A fresh, hot, Cinnabon is one of the best things in the world to me. I love that they are not over baked and crispy. They are soft, pillowy and gooey. Ordered for the first time for Christmas- so easy to order online and pick up! The only thing that could have made it better was utilizing their "online order" checkout line. They had two checkouts and tons of workers- and had a line designated as the line for online orders, but were having everyone make a single file line, which seemed inefficient and was confusing for customers. Who doesn't love Cinnabon?! We had such courteous service at the Cinnabon at the Parkway Plaza in El Cajon; really a wonderful experience with such pleasant employees. Remember, if you order a cinnabon you get a small shake for $2.00, otherwise it's $5.00. And, we all can use a discount once in a while. Prepare, because it sure is a sugar rush! We had a Saturday morning CRAVING for Cinnabon after watching the "Try Guys" make them in a video--this was the only one open at 10am and the woman who answered was so awesome and sincerely helpful that we drove 15min out of our way, all the way from our Black Friday shopping over in Fashion Valley, and just had a really really nice experience. I can't be the only one who craves Cinnabon quite often, but when I do I'd like to show up and buy a weeks worth of Cinnabon for myself, however I can not do that this time because online the closing time says 7 o clock on a Sunday and I showed up at 6:41 and they had everything roped off and the lady behind the counter (closing up) told me they were closed. This location has reopened. I do not know the exact date, but as of January 6, 2018 it is back in its same location in Parkway Plaza, El Cajon. I was so upset when they closed because not only are the cinnamon rolls to die for, the customer service was terrific. Apparently, the same could not be said of their replacement. I rarely eat at Cinnabon because it's a treat. I was holiday shopping with a friend and we decided to stop in. The girl who helped us was probably new, she didn't smile and wasn't particularly friendly or unfriendly. We ordered (2) mini four packs. When we asked if there were any specials, she couldn't state anything helpful. She was very slow and took a long time to complete our order. The cinnabons were already made and she placed each one in a bag and placed them haphazardly on the counter. While she was ringing up the order, one bag dropped on the floor and she just continued; no apology, no offer to get us fresh ones. She just continued ringing us up even though we saw her drop, pick up our items, and attempt to serve them to us. I was appalled and asked for a fresh order. Simple craving for Cinnabon for forever. Punch the address into my gps and the location is a little buggy. Had me walk around the plaza on a hunt/mission. Ordered some for me and my family, but they're cold. The RUDE female employee tells me it costs extra for warm ones. I've never ran into that problem before and it must be a new rule. I even asked if she could point out where it must state that and she was unable to respond. I get it's gotta be policy, but I mean under circumstances where it seems you're barely getting business you might consider pushing for better customer service. So my girlfriend was going to take Cinnabons with her when she went back to China. I asked for a four pack but couldn't fit the box in the carryon, and could they put them in single boxes to go. So the price went from $12 to $16. I asked for the 4 pack price and he just said no. Then I asked for the frosting that I usually get with them and he said no. Here we go again. Customer "Service" over the past couple of decades (or longer) in this country of ours has all but gone by the wayside. Company (owners) and so-called "managers" do not possess any degree of what was formerly known as common sense and/or logic anymore. Here is yet one more in a long list of poor leadership within a "business" whose (sole purpose) SHOULD be to make their customers feel good about having done business there and to walk away with thoughts of (returning) again. But, with the manner in which our society is geared (today), we (the "customers") no longer get that afforded to us any longer. Today, in the year 2020, we instead are often treated with bad attitudes, carelessness, and the old "if you don't like it... don't bother to come back again" attitude. Case in point... I was in this particular establishment yesterday, June 18th, 2020 to purchase a little treat for myself. I'd been in here a couple of months earlier when some young ladies who served me then were very nice to me. But yesterday, there were three middle-aged women working in this place and one of them possessed an attitude that very clearly indicated to me that she is one of those types of personalities that is large and in charge when at home... but that attitude does not play out with "customers" and especially... with (me). I read this woman like book and it only took me about ten seconds to see where her head was at. She demonstrated to me that she was IN charge and that she never takes any crap from ANYONE including ME! The subliminal message was that I was expected to simply kowtow to her manner of treating me and not say one word. However, the customer ahead of me that she dealt with paid in CASH. This woman working the register, with the bad attitude was NOT wearing any plastic gloves and handled the