This is my second time recently order Teaspoon. The first was with DoorDash, and this time I walked in to pick up my order which I placed online ahead of time. I have tried the guava sunset, the lychee, tea, lychee, and Thai iced tea. My favorite is the guava sunset with lychee popping Boba. I like that you can adjust the sweetness. The woman who was at the counter making drinks was super friendly and helpful. Very cool vibes inside there's quite a few little sweet treats you can also purchase. And I really think this menu has something for everyone. Prices are pretty reasonable overall. I wish I could get a larger size or maybe extra ice. I'll have to put a comment next time in my online orders. The guava sunset taste like the fruit cocktail juice in those little fruit cups. It's just very refreshing and fruity. The lychee tea with lychee jelly was OK. I probably would've adjusted the sweetness next time as it was too overly sweet for my liking. Overall, this a really cool place. read more

We were walking over to CVS. In this little shopping area and saw this new tea spot called Teaspoon ! Really cute trendy, fun space with delectable tea infused delights. We had one of their pineapple shines and the passionfruit tea They were so delicious so flavorful I am obsessed with this place and I am going to come back and have one of each every single week .. My second tea shop experience after a surf at Doheny in Dana Point. This was my favorite tea I have personality tasted. You could really taste the quality of the tea itself and the drink wasn't overly sweet, they used the black pearl boba to do a lot of the sweetening. We had the Black Sugar Assam, fire! Loved it. It came with honey boba at the bottom, which was absolutely delicious, sweet, chewy, and the perfect touch. The shop itself is adorable, with rose paintings on the wall and a huge gold teaspoon that makes for a fun photo spot. Their drinks are pretty solid considering there aren't many boba stores in the area. I've gotten their Creamy Jasmine, Watermelon Lychee Tea, and Silky Mango. They're decent for the price point and for someone looking to solve a quick boba craving. Now I do wish there was more variety in terms of what they had to offer, I find myself wishing there were more fruit teas or milk teas that they had to choose from. I've tried their Paradise Lime and Pineapple Shine, which are newer drinks meant to have unique flavors. They tasted odd and we exchanged them for different drinks. Ordered Classic Thai tea with honey boba online for pickup through DoorDash because they had a special that you could get two drinks for the price of one which was $7.50! Pulled up and saw a cute little shop that was about to close up for the evening. My order was packed up nicely! Brought them home and had one right away! Yummy! *My only complaint was there was a table out front close to their front door where an older man was smoking cigarettes and blowing the smoke towards where you had to walk. Gross. I'm allergic to cigarettes and the smoke so that wasn't pleasant. Brought my daughter here yesterday after our 8 mile walk - made her work for her drink! First visit but won't be the last. So glad to have a bubble tea shop in Dana Point! Staff were super friendly. Well, this is really kind of sad. I've been a regular customer here for quite some time and on Tuesdays they offer a Bogo and today the girl told me that it's only good up until 6 PM but nowhere on the sign didn't mention that so I took a picture of the sign and I showed her she says I'm sorry my manager said that it's 6 PM and it's on Instagram that doesn't help the customer that walking in the store that sees a sign that wants to get a Bogo Because it's on Instagram anyway I said thanks but no thanks and they would rather lose a customer and have a bad review that's entirely on them. In today's economy you would think you'd bend over backwards to take care of your customers, but not at this establishment. Sad to see. Yesterday, my family & I visited this location to order to go, after a funeral. On the Door it says they close at 10, we checked the time before going in & it was 8. When my family walks in, the 2 workers looked at each other weird & the one in the pink proceeded to lift her phone up to record or take pics of my family. We had literally just walked in & looked at the menu, we didn't even get to talk to the workers yet. I took this video right after I noticed she was recording/taking pics. If you don't want to work in customer service, don't work at a boba shop. She should be fired because why record customers unprovoked, without their consent & make them feel uncomfortable? I wonder how many other people she's done this to who were unaware. These 2 are beyond unprofessional and if you ever see them working, I recommend taking your business to another boba shop. Underwhelmed with the Lychee black tea - it was watered down. I also ordered it with one of the fruit jellies (I think it was mango) and my bf ordered one with the strawberry. We were unable to suck the jellies through the boba straw so it was a struggle actually consuming it. The store itself had a nice clean vibe - a good place to do work. Yummy post-surf snack. Came here with some friends after beach. And the staff was great. The young gentleman working the register was very friendly and knowledgeable with the drinks. I got a strawberry matcha with oat milk and it was SO good. I also got a matcha macaron which was fresh and delicious and not stale. As an avid boba enjoyer I really liked this place and thoroughly enjoyed that they had degradable straws and NOT paper straws which I hate lol. The ambiance is welcoming and clean in the cafe. They have MANY options for fillings and types of boba. I can't wait to go back and try more. There is no internet in this area of Dana point unfortunately so you can't really work from there.
