This little coffee stand is located in the foyer of Compass Bible Church and open to the public all week (except Mondays) during posted hours. There is a vast amount of seating if you decide to sit and relax in the quiet atmosphere there. The list of offerings is short and simple. I asked for a vanilla latte but the kind barista sheepishly informed me they were out of vanilla so I opted for a honey latte. I just had lunch so, although the few pastries in the pastry case looked tempting, I passed this time. The honey latte was excellent, slightly sweet and served at a temperature that was immediately drinkable. I took it on the road this time but, as mentioned, the abundance of tables and the serene ambiance make this a great place to sit for a while and read, return emails, get some work done, contemplate the universe, or converse with a friend. I'm not often in this area but would not hesitate to stop here in the future to enjoy a coffee.

Such a sweet and nifty place! Got a cappuccino and loved it. The baristas were so kind and walked my drink over to me. Felt so much peace being there.

Cheap prices, large space and good atmosphere. Lots of parking. Located inside a church.

    Coffee and play dates!

Coffee was fantastic. Located in a church campus. Christian bookstore there also. Prices were low given the quality.

The espresso was rich with plenty of body and the coconut was flavorful without being overly sweet. A nice touch: they didn't cover the drink at pickup, so I could actually see the quality (and that great foam) immediately. Definitely a great experience.

And the coffee -- the most important part -- was genuinely excellent. I ordered a flat white, and it was one of the best I've had in the States. Unfortunately, the service was a letdown. It wasn't slow (I was the only customer at the counter), but the basic courtesy and warmth you'd expect at a coffee shop were completely missing. I greeted the barista cheerfully and tried to be friendly, but you would have thought I'd offended her personally. I get that everyone has off days -- maybe I reminded her of someone she didn't like -- but the customer who came in right after me was greeted with a warm smile and a cheerful "Good morning! The usual?" My thank-yous, on the other hand, were met with grunts and glares. All in all, it wasn't the best introduction to Reborn or the most pleasant way to start my day.

The milk they use always tastes fresh, like 'farm fresh' fresh. Every time we come here, we always get slices of their delicious honey cake which has the perfect level of subtle sweetness that I prefer. I'm not big on sweet stuff. I've also tried their Eggs Benedict which tastes better when you have it for dine-in. I wouldn't recommend ordering any of their breakfast items for take-out. Wait time is reasonable for made-to-order food items. Customer service is always outstanding. Every staff member I've encountered was super sweet, friendly, and patient. The shop is small but there are plenty of tables and chairs to sit at inside. Pricey but it's always a nice treat to come here when we're in the area.

I'd even say it has more milk or cream than coffee. It had a potent infusion of something like vanilla or cardamom that I liked, but I wouldn't get it again. Baklava ($6.50): 5/5. The best item I got from Vanilla Street Bakery. Decently sweet with a lovely balance of nuts, dough layers, and infused syrup. I appreciated that it wasn't dripping in a sugary solution; it's definitely more balanced than other baklava I've had. Chocolate Chip Cookie ($5.20): 2/5. A very pillowy, cakey cookie, yet dry and crumbly. The flaky salt on top was a nice touch, but its overall taste and texture didn't deliver a satisfying chocolate chip cookie. Spinach-feta roll ($6.90): 2/5. Staff kindly warmed this up for me without asking, and it looked nice and savory. However, it was extremely dry, doughy, and bland, with hardly any feta. Too bland to enjoy for $7. Eclair ($7.50): 3/5. Chocolate topping and custard filling were good, but the dough was quite dry. Pricey, too! Staff were patient and knowledgeable. Interior has a quaint, cutesy look to it, with different types of seating available. I saw people catching up with friends, reading, or working, so it has a relaxing atmosphere for whatever you feel like doing. In short: most of the pastries unfortunately were very expensive and not worth the cost based on how dry and/or bland they were. Additionally, the highly anticipated Raf Coffee seemed interesting but ended up being too creamy for a coffee drink.

From the start, you're welcomed with the fresh scent of baked bread, fresh pastries, and coffee. I ordered the Ronnie on rye and my husband ordered the eggs Benedict. We also ordered a half sweet vanilla latte and a caramel macchiato. Everything was delicious! My sandwich was, honestly, heaven. It was such a delicious twist on a breakfast item to have a hot pastrami sandwich with egg, cheese, hash brown, and extra Dijon. Being pregnant, this was perfect. I tried my husband's eggs Benedict and it was delicious, as well. The bun was so soft and fluffy and created a great base for the dish. Finally, the coffees were nicely balanced and my half sweet vanilla latte had just the right amount of flavor. This cafe is bustling for good reason! Almost every table was full and there were plenty of people inside ready for to-go orders. But, it didn't feel overwhelming and remained welcoming. There's plenty of seating outside so dont be deterred! All of the staff were working hard and were very polite. Can't wait to go back!
