My family and I all are fans of Menchies. It's nearby and there are $5 all you can fill in your cup nights where we all get excited to go splurge on the calories :) We've gone other nights because they are also generous with coupons. The spot is new and fresh and clean, so is the bathroom. Not a fan of cheaper yogurt mill where the line is ridiculous, the customers are ghetto, cash only and the place is a run down shack. You get what you pay for. read more

Menchie's - $5 each, but I've been here many times and gave a phone number that I built up a credit for a free $5 yogurt creation tonight ! - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - El Cajon, California

This rating is for service, albeit there wasn't anyway. Bland, rude attitude. We walked in and not even a greet, which fine whatever, that's common, but literally no interaction after that. Menchie's is supposed to be family friendly, and taking two little kids there, definitely wasn't comfortable. We sat for roughly 5mins and left. Who would think kids at a cash register would scare you away? read more

Very good but overpriced. Two small bowls were over $14. The toppings were very good. Strawberries super fresh; cheesecake bites tasted like cheesecake; brownies are a little oversized but good; caramel sauce tasted like caramel, very good. My bowl came with the waffle cone which I thought would be stale but was actually fresh and crunchy. Overall very good, will be back. read more

Menchie's - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - El Cajon, California

This Menchie's location is near my nail salon, so I stop in after my appointments like 98% of the time. I love my sweets and it's just too tempting being in the same little shopping center with them LOL. I really love froyo, and even more than that - I love all the toppings! As far as the quality of the frozen yogurt, it's good but not the best for sure. Quality wise, I think both Yogurtland and Pinkberry are much better for the chains and Yogurt on the Rocks in PB is the best overall in my opinion. What had me hooked for the longest time to choose Menchie's over the others was that they had chocolate covered pretzels as a topping selection. About a year ago ALL locations stopped carrying the chocolate covered pretzels which was the hugest disappointment to me. No one had an answer as to why they stopped, so the only think I can think of is that my business alone wasn't enough to encourage them to still serve them LOLOLOL. I think I was going once a week for a while when they had them, that how much it meant to me! The Yogurt flavors change frequently, they have a large selection of toppings and sauces. I always get a waffle bowl too and one time they were out and the young man working actually made me a fresh one right then and there! Every single time I have been in there, the staff have been great!! They say that the cones are no extra charge, but you are paying by weight - so you are paying for your cone LOL. I have never left Menchie's spending less than $5, even when I am trying to keep it small. One thing I love is that they have a rewards program and I have cashed in $5 credits a few times. I get emails with coupons sometimes too and it's great because the coupon is under your phone number so you don't have to print anything or remember to bring it with you. Rancho San Diego is way waaaay out of my way normally but there are locations all over. This location is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking and is near all kinds of shopping, a movie theatre & gas stations. read more

This place offers week day deals, like an after school special. I went in on a Sunday evening - no special offer but was very pleased with the flavor offerings. They had 2 sugar free flavors, 2 sorbets and many tasty frozen yogurt flavors. I had the sugar free devils food cake (chocolate) with almonds, strawberries and Hershey's hard shell chocolate. It was delicious. I gave 5 stars for two reasons: 1, Customer service was great. Cashier was very helpful and friendly. 2, the hours, they were open late on a Sunday evening (you know how it is when you have a craving for something sweet)! read more

I'm not sure how this is considered frozen yogurt. Other than it comes out of a frozen yogurt machine. It takes like frozen ice milk. I had the tart, peanut butter, vanilla and chocolate. The chocolate/vanilla mix dispensed super watery chocolate at first and tasted odd. The vanilla had zero flavor, and the peanut butter was meh. The tart was OK at best. Their toppings were good, but good toppings on bad frozen yogurt is still bad. Yogurtland is MUCH better. I recommend going there instead of Menchie's. read more

I love this location! It is always so clean and tidy! Their yogurt selection changes but they have a lot of the same flavors all the time. My favorite of all time is the Oreo flavor! I love the waffle bowls but they aren't always fresh, so I usually ask the employees to make me a fresh one and sometimes they do and are very nice about it and sometimes they get annoyed, which is weird, because I defiantly do not want to pay to eat a stale waffle cone! Maybe they should consider just making the cones to order so that every cone is fresh! read more

