oooops they did it again.... i ordered a traveler the day before and asked them to have it ready by 630am next morning. i got there at 6:40am and it was sitting on the table empty. the guy charged me for it and then it got really bz. the same girl from last time was wo-manning up the bar and the guy was at the register. no one was helping me. so i asked the girl behind the bar if someone could fill my traveler and all she did was look at me with this "duh" face. i swear she is the worst starbucks employee i have ever met. like srsly? how has she not gotten fired yet? it's mind-boggling. finally another guy came out from the back and helped me out. anyway, i have low expectations for this particular location. read more

they have great service here and its a very convenient location for me. HOWEVER for people that come here to study it can at most times be very difficult to find a seat much less one that is close to an outlet. If you need to go to a nearby coffee shop to here and dont plan to study past 8pm go to Sootha Coffee (irvine blvd/yale plaza) they also offer free wifi and have good quality coffee and the atmosphere is very inviting as well as music is easy listening and great for studying to. it's nice to not have to stick earbuds in my ears all of the time or migrate in the middle of my studies when a preferred seat opens up read more

Nooooope. Staff is rude and sarcastic, I avoid this place as much as possible but I live right there so sometimes I have to come in. I came in once before work so I was in a hurry. There was no one in line so I thought I could get in and out. I ordered a drink and whoever was on bar looked at the cup literally said "I don't want to make this", set the cup down, and went to the back. Meanwhile 4 other employees were talking about their weekends, restocking, and eating. Eventually I was like "ummmm... Did you guys forget about my drink?" And they laughed and made it finally. The employees will straight out tell you they hate their jobs like you're their best friend just stopping by to gossip. So unprofessional. This Starbucks is by far the worst one I have ever been to. There is always a line that takes at least 10-15 minutes to even order. Today I ordered a drink and Nick the cashier probably took about five minutes to complete the order. Not sure ho hard it is to write on my cup what I want then take my money but my gf and I were actually shocked at how long it took. Everyone seems to move at snails pace in this place. I went here a couple of weeks ago....this is a disgusting place. There were old rotten bananas on the counter. I said they were disgusting and should be thrown away and not be on display. The cashier said they were fine and would be used in Smoothies(!!?) Well....need I say more? I ordered a chai latte which was practically cold and made by a person who kept complaining to a coworker about something and when I pointed out he was using milk instead of soy he looked at me and mumbled under his breath. Good starbucks location. Newly renovated, and looks very modern. I'm in there at least once a week, and have never had an issue. Mark and Omar are the best floor managers at this location. Mark always has the best sense of humour, and always makes your day better. While I find Omar to be very chill and relaxed, but he makes sure to get your order correct. He also goes out of his way to make sure your order comes out in a timely fashion. Great starbucks location based on my experience with these two employees/managers. read more

Sara here is so sweet!! She always has a smile on her face and has small talk with some regulars (I've observed) she's always peppy and calls people by their name if she knows them. This is the not on the menu thing that I order: A nonfat MISTO. The grande size is $2.10...not bad really. You can get it decaf and half caf. This was on the menu 15 years ago, but they have too much crapola on that darn menu to leave something really good AND cheap on the menu. It is on the computer so ask for it. It is sort of a Cafe Au Lait...but better than the one at Coffee Bean...If you get it full fat you can sort of pretend you are having a Cafe Creme in Paris...sort of...the cup gives it away. read more

This used to be the best Starbucks I had ever been to. They had the best customer service and the most heart warming employees. They always made every drink to perfection and I went here every single day multiple times a day for 3 or 4 years. Then one day the got a new manager. This new manager seemed to think she knew how to do everything better than the people running the best Starbucks in the OC. She also thought that they needed to be cleansed of the people that had worked there for years so she could bring in her crappy old crew from her crappy old store. (Good customer service skills meant nothing to her, as she had NONE herself. I honestly don't know how she made manager the way she started running this place.) Now you get a iced white mocha and the white mocha is sitting, clumping, useless at the bottom of your cup every single time. Even with direction they can't make a drink right. I guess since I was so stuck on my habits of going to this particular Starbucks, when I started hating the thought of going there, I stopped going to Starbucks altogether. That is a whole lot of money one stupid manager could lose for the whole company. I know plenty of people that have done the same thing I did at this Starbucks. The one in Woodbury will get my order way before this one if I have to go meet someone at a Starbucks. read more

I come here almost everyday to study, it's awesome. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is quaint.

