The smoothie itself was very icy. I got multiple chunks of ice as I was scooping through the bowl. I am not sure if that is a one off occurrence or because of the nature of the ingredients. I've been here a couple of times for the healthy smoothies, which are delicious. But this time I tried the hot chocolate with organic cacao and soybean milk. It was really delicious: rich, frothy, flavorful. I also decided to do some work and the atmosphere and ambiance in the shop is very pleasant. Nice music, comfortable chair and table and a great, relaxed vibe. The woman who served me behind the counter was very friendly. Definitely a place I'll go back to --- not just for the smoothies and hot chocolate, but the ambiance too. I'll try the coffee next time. While Thrive has delicious organic, GF, and dairy-free options as well as friendly staff, I've asked them to please make sure to secure the coffee cups. Every time I go there more coffee spills on the drive back onto my passenger car seat as well as the garage floor. The bottom of the bags are soaking in coffee so that I lose a lot of the coffee and the bag integrity decreases so that it rips. Even after asking them to please secure the coffee cups better, the coffee still spills everywhere. They have made efforts to improve the security of the coffee, but the stickers pop off and don't help. It would be great if Thrive started using sticks to insert into the opening on the lids like how Starbucks does. For now I use a plastic bin to avoid the coffee spilling onto my car seat and I just clean the bin after the coffee has spilled. read more

But I came for juice at the end of the day, and the selection of bottled juices was slim pickings. I guess, I better come in earlier in the day, next time. I love their philosophy on their products. I grabbed 3 bottles of Hardcore, and 4 juice shots. Their juices tasted fresh and delicious. Hardcore was just pure green vegetable juice with a very strong flavor. While I thought this place was pricey, I will return just for the organic freshness. Also, keep your glass bottles to return to them to apply towards your next round of juices. They are 50 cents each, I believe. If you're into fresh organic juice, it's worth the trip to check them out. read more

I love the acai bowls here, my favorite is the PB Acai. The ingredients taste fresh and there are plenty of customization options. All of the staff are friendly and always helpful when navigating the menu. They have a great rewards program too which is a plus - The points never expire, and they don't spam with texts/emails.
