It wasn't slow (I was the only customer at the counter), but the basic courtesy and warmth you'd expect at a coffee shop were completely missing. I greeted the barista cheerfully and tried to be friendly, but you would have thought I'd offended her personally. I get that everyone has off days -- maybe I reminded her of someone she didn't like -- but the customer who came in right after me was greeted with a warm smile and a cheerful "Good morning!
