    Nutella banana croissant
    Iryna N.

Such a cute coffee shop. I had a cappuccino and I really liked that it was not too sweet. I also got a croissant with Nutella and it was very fresh with plenty of filling. Service was very pleasant and fast. I really loved this place and honestly wish I had a coffee shop like this closer to my home.

The pastries were delicious, but the service was frustratingly slow. There were only two groups of customers in the bakery, and I ordered just two pastries to go. Somehow, I still had to wait 15 minutes. With such a small crowd, I expected much faster service. Great food, but the long wait took away from the overall experience.

    Cappuccino was perfect

Stopped by this super cute French bakery, and we were helped by a lovely lady with amazing customer service. We ordered two cappuccino's an almond croissant and a mini mocha hazelnut cheesecake, they both were outstanding so fresh tasting and delicious! They have lots of baked goods to choose from, including coffee drinks and a variety of other beverages. You have the option to sit inside or on the front patio, such a cool vibe! We definitely will be back !!

Ham and Bacon Quiche - amazing
    Brian M.

I was craving something for breakfast that was savory and filling so I grabbed a piece of their Ham and Bacon Quiche to take home with me. Was it good? Oh, yes it was! Was it filling? Absolutely! This may be the best quiche that I have ever eaten. They gave me instructions on how to heat it up, and it came out perfect. The crust was flakey and the filling was 5/5 delicious. They certainly have a number of great looking items to try but I want another slice of the quiche.

If this review was just for the baguette, I would rate this a solid 4. The baguette has a great chew to it. For some, it might be too much of a chew, but it was purchased late in the day. It has a great tasting crust. It would be a solid 5 if it was $3-$4. But at $6, it's pretty steep for a baguette. Even for Dana Point. Second review is for their chocolate chip cookies. I would rate them a solid 1. They don't have a strong chocolate chip taste to them, even though they look to have a lot of chocolate chips in them. They remind of me store bought cookies. I know everyone has a preference - these are definitely not mine. And for the price and size, they are a little disappointing. Great bread. Not-so-great chocolate chip cookies.

San Juan Capistrano farmers market selections

They have an impressive selection of pastries with a variety of flavors. They have also sourdough bread, french, and other loaves. We tried the raisin croissant, pistachio croissant, baguette, and quiche, which were all good. Even when they weren't crispy by the time we purchased them, which were at the San Juan Capistrano farmers market where we found them on a Friday.

    This person is terrible

UPDATE: since the owner is looking at their yelp you need to know that I relied on yelp to find your place I drove out of the way to actually try your place based off yelp reviews - what I did not appreciate is that your main highlight on yelp was your croissants which im sure if warmed up would change my mind but since your employee could care less about your customers experience and to experience your croissant then it was a terrible decision to come to this place the LEAST she can do is warm it up but because I bugged her on her break it seems like I'm the bad guy for coming in and giving you my money. **l wish I never wasted my money and time coming to this stpid coffee shop it's a waste of my time. This lady is absolutely miserable it's like I walked in to her break and she's pissed off at me for being a customer would never ever come back here!!!! Croissants are hard and cold she was pissed that I asked to warm it up

Went for a morning snack and found a gem! We ordered the kouign amann, raspberry fruit parfait and a coffee. Pastry was fresh, tasty, baked to perfection and high quality. Coffee was delicious. Fruit parfait was the best my wife has ever had. Service was slow as they appeared understaffed. But it was well worth it. Definitely repeat.

Mon Amie Le Baguette from Le Saint Honore

Fantastic food and bakery, next time I will try the coffee. Staff was welcoming and made incredible suggestions. The mushroom asparagus quiche was baked perfectly and the portion was sizable. French onion soup delish. Kouign Amann was tasty and I would order every item again. Brought a baguette home , but only half made it to the house. One of the best baguettes I've had and wish I'd bought two

    What to choose?
    Mikey H.

Tout ce que je peux dire, c'est WOW! I got there about 20 minutes after they opened. Lots to choose from! What do I want? I ordered a plain croissant, pan au chocolat, croissant à la pistache, et une touche de cannelle. Each one was delicious! Baked in that traditional way that is French! Flaky....buttery...sooooo good! I do suggest going early so you won't have to hassle with parking. There are spaces in front, but also parking in the back of The Row. The young woman was friendly for it being so early. They have some nice tables in front. Next time I will have to try the breads! Merci Le Saint Honore!

