I was in the area so I decided to stop by and redeem my free birthday coffee from Starbucks! When you are a rewards app member, you're able to redeem this for free on your special day! I had an issue with being able to redeem my free birthday drink so the manager made sure I was able to still enjoy it regardless which I really appreciated their customer service! I chose my favorite ube coconut drink, of course. Also, I was soooo happy to finally find the cherry blossom collection. I snagged two for myself and also saw a really cute heart gift card that looked perfect to potentially hole punch and turn into a keychain for future coffee dates. Friendly cashier, baristas pretty much stayed focus on the bar and mobile orders. Super clean, lots of mobile orders, busy spot in the business district. Very close walking to distance to the Honolulu Airport Hotel and nearby Best Western. Took a little longer than expected for our baked goods and breakfast sandwich, but we weren't in a hurry. If you're on the go and time is of the essence, I would definitely recommend putting in a mobile order. Lots of business clientele and people clearly on-the-clock/working. Triple Stars Day on 8-1-24... I brought my personal cup with me in case we had time to go to Starbucks... because it brings 25 bonus stars and a 10 cents discount! We did find time to go to Starbucks! The closest location for us was the Airport Trade Center, where Big Kahuna Pizza and other eateries are. Starbucks is at the far right end of this strip mall. There is a gate to enter the parking lot. Take a ticket, and the cashier will validate the parking for you. There are also stickers at the self-service area - where the napkins are. I decided to try something new... The Summer Skies Drink has a berry flavoring and popping raspberry pearls in Coconut Milk. It's different. I don't think I will order it again. Now we know that there's free parking at this location... yay! read more

The main reason I like this place is that they have so many different cups. I walked in and couldn't believe all the different styles they had. I've always say that Starbucks is World Peace in a cup... The magic brew weather it's a coffee or refresher, hot or cold, blended or layered somehow that first sip is just bliss, here at the Airport Trade Center location is no different. I stopped at this location because I was grabbing lunch at a neighboring bite a few doors down and decided to get a drink as well...why not it's been super blazing hot lately. Noticed that they do have some outdoor seating is rather rare to see in Hawaii though our weather does make it nice to enjoy the outdoorsy. Walking in immediately greeted by the friendliest staff and though I know exactly what's on the menu I do scan to see if they have the chalkboard with a creation unique to the location...and saw none so I decided on a refresher. Dragon Drink yasss and I do have my own cup which I do try to keep with me whenever I can not only it's eco friendly Starbucks does reward you with saving you ten cents and a bonus of twenty five stars is great if you already know what I mean. Seating here is super spacious the layout is fabulous though I had to get back to my food order my drink came so instantly fast! What a delightful and friendly staff she asked how I liked it as I took my first sip and of course yummy!! Mobile order if you must come here. They prioritize mobile orders over walk ins. My order took 15 mins - and 10 mobile orders came and went in that time. My bad, I didn't know the Way I ordered the chicken maple breakfast sandwich as it was new to me. It smells better than it looks or tastes. What can be improved?? Service and food. I did a mobile app order & they got it both wrong! Drink did not have creamer and bagel did not have cream cheese! I paid an expensive breakfast that was blah.... I don't think I trust this Starbucks taking orders cause in the past long ago it happened numerous times. This is my favorite Starbucks on the island. The staff is always friendly and in good spirits. They are very good at remembering repeat customers. I have never had an issue with my order and it has always been spot on. The store is well lit and stocked with whatever I might be looking for. Lots of breakfast and grab and go items. In the morning the line can be long so the mobile app is perfect and very easy to use. Makes things easier and much quicker if your in a rush. Stop.by and enjoy the service and coffee. read more

I was out in the area so I decided to use my Starbucks app to do a mobile order (so convenient.. I rarely use it!) I ordered my customized shaken espresso & made my way to the store. It was around 8am sothe shop was a little crowded, but not uncomfortable. My drink came out just a little past my estimate pickup time - I didn't wait very long at all. 2 things I like about this location - I like how the mobile pickup area is large & they put your drink in alphabetized slots to make it easier to pickup the right drink. Another thing I like about this location was that they had validation stamps right in the front of the store, so you didn't have to flag down a barista to get your parking done. It's 2 hours complimentary with validation btw. Coffee was as good as expected as well. read more

