Stopped by this morning and was very warmly greeted by several employees, I ordered a breakfast sandwich a shaken espresso and bought a couple of chocolate milks for my grand babies, I was pleasantly surprised to see how many options they have for kids. I forgot to tell them I wanted my sandwich warmed opened face since I love a crispier bacon and without hesitation they offered to make me another one. This continues to be my favorite Starbucks because the baristas are always so nice and they have a great system down that gets the cars moving pretty fast in the morning. They always start off asking if you want food, allowing for them to get the food heated right away so it's ready shortly after arrival to the window. The inside is pretty basic Starbucks, but overall this is a great spot. read more

This is a Starbucks that I used to frequent much more often when I was in school and needed caffeine or a place to study. It can be a nice change of scenery from the college campus and drinks are better than at school. I like how they come up with new drinks. My wife had their passion fruit tea and she liked it. I like the fraps and iced coffees, especially on the hot days. Pumpkin spice is nice in the fall/winter months. The service here is usually pretty good. Baristas are friendly and I have always left a tip. They have WiFi and seating isn't too bad. A fair amount of outlets for my laptop or phone to charge. Tables are usually clean and they have two gender neutral restrooms, although on my most recent visit one was closed for repairs. No problems with parking. This shopping center has plenty of parking. The staff are always polite and friendly despite the quality of drinks and food being variable. However I had an incident where my hummus box had mold. I often go to this Starbucks and they're usually really kind and make the order right but today they got my boyfriend's drink wrong when we went through the drive thru which we had no problem with. He went inside to ask for the right drink and the girl with the blue hair re-made the SAME drink he said he did not want lol! Iced Lavender Oatmilk Matcha not Latte... and she said this is what you asked for though and he had to clarify again and showed her the cup he had already thrown in the trash to show her see you made the same drink again. Short guy with black hair said with an attitude that he didn't need to get the drink from the trash to show her when my bf was just trying clarify that no that was not the drink he wanted & he felt like they were acting annoyed the rest of the time while fixing the drink. The drizzle and crunchy caramel combined together was bomb. Satisfying to sip on and provided a sugar rush to continue on my shift. Location: This Starbucks is close to Grossmont, Junior Seau sports complex, and in a (usually pretty filled) plaza, 4 parking spaces right up front, but additional ones near jack in the box. Location itself is clean has ample outlets (along the outer wall), and nobody weird! Great spot for students/ working professionals doing work. Staff: Friendly and quick service, and never had a problem with my drink order! They recently launched the in-store drink ware program, where your drinks come in drink glasses instead of the typical to-go cups if you're staying longer. I hadn't been back to this location in a while since the last couple of times they got my order wrong, and it's not like I modified the order. So why is it so hard to get a drink done right? Last time I went back and had them remake it, but they were rude. They hire these young entitled kids, who get mad for having them remake a drink that YOU paid for. I like this fairly new Starbucks on the account the employees were very nice and did a great job making my Teavana Light Matcha Latte. The light Matcha latte was quite refreshing and very flavorful. It was a little heavy on the ice, but the it certainly kept the beverage cold. The matcha flavor was just right too. You could taste the quality flavor but without the bitterness and it was not overly sweet. It was just right for these taste buds. I stayed for a hour or so working on reports and I had not issues with Wi-Fi service. Seating was comfy. I had an extremely disappointing experience at this establishment. A worker was incredibly rude and made the entire encounter uncomfortable for me and my friend. From the moment we pulled up to the window we were met with a dismissive attitude and a lack of basic courtesy. The worker seemed annoyed by our presence and made us feel unwelcome. Disappointed! Went through the drive-thru and ordered a decaf iced white mocha. When I started to drive off I looked at my drink and realized it was a regular mocha. I parked in curbside and called to see if they could give me the correct drink. The lady on the phone was very rude. She said I would have to come to into the lobby. I explained I'm 8 months pregnant with a 3 year old. I asked if they could bring it out to curbside. She told me she couldn't do that. This Starbucks has the absolute worst location! People block the oncoming traffic because of the drive-thru and will NOT move to allow traffic from Dallas and Lake Murray to move through. The design of this place is seriously flawed and creates traffic problems. It is absolutely ridiculous. People care more about their coffee than allowing the through traffic to move on. Really messes it up for people trying to get into the parking lot to go to other businesses or the urgent care. Starbucks says it's not their fault and can't do anything about it. Once I found a spot I went in to grab my mobile order there is a large sign say by go to the register. At the register I was told my drinks were coming. Waited ten minutes as the store became progressively more crowded with people waiting on orders. Stood in line and asked again for the mobile order. "I'll make now" (which really defeats the point of mobile order). "Here's your drinks". Hmm, these are not my drinks. Avoid this Starbucks at all costs. I work in the service industry and am never one to complain at restaurants - even if my food is wrong or I've had poor service. I totally understand things happen. However, my experience at this Starbucks was one of the worst experiences I have ever had in an establishment before - on top I am a daily Starbucks supporter so this is incredibly disappointing. I mobile ordered a fruit and cheese box this morning, and as I got to my car to open it and proceed to eat it, I noticed it was covered in mold. I went through the drive through to simply switch it out for another one and the barista mentioned they were sold out, not apology for the inconvenience. I asked if there was anything else I could switch it out for as I was already there and hungry - I was treated like this was a total inconvenience. As I pulled around to the window to pick up my bakery item, I was met with an annoyed barista who inspected the fruit and said she "doesn't see any mold." I showed her this absolutely and her response was "That's definitely not mold! If it was mold, it would be darker." No apology or sorry for the inconvenience, this barista (her name was Rosemary) just acted annoyed that I would bother her with such an issue and tried to argue with me. Super bummed and disappointed about my experience here - will definitely not be returning to this location and am hesitant to even support any Starbucks locations in the future.
