I love Menchie's!! Especially the peach flavor that they have. The fruit is always fresh and sweet! I got a little crazy because they have $7 special on Monday. So basically, I can fill up my cup for $7. So it's a great deal. I come here a couple of times a week. The service is wonderful. They associates are very nice. The place is clean. The toppings is always stock. I usually eat in my car because of my dog. But they have sitting outdoor and indoor. They also have a bathroom that customer can use. read more

We ordered a yogurt cake for a birthday and tried the yogurt while we were there. Had the peanut butter, oreo cookie yogurt topped with oreo cookie and marshmallow toppings. The place is super clean and well organized with plenty of selections of toppings. They also have four or five different sauce toppings. I get the Dole Soft Serve Pineapple flavor every time with no toppings, and it's consistently good (and I almost feel like I'm at Disneyland enjoying a Dole Whip). Entering the store yesterday (late afternoon), there was one employee behind the register. No welcome, no hello, nothing. I filled two cups and headed to the scale. Again, no interaction from the employee. She looked angry (the two facial piercings and black nail polish didn't help) and looked irritated when I asked for a bag since I was getting the two cups to go. We love menchies! My sons favorite place to get "ice cream" so he can add all his toppings. I think he wants more toppings than froyo.

I noticed they opened this Menchie's in my neighborhood, so on a hot day like today, what sounds better than some delicious refreshing frozen yogurt! I filled me a cup of vanilla snow and peanut butter, and topped it with slice almonds. After paying four dollars I dug in. Both flavors were creamy and had great flavor. I was a big fan of the vanilla, but the peanut butter was no doubt my favorite. Spoonfuls of ice cold peanut butter did it for me. The young ladies who work here are very friendly and chipper. I noticed they were very helpful with customers in explaining the process and flavors. Well done ladies and Menchies for delivering such great flavors. I will be back! read more

Just left Menchie's. I got myself a waffle cone that says fresh. The male worker can't even look at you in the eyes and is so anti-social. Anyway, after eating my frozen yogurt I couldn't wait to eat my waffle. Tried to break it off and it was so stale. I tasted it and almost spit it out. It tasted like card board. "I said yuck this taste like card board", the boy at the counter just shrugged his shoulders. My family and I visit here often and love mixing up the flavors with the vanilla and peanut butter yummy yummy this is probably a kids dream walking in, mixing up all the Incredible Edible candy from gummy bears to KitKat bars as it is a self-serve you can put as much as you'd like. The cake batter is my absolute favorite it is very sweet just the way I like my low-fat ice cream. I usually go in add a little Heath Bar and KitKat to the bottom of the cup, then comes the ice cream in layers so I get a mouthful of delicious ingredients each time. If you go here often you will find a method to your Madness and how you like your own ice cream. If you would like to something Menchie's they offer free taste cups that you simply can use your self and find the perfect combination to your taste buds. $5 fill your cup Fridays? That's MAD! Absolutely unheard of. Who can actually fill up $5 worth of froyo and eat it all? Oh wait... Me. This was made for me and my ridiculous, over the top, overflowing with froyo and toppings cup. This would be considered a steal for me. They allow you to fill up with any flavors of froyo and then proceed to select over 50 toppings that include dry nuts, candies, fruit, and even sauces. Yum galore! I usually stay true to YogurtLand, but this was more convenient and when the whole family wants a cup, it's nice to find a place where you can save a buck or two. Just be aware that it is madness on this night. People had already formed a line before 9pm. Luckily I got there early so I rushed in and executed my professional frozen yogurt skills. I even started a trend apparently. Long story short, this place is great for good froyo and toppings. Was on my way to grab some Mexican food at the Cotija's which just opened up in the same shopping center and couldn't resist some sugary yogurt to bring home for afterwards. What I like about Menchie's is that they have a nice variety of flavors instead of just a bunch of 'fruity' ones. While I enjoy some fruit flavors, I really dislike the super tart ones. Peanut butter is usually what I go for and Menchie shops always seem to have it. This location wasn't too busy when coming in but everything was super clean, fully stocked and plenty of sample cups! Only bummer I noticed was the lack of Reese peanut butter cup toppings, how could you have peanut butter yogurt without Reese toppings? read more

Let's clarify this first..this review is based on my last Saturday visit to the store. Any other time, there weren't any issue and I only complain about the service when it's extremely bad. Listened to this girl/employee's ton changed immediately when me and my kids walked up to the cash register...as matter of fact, she was watching us when we first walked in. (Racism is real here, sorry we are not white skinned and blonde ) anyways, she sounded like policy officer when we put our cups on the scale. Never even asked for my member number for the points, then told me my card didn't go thru..which it did...asked me for another card, sure, whatever, maybe something wrong with their machine, I thought and you guessed it, I got charged twice...I mean, for $33.46..I'm not even sure it's worth it to call and reverse the charge..but this is our local yogurt shop and my kids and I visits quite often before. I'm not sure how this is considered frozen yogurt. Other than it comes out of a frozen yogurt machine. It takes like frozen ice milk. I had the tart, peanut butter, vanilla and chocolate. The chocolate/vanilla mix dispensed super watery chocolate at first and tasted odd. The vanilla had zero flavor, and the peanut butter was meh. The tart was OK at best. Their toppings were good, but good toppings on bad frozen yogurt is still bad. Yogurtland is MUCH better. I recommend going there instead of Menchie's. read more

Strawberries super fresh; cheesecake bites tasted like cheesecake; brownies are a little oversized but good; caramel sauce tasted like caramel, very good. This Menchie's location is near my nail salon, so I stop in after my appointments like 98% of the time. I love my sweets and it's just too tempting being in the same little shopping center with them LOL. I really love froyo, and even more than that - I love all the toppings! As far as the quality of the frozen yogurt, it's good but not the best for sure. Quality wise, I think both Yogurtland and Pinkberry are much better for the chains and Yogurt on the Rocks in PB is the best overall in my opinion. What had me hooked for the longest time to choose Menchie's over the others was that they had chocolate covered pretzels as a topping selection. About a year ago ALL locations stopped carrying the chocolate covered pretzels which was the hugest disappointment to me. No one had an answer as to why they stopped, so the only think I can think of is that my business alone wasn't enough to encourage them to still serve them LOLOLOL. I think I was going once a week for a while when they had them, that how much it meant to me! The Yogurt flavors change frequently, they have a large selection of toppings and sauces. I always get a waffle bowl too and one time they were out and the young man working actually made me a fresh one right then and there! Every single time I have been in there, the staff have been great!! They say that the cones are no extra charge, but you are paying by weight - so you are paying for your cone LOL. I have never left Menchie's spending less than $5, even when I am trying to keep it small. One thing I love is that they have a rewards program and I have cashed in $5 credits a few times. I get emails with coupons sometimes too and it's great because the coupon is under your phone number so you don't have to print anything or remember to bring it with you. Rancho San Diego is way waaaay out of my way normally but there are locations all over. This location is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking and is near all kinds of shopping, a movie theatre & gas stations. read more