This location is ALWAYS busy. It takes far longer for my drink to come out here than at any other location in the area. I don't know if they are just always a bit understaffed or what. One of the managers, Jeff, is super friendly, personable and organized, but it just seems like he is constantly getting hit with waves of orders and doesn't have enough staff to help him get them out quickly. read more

Great location and a bit larger store. Starbucks needs to learn from Apple and build BIGGER stores. Biggest plus is all the indoor and outdoor seating so hard to find in most OC locations. This is not a good morning place to go. I was here on Sunday morning (1/15) and was one of 5 people there. An employee (I think it's Katie - skinny Caucasian) dropped the big plastic box with resupply food etc on my table and right near my elbow. I felt like she wanted me to leave the table because she needed it. She was rough with the equipment and noisy while using my table. Why cant she put the box on the floor while she worked like they do at every other Starbucks? Or why not use an empty table? There were 5 empty tables and one right by mine. Why use mine? Like another poster said, no smiles given at this Starbucks either. She obviously does not want to be there - seemed very unfriendly. I am only giving this place five stars for the service of one barista and that is Adam. I was poorly greeted by a girl on register named JD. She was very rude, did not listen to me, and could not get my order correct. Adam noticed this and took action. He came to the register and personally took my order and rang me up. I normally order a grande iced Starbucks double shot, but was in the mood for something sweeter. Adam recommended the pumpkin spice latte, and it was PERFECT. The only reason I will ever return to this place is because of Adam. If you ever go here, make sure Adam makes your drink. You won't regret it. read more

This Starbucks is the closest to my present place of residence, but I try to avoid coming here. The employees are nice enough, there are a number of tall and short small tables as well as shaded outdoor seating, but the high school students who come here are often disruptive. The last time I was here, one girl was screaming in what I think she perceived as a flirtatious manner at her boyfriend through the door of the men's restroom. This Starbucks has a pretty high volume of customers constantly so that should be taken into consideration vs another location that is much less traffic. The service at this Starbucks is terrible. I had put in a mobile order and walked in to one of my drink ready and the other was not. Mind you , the two drinks were both Americanos. I had asked the supervisor, Samantha if my other drink was almost ready and she gave me an attitude saying they were working on it. I saw 6 drinks made ahead of mine and 15 minutes later, my second drink was finally ready!! Ridiculous wait for a mobile order. We came back a week later and Samantha made a back handed comment stating 'I can't believe they still come here'. Her rudeness is completely uncalled for a service she couldn't deliver. Not a bad location. They have a Clover coffee machine which produces a great cup of coffee. It is single cup brewing so you can order any coffee bean. The Barista staff is friendly and courteous. It is always busy here though and the line is more often to the door so it's not a good location if you are in a hurry or running late. They have the Clover system for coffee. If you want to pay the extra buck it is so worth it. They can get some pretty lengthy lines here especially on the weekends so try and time your stop away from the normal rush times. If you just wanted coffee on your way to the game or to work there are other places close to stop and not have the long wait. If you have the time its worth the wait. Okay so the drink I ordered was okay, I expect that however I also expected the gingerbread loaf slice I ordered to be fresh, one side was hard as a rock, obviously it has been up there for quite a while, bread doesn't get that hard that fast. Unfortunately this is the one Starbucks in which you order a drink and you receive it and your cup is only 3/4 full. I ordered a trenta passion tea and a cool lime refresher, both with light ice. When I received my drinks they were 3/4 of the way filled. I was told they put in 30 oz of liquid and because I ordered it with no ice this is what I would get. I am certain the current lawsuit has merit with regards to the ice. This is was the first time ever I have experienced this, as well as was spoken to in a condescending manner.
