It makes for a refreshing drink on those hot summer days. Service moves along well. However, there were a few areas where the experience fell short of expectations. While the smoked salmon was great, the chicken sandwich was difficult to chew due to too many nerves and the mini donuts felt a bit stale. We also noticed a few maintenance issues, including a visibly dirty/stained booth seat and a teacup given to one of our guests that was broken on the bottom. Service was another area that could use some improvement. For a party of six, the staff felt somewhat inattentive, leaving several people at our table waiting for long periods to get hot water refills. This unfortunately hindered the amount of tea we were able to enjoy during our visit. Morning Lavender has wonderful potential with its beautiful environment and delicious flavors, but with a bit more proactive service and attention to detail, the experience could be truly exceptional.
