The protein latte was pretty good, but having previously tasted the vanilla protein latte, I prefer the vanilla. For a pre-made and frozen breakfast sandwich, the turkey and sandwich as a whole were pretty good. However, since they did not wrap the hot sandwich, before placing it in the bag, the bread stuck to the bag and tore part of the underside of the sandwich when I removed it. I have no idea why I keep coming to this Starbucks. I have never seen a Starbucks that is so slow in the Drive-Thru that if you see a line don't even begin to go there. The average wait at this Starbucks is 20 to 25 minutes in the Drive-Thru. I've tried giving it another chance and it's always the same. And then after waiting all that time when you finally get to the window nobody apologizes nobody says anything. One time while waiting in line in the Drive-Thru I called that Starbucks and the girls attitude was sorry but we're doing our best. Then I had another time when I got up to the window the girl said to me sorry but what did you order. The bottom line is the management obviously has no clue of how to run a Starbucks. Came into our local Starbucks today around 10:00 AM that we frequent often and received the worst service. We stood at the counter for over 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us and this was actually the 2nd time that this has happened in the morning. came in today just to get a cup of tap water and was told that Starbucks doesn't provide tap water to non-paying customers. It was over 85 degrees outside with no breeze, so I politely asked if I could have a small cup due to the heat. The employee insisted that I had to buy something first, so I reluctantly purchased an avocado just to get the water. After that, she informed me there were many orders ahead, meaning I'd have to wait quite a while for the toast. Ultimately, I didn't want to wait for the item I bought just to get water, which means food went to waste simply because of this policy. I don't mind paying for a cup water, and I even told the employee that, but she still insisted on a purchase. What concerns me most is customer retention--I've been a Gold member for over 10 years and have never been refused tap water before. If there's a policy against giving free water, there should be an option to buy tap water without wasting food or resorting to expensive bottled water. This also opens the company up to more bad experiences where the level of customer satisfaction decreases. After more than 20 years as a customer, this experience left a bad impression, and I'm unlikely to return anytime soon. Denying tap water to anyone when it's readily available at a business open to the public feels like a delicate and unfair line to cross, especially when people are willing to pay for it and simply want to stay hydrated. Delighted sugar plum cheese Danish. My husband got the hot apple crisp oatmilk macchiato and I got the iced version of that but subbed out the oatmilk for almond in mine. He absolutely loves this drink, I did not like mine very much. It wasn't horrible, but not something I'd order again. Maybe it was because of subbing out the oatmilk for almond milk that changed the flavor. Great service and friendly batista. Been a happy customer with Starbucks since the mid 90s. Pre-Covid I had $3,000 in Starbucks' gift cards. I've been a happy customer throughout all of the different Starbucks stores throughout San Diego. I've only been to this location twice, and each time was harassed about technicalities that only this location harasses the customers about it. First visit they charged me $.85 for a sprinkle of cinnamon on top of my pumpkin Trente cold brew. Told them I'd never heard about such a thing. ‍ 2nd Visit I brought my own 20 oz STARBUCKS drink cup and ordered a 30 oz cold brew. Manager/shift manager DAWN said she would have to fill my Starbucks cup with 20 oz of coffee and give me a 2nd 10 oz plastic cup. I told her that since Starbucks does NOT make an insulated 30 oz cup, 100% of the other locations just put the drink in a 30 oz disposable cup. After politely trying to reach a win-win situation talking with the manager DAWN for over five minutes, she refused to budge in any way. I told her that every six months or so I actually donate my time at a Jewish Food bank WITH one of the Presidents of Starbucks. Nice older man with white hair who says he's been with the company since they only had 16 stores. I told her how I have been nagging him to create an insulated 30 ounce insulated Starbucks cup, and that he said in the meantime to just bring my 20 oz insulated Starbucks cup IN to get the points. I tried to explain to DAWN that the reason Starbucks hired a human for her job position and not a robot is because she was supposed to use her brain to create win-win situations, great customer experiences, and customer satisfaction, and not simply repeat a policy over and over a 20 times. Sadly, she would not budge so I had to cancel my food order and my Trenta cold brew order Definitely not the right thing for the right reason It's not fair to all the other employees who are striving for great customer service when the leadership doesn't know the meaning of the word. I went into the coffee shop this morning, and grabbed my order, which is always ready at this location... I was greeted by a smiling barista who then came over to see if I wanted to add any pastries to enjoy with my morning coffee, which I did. I asked about a hot coffee that was a brewing and she offered me a sample. But not only did she give me a sample, she went over and heated up a chocolate croissant to go along with it, and shared with me that it was a great pair to go along with this dark roast coffee. She sampled it along with me, and briefly talked about the match. And it was the sweetest most genuine thing ever, to have someone care; and be intentional for 3 minutes throughout the chaos of the morning. It's a decent starbucks. I'm not here to post about an issue with the drinks in here to talk about the rudeness of the staff. Also often when I come I ask the drinks are remade because every once in a while the drinks taste off. Always I showed up to this location and when through the drive thru I order 2 of the peppermint frappes one no whip. I pull around to the window and there is a woman with blue hair it was 12$ I gave her a gift card and paid debt for the rest and of course she sticks out the card reader device and asks for a tip I clicked "no thanks" and she gives me the drinks. I said," thank you very much have I nice day". The barista with the blue hair gives me a dirty look and walks away. I want to make it clear that I understand mistakes are made, but equipping an attitude after you're the one who forgot about my order and then had to remake it twice is probably not the best way to get returning customers... Camino Canadas store manager, Lindsay Lopez, has got to be the biggest ditz to ever roam this planet. There is not a single brain cell in that woman's head. I'm convinced she slept her way to a management position because she doesn't know the first thing about coffee or basic customer service skills. Anytime I ask her a question about coffee it's followed by eye rolls and "uhh umm uhh hmm let me ask" and then she pulls another barista aside to ask them the answer. When she takes my order in the drive thru it takes her 1-5 business days just to ask what i want then another 10-12 business days to type it in and send me to the window.. not to mention all the "um um um's" I hear, not sounding confident in anything she tells me about the drinks, I know she has to ask for help with simple answers a store manager should know. I've also gone into the cafe on multiple occasions and when Lindsay is making the drinks they're never made correctly. I watch her prance around the store like a lost puppy who just hit it's head on the concrete after falling out of a 2 story window. I've tried on 4 different occasions calling the store attempting to get into contact with Lindsay and i'm always told "she's busy, in a meeting, or not here today" so I called from my car while watching Lindsay sit in the cafe texting with a laptop and paperwork next to her and I was told "she's not in today." I've come into this store twice to speak with Lindsay in person about how disappointing my drinks are that she makes and wanting refunds or just simply for someone to make my drink correctly and I swear talking to this woman is like speaking to a parking meter. Zero brain waves. The saddest part is, I would come to this store for 2 years knowing my drink would be made correctly but unfortunately I think Lindsay's stupidity is rubbing off on the other baristas because now hardly anyone there knows how to make a drink. How is this woman even allowed out of the house without bubble wrap and a helmet? One conversation with her and I have no choice but to either assume she has to be dropped off at work because she isn't allowed to drive OR the car I saw in the parking lot with a busted headlight and dented door belongs to her. 0/10 experience with this lady.
