There are multiple restrooms conveniently located throughout & are always clean. Coffee and snacks are readily available, and a handful of monitors to use for that added productivity boost. I found that it's less busier on Mondays and Fridays, but even when parking is crowded on busier days, I've never had trouble finding a spot. Some people bring their dogs so you get the occasional furry visitor while working, so that's an added bonus! I like the work atmosphere that they deliver & the motivation I get from seeing other people in their zone. The clue's in the name--this place simply really does help you work well!

As a service based business, we have clients who occasionally stop by to drop off documents when we are not physically present. This was never an issue in the past. Somehow, that changed, and the change seemed to happen on the fly. One of our long time clients came by to drop off documents. According to our client, the documents were refused. While he was on the phone with us trying to explain what was happening, he was asked to leave. TailoredSpace never called us, never notified us, and never gave us the chance to assist our client. When I called to ask what happened, I was told that we were supposed to call ahead before a client came in, and that the front desk had no duty to notify us. I was also told the front desk is not my receptionist, which was her answer when i asked if they could call to let me know about the client showing up to drop off documents. I felt this was really bad service & presented our business in a bad light, her response was "I'm sorry you feel that way," which felt like basic corporate *Eff off to me, dismissing the issue rather than address the actual problem or offer an actual apology. That left me dumbfounded. New unwritten procedures are now being enforced subjectively by the new receptionist, and active tenants are expected to just figure it out after there is already a bad client experience. When is it okay to provide horrendous B2B service to a business that is actively leasing office space? For any business that depends on client trust, document drop-offs, mail service, or a professional first impression, I would be very cautious before signing here. Based on this experience, I do not recommend TailoredSpace for your business.

Bizhaus Costa Mesa was on the short list of places near major freeways, decent location to home base (work), and actual home. I spoke to Chris over the phone one day prior, and Karolina helped me out when I stopped by the following day to purchase a day pass ($30?). Note: Parking is a separate charge of $75/month, or you can try to find parking on the street. While it is located at the end of a cul-de-sac, because of all the mostly auto shops along the street, there's really not much "free" parking unless you come super early. Karolina gave me a tour of the facility - everything is on the same floor. Kitchen has several fridges, coffee on tap, a nifty little coffee/espresso machine, some vending machines. Tea station, water dispenser, even a beer fridge full of sugary alcoholic drinks (I didn't try any). Unlike WW Redstone, the bathrooms here actually have toilet covers! Maybe that was Redstone's downfall. Tons of open communal workspace, in addition to private offices/suites. I came on a Thursday, so not too many people were working on-site, as it's one of their more quiet days. It was nice to see the wall of different companies/businesses that call this site their "work home base". I settled in on one of the booths near the kitchen. Super fast wifi, lots of outlets, clean seating/tables. They offer different membership options - day pass at $30 (they kick you out at 5pm), flex pass at $175 (10 days/mo. booted at 5pm), Open Desk at $275 (24/7 access), Dedicated Desk at $375 (24/7) and Private offices starting at $700 (24/7). Parking is a separate $75/mo. if you want to park in their dedicated lot. While I still have to check out a few other coworking spots in the area before settling on one - Bizhaus is definitely among my top 3 at the moment.

Basically did everything to a T, which still wasn't sufficient because the people at seven co FORGOT about our event. It started at 6 PM so we show up at around 5:10 with nothing set up or ready like we had agreed. We were freaking out at this point, since we had around 30 people who had signed up to come. We didn't really have any emergency contact info and since the seven co staff had left for the day, we thought we just needed to cancel. We were SO upset and I literally was on the verge of a breakdown. The whole thing just looked so bad and unprofessional on us, and we had been working our asses off to plan this for weeks. Somehow, our President dug through his contact book from years ago and found Katrina's old cellphone number, which we tried calling and texting, at first to no luck. Then, surprisingly at around 5:40 she texted and called back apologizing and agreeing to send someone. Apparently her coworker, Corinne, had forgotten to check the calendar.... So Corinne shows up and sets up the room for us, which pushed our event back to 6:30. She was nice and really apologetic, although my heart rate was still to the roof at this point. The event itself panned out fine, but we were so flustered and it was definitely just not a great start or experience whatsoever. From what I heard from my coworker, they agreed to give us a refund but honestly, I really don't think that makes up for much. If my dad hadn't had Katrina's cell phone number or if we wouldn't have been able to reach them, that would've been SO bad. This sounds harsh, but I mean it respectfully--I can't imagine ever booking an event with them again, which is a bummer since the venue itself is nice.
