Came here on a Thursday around 7:30 PM to grab donut holes for my students to celebrate spring break and I'm so glad I did because this spot was a win. They're open 24/7 which already makes it clutch. Usually places like this can feel messy or run down late at night but this one was the opposite. Everything was stocked and full, every donut looked fresh, and the display case and tables were super clean. I wish I took a picture but I was in a rush. I also noticed they offer a lot more than just donuts. They had donut holes, full sized donuts, sandwiches, drinks, bagels, shakes, smoothies, raspados oh I could keep going The employee helping us was the only one there and I didn't catch her name but she was amazing. Super attentive, really kind, and just made the whole experience great. It felt way more welcoming than what I've seen people say in other reviews but I get that it probably depends on who's working. I ended up trying a guava raspado since that's not something you see everywhere. It was decent. They advertised real fruit and you can taste it in the syrup, even with little guava seeds in there. That part was great. The flavor itself just didn't fully hit for me and I didn't finish it, but the portion was big so I still think it's worth trying maybe in a different flavor. Overall this place surprised me in the best way. Clean, stocked, friendly service, and open all the time which is huge. At 7 am there's two types of people, the workers and the customers and the workers I can always at since I was a child coming have always been so welcoming and kind. Like any restaurant especially a good one, they are making the food such as breakfast items as you order as well as answering calls and the machine to take orders online from dashers and Ubers. Donuts are always fresh, food always made to order. And coffee always available with a little half and half a few drops of coffee in the sugar, and a donut while you wait for your meal. I don't live near this location, but when im near I love coming here, their Oreo milkshake is amazing, there's bits of Oreo in the shake and a big Oreo on top, super creamy. I also get their chocolate on chocolate donut (picture), I get multiple of these when I go because I can't get enough, their chocolate donut holes as well! We've been in a couple times now, I've been to a decent amount of Yum Yums around the state, and I had to say that this location is my favorite. The first time we came in was around 4pm, after work. We got a half dozen and a french vanilla caramel chilla. There was a middle aged or younger hispanic lady working the front, and she was so polite and kind! She was patient while we decided, then ended up talking my boyfriend into getting a coffee he was on the fence about. Service was quick and pleasant. The chilla was soooo good, and the donuts, while probably not the most fresh at that time of day, were perfectly soft and tasted fresh enough to us! This is also the cleanest location I've been to. The floors were swept, walls were clean, and no dust on the counters or anything like that. I don't know why there are so many comments on the service. My wife and I come here weekly for our donut cheat day. Every time the staff are super nice and chill. They're open 24 hours (we go at night after work and the donuts seem the best then ). It's a quaint place, let's get to the donuts: My go to is the glazed old fashion and blueberry cake. 6/16/24 1:30pm Went it Today for a quick bite to eat and an Iced Coffee. The older lady Mexican at the counter was not very helpful and seemed annoyed to be here. I asked for a sandwich and when she asked what type of bread I wanted I replied with what are my options...she said they're right there look yourself with an attitude. Then I proceeded to order a cinnamon iced coffee that is on the poster as I walked in and she seemed very confused and asked me what I wanted in my coffee? I've been complaining about the customer service at this yum yum donut shop for years. I wasn't a regular customer but I swear every time I walked in I thought I was being targeted for some reason. I'd walk in the door and I'd get this look already before I even said anything, like what do you want? If there were 2 people together they'd whisper something to each other before speaking to me. Awful experience here today, I took my new born and 4 year old her for a donut while waiting for my husband. My 4 year old is autistic and can't sit still. The rude as lady there proceeded to tell me to tell my child to stop running around her donut shop. I came here because a friend has been recommending Yum Yum, I don't know if I was at the right store but 2 female workers onsite, not pleasant, very short on communication. I'm really surprised at the good review this donut shop gets. I have had far better donuts from Von's for half the price. The donuts were dense and tough and both my husband and I felt a little ooky after eating them. I certainly will never go back. For reference, we had two chocolate donuts filled with "Boston cream" which she said was not custard so I'm not really sure what it was and I had a glazed old fashioned which was so dense and hard that I didn't finish it.