On May 11. At 1130, I went in to order a drink. The place was not busy at all. I waited for my drink when I saw someone who came in after me and ordered get his drink first. The was fine! I seen a drink that looked like a drink that possibly I ordered, so I thought that maybe it was mine, so I asked the barista making the drinks. She was a small white girl. I asked if that was the my drink that I ordered and said the name of my drink, as she replied with the sassiest ugly face "No.". This little kid's sassy attitude was so uncalled for and unnecessary! Been pretty good since they reopened. I used to come here everyday then the pandemic hit and the employees weren't too friendly. For a couple of months now I've returned and I am happy to say we're back on track with the staff being supper friendly and helpful. The store is always clean and stocked. The beverages are on point. Loving the good vibes here. They close pretty early and you can't order online if it's within 30 minutes of closing. However I walked in and ordered and was pleased with the quick, friendly and efficient service here. The parking is comp by the store. They have their own validation machine. I love it when I drop $90 on gift cards and the barista fails to mention that they are out of envelopes/card holders. I get it. We're still in a pandemic and there are supply chain and distribution issues. But at least let me know that you are out before you ring me up. Don't wait till I already completed my transaction and hand me the bag with no envelopes/card holders and then when I ask where the envelopes are, then you tell me you're out. And then when I ask why you didn't let me know you're out, you say because I didn't ask!!! Then when I ask if you can call to find a store that does have them tell me to wait or call myself.... I waited and no one assisted. Finally got on my app to call stores myself and finally found one at Salt/Kakaako that had them. Way to treat a gold who just dropped $90 on cards in your store. Today was a 2. I did not have a chance to talk to anyone because I was in and out. NORMALLY I come here because they always make my drinks RIGHT. The last couple times got me like wtf. The first time I had time to ask them to re-make my London Fog because initially what they gave me was NOT Earl Grey at ALL. Today, I had my iced coffee that I normally order and they've made it numerous times and generally make it the better than the Valkenburgh Starbucks. So either they forgot to put any pumps of anything or? Because it tastes like crap. I like sweeter coffee but can't consume sugar for health reasons. I'm not diabetic. My body reacts to sugar in the way one reacts to food poisoning. Well they put 0 pumps of anything. It wasn't that busy so I know it wasn't one of those mis-reads. I was very much like ??? when I sipped it. I don't drink black coffee. Blech. There should be 5 pumps of sugar free Vanilla and 5 pumps of sugar free cinnamon dolce. Since my last review, this Starbucks location has been renovated. The renovations have given the store a nice, fresh look. Their counter has been "flipped around" so you order on the left as you walk in and wait for your drink on the right now. They now have a nice, large fridge section on the left wall near the cash register with their box meals, sandwiches and bottled drinks. They got rid of the couches and replaced all of them with wooden tables and chairs. There's more counter space and window seating towards the back not. I am digging this new look. What I am not digging, however, is the fact that the new morning crew has slowed down. There are a lot of new faces and it seems they can't pump out drinks as quickly as they used to. My wait in line for my drinks are longer with this new crew. They still have a couple of their awesome seasoned employees but overall, this new crew has had a hard time picking up the pace. read more

The Airport Trade Center location services airport employees and people waiting to pick-up family & friends from flight arrivals. Decided to order again from Starbucks since I forgot that we cannot being in liquid pass the TSA check in. I had to throw away my full cup of venti dragon drink. My viSit here was on 3/5/20. Around 12pm. The line was decent at the airport and the staff moved pretty quickly to ensure everyone gets their drink less than 3 minutes. The cashier who helped me is very sweet. I've been to a lot of Starbucks and no one ever asked me if I prefer the classics or sugar cane for a sweetened passion iced tea. I was happy to know about it though. Got hubby the trends size with 14 pumps sweetened . It wasn't sweet enough for him because he said usually is 20 pumps sweetened. Yes, he's crazy. If I was the barista I would think he's crazy too. That's a whole Lotta sugar. For myself I got the new golden ginger drink. It was calling me all week when I was in Waikiki beach and through out my trip there. I really love the taste of the ginger drink. Creamy and sweet but not too sweet. I do taste a slightly ginger flavor. I can see at the bottom that it do have a lil bit of ginger pulp. I luv luv luv this Starbucks! Figured it was time I write a review since I have over 40 check-ins at this location. I can swing by on my way to the Honolulu office anytime in the AM They open earlier than most, 4:00 AM and if I'm hitting the office by 5:00 I stop here for a double, triple shot of espresso to kick start my morning. There is always parking in the lot and it is close to the airport and my office in Mapunapuna. Wi-fi is available and you see a number of people sitting and working their little fingers off even at 5:00. Unclear if they are students, self-employed or just hanging out that early but they seem to always be there. It is spacious and fast and seems newer that some. All the items you encounter at all the other Starbucks and in the display cases, donuts, brownies, fritters, yogurt, waters and sandwiches. Hot sandwiches are available too. They can also make the big box take out coffee for meetings which is a plus but call before coming in for this one or you may be waiting for 10-15 minutes. Some of us learn the hard way! Love the egg salad on wheat and grab one if available. Friendly baristas and order takers will make your morning experience so much nicer. Moves faster than most of it's kind too and until they open a drive thru in Mapunupuna I will be stopping here. read more