This was a cute little bakery and cafe with some good pastry options! I got the pistachio cream croissant that was perfectly filled and the hot coco which was not too sweet but had a rich chocolatey taste. Such a good stop for a cold morning by the beach.

    Nutella croissant was good.

This is a small French bakery in an unexpected location (in an upscale strip mall next to a pizza shop). Their selection of baked goods is not extensive but what they have is gorgeous. Aside from sweet items like chocolate croissants and tarts, they also have quiches, beautiful loaves of bread, and baguettes. They also had fresh kefir cheese in a little refrigerator, if that grabs you. We only tried a Nutella croissant and it was very nice. It probably would have been better (and fresher) earlier in the day but it was still obviously high quality. Our coffee drinks were fine. I wouldn't call them extra special. Come here, and perhaps come early, for bread and other baked goods and treats. Seating inside and out, and plenty of free parking behind the building.

Not only was I thankful that my friend treated me to a beautiful and delicious lunch, but also I'm just so grateful for the views, service and overall good vibes. Hunter was our server and was incredible. He was helpful and attentive. As far as the food, we started with the soft pretzel and unfortunately it wasn't that soft. It actually seemed a little stale. However, the rest of our meal was 10/10! I got the chicken club, while my friend got the pastrami. Both sandwiches were so delicious and bursting with flavor! I also love that they have zero proof options on the menu. That's always a plus for me. Hunter ended the meal with a complimentary birthday treat and WOW...the chocolate cake was a small slice of pure bliss. I highly recommend it! Lastly, they even have complimentary valet. I will be coming back to Club 19 very soon to try more of the menu!

TMI, I know, but I just need to get across the severity of this stomach bug. The only other thing I ate this day was a bag of sour cream and onion chips my friend got on the course with his hotdog. So that leaves this. I know this is not common here, but I had to be honest with my experience. Other people got burgers and they were fine, so it's hard to pinpoint what exactly it was. I've had two separate experiences at Raya this year, and both were unacceptable -- which is…read moredisappointing because the rest of the property has consistently been excellent. Kahani, the club lounge, and the Marketplace all delivered exactly what you expect from a hotel at this level: attentive, well-trained staff, seamless service, and a clear understanding of hospitality standards. That's why I've never focused on smaller issues before -- they didn't outweigh the overall quality of the stay. Unfortunately, Raya has now been the exception twice. The first time, back in January, the food quality wasn't on point-I ordered the blackened tuna tacos and they were completely inedible. I didn't complain or send them back -- I simply left it at that. Today was service from one particular server Taylor. I had just come down from the club lounge and remembered that I had a complimentary voucher given at check-in, which didn't specify what it covered on it. I first asked at the lobby bar and no one was able to provide a clear answer, so I went next door to Raya and asked again before ordering. The hostess told me I could choose anything and even recommended the skirt steak. She was kind and friendly. Taylor took my order, and I reasonably assumed there had been communication between staff. So I spent some time ordering and waiting and when my food arrived since I asked for a to go order, I grabbed the bag, tipped, and left. Then Taylor ran after me at the hotel entrance asking how I planned to pay -- in front of other guests. It was an extremely uncomfortable and bizarre situation. I didn't realize what has happened I was just handed the bill and I put my room number and name down. I was then told the voucher only covered guacamole, which directly contradicted what I had been told prior to ordering. As a result, I wasted approximately 40 minutes of my time, I was simply trying to head to the beach before departing, and instead found myself dealing with a situation that should have been handled internally and discreetly. When I handed the food back and said I did not want it, the response was "ok, I'll toss it," followed by no acknowledgment, no apology, and no effort to resolve the situation. At this point, this is no longer an isolated incident. For a restaurant positioned as fine dining, the lack of internal communication, consistency, and basic guest handling is surprising -- especially when every other outlet on the property demonstrates a significantly higher standard. Raya was the only part of the experience that felt misaligned with the rest of the hotel -- and unfortunately, it's the last impression I'm leaving with.

The marina view looked almost like a postcard, and teenagers especially seemed to love taking photos with the boats in the background, which made the place feel even more fun and creative.