Menchie's - Inside - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - El Cajon, California

Very bad customer service the staff they are really rude I think there's people out there they need to work more than these little girls she was yawning Front of us they gave us a very bad attitude I do not recommend this place go somewhere else and spend your money read more

This was my first time coming here, I seen the special for kid's happy hour on the window and door when I was driving in the morning in the area. I was excited to pick my daughter from school and bring her here by 2pm after our library trip. I walked in, Katie politely welcomed my 2 kids and I and also informed us of the promotion. Explained the the 8oz was for the kids and they can fill it up and be a flat $3 each. I filled up our 8oz bowls and as I went to pay, Sam, then asked to weigh the cups and said there would be a charge of $13.03, I was surprised because I was under the impression it would be $3 each flat and of course perhaps tax. I told her that the other girl, Katie, told me they would be only $3 and I thought these were kid sizes (they were); Sam then said no all of the cups are the same size and so therefore will be charged accordingly. I said ok I'll pay the price but I won't be coming back here again. I sat my kids down to eat their treats. They're still eating as I type this review and since I sat down other customers came in and only paid $3 and not have to weigh the cups. Not one employee,Katie or Sam, has came up or acknowledge their error and offered a refund. So therefore I am extremely dissatisfied in their customer service and Menchie's can have the over charge as my donation in hopes they would offer customer service training. I was in this establishment for 40mins, not once was apologized to for their error as they charged all kid's bowls only $3 flat after my transaction and Sam said absolutely nothing to me. I drove almost 6 miles to just come here to have a nice treat with my kids and instead I spent my time to enjoy with kids posting this review. Next time I'll be supporting a family owned local business closer to home back 6 miles away from Menchie's. read more

I am so happy that Menchi's is near our home. This place is amazing on so many levels. The staff is always friendly (no matter how many questions you have), the owner goes above and beyond to support the community and the place is clean. Here is my favorite masterpiece: Froyo=cake batter Toppings=cookie dough, dark chocolate chips, graham cracker, marshmallow sauce and hot fudge. It's kinda like a S'more but better! read more

Yum! This place is a definite must try if you're looking for good Froyo in Rancho San Diego. They have tons of good flavors, I think many more than Yogurtland and the price is reasonable. Matter of fact the happy hour deal from 9-11 on Friday evenings is awesome, load up the cup and it's $5 flat. The customer service is great and the place is well kept and clean. read more

I came here a second time. The first time I just stole 2 spoons from the siblings. I went again and boy are flavors lacking or off. I don't know what it is, but it isn't anything like yogurtland or the yogurtmill in el cajon. secondly, the prices are a little higher than what I usually pay for yogurt. We got two cups that were some what filled, perhaps half and it cost 11 bucks! When I go to yogurtland we fill that sucker up and for 2 cups it has never exceeded 7-8 bucks. I guess it is better than yoyos? Anyways I probably won't be coming back, probably more due to the pricing than the quality of yogurt. Hmmm 33 cents per ounce vs 41? read more

This is the only location I go to for menchies. They always have a new variety of yogurt to try from and it's always clean! I also like how the toppings are always full and the fruits look fresh! I will be continuing to come here with my nieces and nephew read more

Compared to YL, Menchies is *SO* expensive. I went there yesterday and got a pretty small portion of just yogurt, no toppings and it still came out to $4. My boyfriend and I went again another time and we both got a regular-sized portion and minimal toppings and it came out to more than $15! Damn. They have a great deal Friday night where the cost per cup is $5, regardless of portion and weight which is pretty awesome, I continue to come here on occasion because I like that Menchies changes up their flavors so frequently and has a low-carb option (YL, take note!) but their prices really turn me off. I always feel slightly ripped off when I go there just because they are so much more than their competitors... read more

Its decent! It's not as good as other frozen yogurt places I've been to but its satisfying enough to come back. There's not that many appealing toppings and the flavors of the yogurts are extremely similar. It's fairly expensive as well compared to other shops. Again, I would come back if I was in the neighborhood. I wouldn't drive out of my way to go to menchies. read more

