inside the bowl. It's like they don't even pay attention to my order. Unfriendly employees. I will not be coming here anymore. read more

Made my day!!! I went to Nekter to get a ginger shot and first of all it was fantastic and make me feel energized and ready for the day! Secondly the worker (Kenzie I think was her name) was so nice and thoughtful and actually asked me how I was and it truly blessed me just a simple interaction like that makes me want to go back to Nekter! You guys are all the best and I greatly appreciate all you've done for me, even without knowing it! read more

Great service and loved the recommendation I got! I normally get an acai bowl or the Pink Flamingo, but I tried the Tropical Cooler for the first time, and it was delicious! Let me start out by saying that I'm a big fan of juicing and making smoothies. In fact, I make myself one every morning! I purchase organic ingredients and blend it all up in my Nutribullet. Nekter is a nice juice bar located in a very nice shopping area in Ladera Ranch. Now here is the breakdown: Customer service 5 stars: The customer service is excellent! They are super friendly and fast to get your drinks, even when there's a long line. The guy that was helping me even went above and beyond, offering me a small cup of juice to cover the overflow of ice from a large drink I ordered. Juices 2 stars: I ordered a large toxin flush (parsley, spinach, apples, lemon and ginger). The 32 oz was $8.75. This was a really good combination and I make a similar one at home usually. The ginger did over-power the drink, but I didn't mind it too much. The description for the drink is "This drink will help your body to naturally rid itself of toxins in the blood and liver and soothe your tummy too." Now here my BIG problem with that statement--they do NOT offer an organic product, therefore their juices DO contain pesticides, as spinach and apples, for example are on the dirty dozen list. Technically, I'm not sure about the accuracy of their statement. If their products contain pesticides, doesn't that mean it will add toxins to the body as well...? They also have a cleanse program....but...I think I'm safer sticking with my usual routine.... 12 Most Contaminated according to the Environmental Working Group ewg.org: Peaches Apples Sweet Bell Peppers Celery Nectarines Strawberries Cherries Pears Grapes (Imported) Spinach Lettuce Potatoes read more

This is my favorite location and it just so happens to be in my neighborhood (finally!!) A few reasons to love: (1) The STAFF. Every time I've come in they have a smile on their face and are eager to be of service (night and day compared to staff at RSM location). I don't know the guy's name but he's usually there in the mornings and seems to maybe be the manager on duty but he is awesome! Great attitude. (2) healthy juices/smoothies for anyone who doesn't like the hassle of cleaning their juicer ;) (3) Grab N Go drinks for people who are living a healthy lifestyle but don't have the time to wait for their juices (4) Protein Poppers - coconut flavored...sooo yummy (5) Ginger shots - add cayenne & lemon (6) Tropical Cooler Smoothie or Toxin Flush juice depending on what mood I'm in The Not So Good: (1) tiny location - so the line gets awkward....but there is some seating outside (2) parking - one way streets make it a hassle in this shopping center...and forget even coming here if there is a Ladera event going on (i.e. summer concerts) (3) If it's busy, you will wait at least 10 minutes for your drink so you have to gauge the line when you get there, that's when I usually do the Grab N Go Re: The 3 Day Cleanse: I personally didn't like it, didn't feel a difference afterwards. It's not for everyone - research before you buy. But take advantage of when they are doing their cleanse sales to save some $$. WAYS TO SAVE $$: If you buy their eco-friendly cup you get a free 16 oz drink and then get 50 cents of every drink purchase every time you come in using your cup. Also, if you buy a $25 gift card you get a free 16 oz drink. Get a "Nekter rewards" card - you get a free drink after every 10 visits. read more

Decided to give Nekter another try, i'm upset to say i'm once again disappointed. I'm not one to leave bad reviews but when I pay $10 for a berry smoothie that tastes like water I feel the need to say something. Had to get a second opinion in case I was getting sick, and I was right, tastes like a waste of my money. I don't think it's the employees fault considering this has been a reacquiring problem for the past 2 years I have tried Nekter. read more

I got the dragonfruit bowl with blue chia added in. I've had this bowl before, but without the chia and it tasted really good. I should have kept it without. Lol. I would come back for their bowls because they are usually tasty...just not with their chia mixed in. read more

Well, it is really all about what you order here. After a bad experience my first time I took a longer look at what the flocks of people outside this place order. Smoothies and Bowls both of which, everyone I have had is Great!!! Also they recently changed their juice menu and there is a new beet juice called the little beet. Much more beet flavor, still secretly like the beet juice up the street better, but this is now a very close second! My favorite smoothie: pink flamingo My favorite juice: the little beet My favorite bowl: any of them! Also the seasonal pumpkin smoothie makes me so so happy! read more

This is an upscale juice bar. They have all the super healthy pressed, squeezed, blended, etc... juices. If you're looking for some crazy health juice thing this is your place. I've only been here a couple of times but enjoyed it. My most recent visit was with my wife and our little girl and we got a Acai bananna berry bowl. We wanted to try something more healthy as an after dinner treat and were easily able to split this between all 3 of us. It cost $8 but was well worth it. My favorite Nekter location! They're always so helpful and get my stuff out quick. Definitely recommend the PB bowl! So good.

I usually get the green smoothies and often add ginger to the mix. Super delicious. A little on the $$$/side but well worth it. I haven't tried the Acai bowls which seem to be why many people come here. I guess I'll have to try one of these days. However, I can absolutely recommend the green smoothies, especially if you're starting to feel like you're coming down with something... Definitely seems to boost my immune system. read more

Friendly, knowledgeable, and overall great customer service!! I've frequented many stores, but the Ladera Ranch location is my fav! I must give kudos to both Jackie and Krista! They're so personable, knowledgeable, and genuine. I had been sick so I was getting juices everyday and they helped me so much by recommending additional juices for wellness and immunity. Both have always greeted me with a smile (which is so nice nowadays), and they both are thoughtful and sincere! They were not only cheering me up, but cheering me on the whole time it took me to get better. The juices are fresh pressed right there and then, giving their products maximum nutrients and health benefits--a huge plus. They remembered me at my second visit and took the time to ask how I was feeling...No other store can compete when it comes to customer service. They call me by name now as I do with them. I feel like I have two new friends! So naturally, this has become my favorite store! Thanks Jackie and Krista!! See you soon. read more

Terrible customer service. My wife placed a mobile order today at 12:00pm for a 12:15pm pick up. Order was not ready when we got there and was told they never got an order under her name. Then they said they just got a few orders in so it should be ready. My wife waited patiently for 10mins and her order never came. I was in the car with our newborn for 30mins while my wife had to ask them 3x about her order. They suggested she sent it to the wrong store and demanded to see her phone to verify. Once they saw it they made it. If there would have been a apology, or they offered it up for free since it was 30mins later than expected I wouldn't be writing this review. Why did it take 30mins for them to find a solution?? Has this never happened before? No one in that store took responsibly to take care of her. I get it, it's a juice shop, we aren't expecting great customer service but why did she have to repeatedly ask? The staff just didn't care. read more