money with her bare hands and THEN asked me... what I wanted. I told her and she went over and immediately grabbed a clean, new bag to put my order in. I said, "Stop!" I asked her to put that bag in the trash and to please go and wash her hands. She gave me a look as though I had taken her first-born. She was PISSED OFF that she was asked to do that. Obvious "insecurities" from her childhood is how interpreted that. She was over at the sink washing her hands and bitching about it to another woman who worked there. At that point, I (heard) her bitching and stated loud enough for all three ladies there to hear me... "We have a national health epidemic in this country and she doesn't want to oblige me by washing her hands? What the hell is WRONG with her?" So the pissed off employee ran to the back room and kowered in there until I left. This... is "Customer Service?" Another woman there finished taking my order and was much nicer to me. I honestly felt that I was a bother just being there and that those women seemingly portrayed to me that they would just rather not have to have any customers at all and have all the products all for themselves. That is the overall message I got. What a horrible manner in which to conduct business with a "customer." How are they to know that perhaps I might be the owner of that entire shopping center for all that matters? Would I suggest going there for any reason at all from now on? Answer: No! I would strongly advise against it... unless that is you happen to enjoy and NOT CARE about having germs and bacteria from other peoples money being placed onto your food items as well as being subjected to negative treatment by a person working there who possesses an extremely bad attitude toward you for NO REASON AT ALL other than her own "insecurities" about herself. If it were possible to rate this place with a negative star, that would be the rating I would give it. Based SOLELY upon that ONE employee. I always enjoy my trips to Cinnabon but this recent trip was about aweful. New customer made my drink the wrong way it doesn't even taste good. Also she barely put any Carmel sauce or pecans on my Cinnabon. The customer service was poor and she had attitude when I asked for more sauce. Never going back to that Cinnabon if she is there. They apparently have two yelp pages to look better, so I am posting this complaint on both. Ok so I'm never one to put anyone on blast but very upsetting experience at the Cinnabon in El Cajon parkway mall So today is their 30th birthday and they are giving away free mini bons between 11-1 my family and I got ours and sat down to eat there. Watching other customers come up and pay for their food but I get why they aren't just offering it even though there are signs out. A young man in his early 20s I'd say came up and got the small order of 4 bite size buns that come in a rectangular open faced box. The girl put it on a small plate and he turned around to get a fork and as he did the box fell over on to the floor spilling his food. He told the girl at the counter and she just had a blank star on her face then he asked for the manager small older lady with glasses comes over and very rudely told him it was his fault and not hers she's not replacing it. He ask why and still very rudely says that when he buys a car and drives off the lot and gets in a crash the dealer doesn't fix it. Which in its self is true but she didn't have to say it that way. Oh and did I mention this guy was mildly disabled his speech was slow and you could tell by the way he walked and grabbed his plate and he ask me what she was talking about. So after I say loudly that she's being rude she has her employee give him the free mini bon they are already giving out but never offered him when he was paying for food. So I told her she now has another customer calling corporate on her and her reasoning is I have him a free one (yeah the same free one me and my family got just for coming in) he paid you money to be treated so badly even after I explained that it's obvious he does have good dexterity and that she put a rectangular box on a smaller round plate even someone with good grip would be challenged to balance that. And all she could say was it was not her fault she's not replacing it. I don't see how people can treat customers this way and still be in business. read more

Went to get my son some cinnamon sticks. Left the icing on the counter and threw a cup in the trash. When I went to get it it was gone. I asked the guy for another one and we said "well I gave it to you" and turned around and walked off. I asked again and he turned around to look on the counter and repeated that he gave it to me so I said "can you please give me another one". He then grabs an icing, tosses it at me and mutters "whatever" and turns around. I then ask to speak to his manager and he tells me there is no manager that he was actually the owners son. The service was neutral, but the rolls were stale and disgusting! I bought the box of 6 large rolls, plus extra icing, for a birthday celebration and most of it will end up in the trash. That's almost $20 straight down the drain! I will NEVER return to this Cinnabon. read more

Like cashier Joseph was super friendly and super helpful with my experience in Cinnabon. This guy had an amazing passion to serve a quality Cinnabon. Once I received my Cinnabon he would always check up on me and ask me if the Cinnabon was to my liking.