I am loyal to menchies!!!! hahah they got my favorite yogurt.... CHOCOLATE SORBET!!!! i can actually enjoy a good frozen yogurt with my friends and not worry about them not having any dairy free flavors. read more

This place has every topping you could imagine! The flavors varies day by day but all the choices are delicious! They have about 16 total to choose from daily! The nice thing is you make it yourself, you add your own toppings and then it's weighed after. The price isn't too pricey at all either! read more

They have good selections and topping are okay. They went from containers to back in racks. Not sure they had all of the condiments. Nice service and people. read more

Love popping in here from time to time for some delicious tart FroYo! I especially love the original and watermelon (seasonal). Recently they got an amazing banana flavor and I'm so sad to see it gone so quickly - it was one of my all-time favorites! This place has very delicious treats. I've had their waffle cones and frozen yogurts and both are awesome! They have a good selection of candies and fruits for toppings. Customer service so far is great and employees help you whenever you need it. You can't really go wrong with any of the flavors they have. My personal favorites are the fruit flavored ones. My only complaint is that they are on the expensive side and you can easily spend over $15 on two people for frozen yogurt depending on what and how you serve yourself. I have been here a few times, and so far, the experience is consistently good. read more

Menchies has the best yogurt of all time. They have great selection of yogurt, but the best is the banana fudge flavor. I live near this place, so every time i come it's clean and nice looking. Menchie's - Banana fudge with my favorite toppings. - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - El Cajon, California

Just wanting to give a shout out to the staff @Menchie's in Rancho San Diego and what a fabulous job they do despite the pressure that the owners give them by threatening them. As you walk in you're always greeted with a cheerful smile by the employees and a warm hello. The ownership need to learn from their staff what it means to be always tender and kind. If it wasn't for the warmth and tender hearted staff the business wouldn't be what it is today. There are lots of choices for frozen yogurt, I go because of the employees. So with that said the staff gets 4 stars and the ownership gets 1 star. read more

5 stars for quality and taste, the 2 stars is for the lack of information. We take my daughter here two times a week for ice cream after gynastics. Needless to say her birthday is coming up and I would LOVE to get her a cake from here for her class. I have called and gone in to ask questions about pricing ect and I am getting different answers. Maybe have more training around cakes and cost and availabilty so this doesn't happen to someone else. Service is always on point with friendly smiles this is my only gripe....and after reading other reviews I now realize that I have accumulated points! I don't even know how to use or redeem....and I have been there 26 times....ha! We go here so much because its so yummy, its not there fault some people do not care about there jobs. read more

The customer service is ok, but it seems like the employees feel like they're being watched. They clean the floors that are already spotless, and never stop moving. It's kind of uncomfortable to watch. Also, they have a point system and I told the cashier that I had points to use before she started my transaction. She still gave me the full total and when I reminded her of the points she said, "Oh yeah, you can use those." It was as if she was trying to get me to pay the full price. Shady. read more

Menchie's is disgusting and gross! the health inspector is clearly BLIND! Yesterday at approximately 5:20ish I saw your employee come out wipe down the top and body of a trash can and then proceeded to use the SAME towel to wipe off table tops and then the chairs! How disgusting! I wouldn't eat here if you paid me. I hope you people don't get sick! They have some nasty bacteria growing over there! Gross contamination much? I don't want those cultures! RUN! This place is delicious! The flavors of frozen yogurt to the many topping options to the marshmallow and brownie and chocolate hard shell OH MY! I don't usually go to get froyo, but my friend recommended so I thought why not on a hot Sunday. My very picky almost 5 year old was even happy with the choices! The cashier was very friendly also. We will definitely be back! Too bad the specials they have are so late at night :( Minus 1 star due to it being slightly pricy. read more

Just lost a regular customer over a teaspoon of yogurt. My four-year-old granddaughter wanted a sample as we were leaving after we had purchased and eaten yogurt. The cashier told her no samples after purchase, so what had been a happy occasion ended in tears. Previously another clerk had let her have a sample as we were leaving. We'll find another yogurt place with friendlier customer service. read more

Yogurt is really good hands down, very clean store and nice employees only reason they haven't earned 5 stars is because they're pretty expensive, what you pay for 1 cup here gets you 2 cups elsewhere (not with their promotions), still a go to place for every here and there (: read more
