I am not a coffee drinker myself, but my family is. So when I saw there was a Dutch Bros near our church, I offered to stop so that everyone could give it a try. We have heard so much hype about this place and wanted to see what it was all about. 730AM Sunday morning, there was no line. We went through the drive through and saw there was no wait, we decided to just stop and go inside to check it out. The outside drive-thru looks very similar to the inside. Or maybe it's the other way around. There was no counter, but instead a little window that you walk up to an order. Very different. The menu looked to be simple, but it's not. In reality, it is a little confusing. There are so many add-ons that you can select from. My family all got coffee drinks...they all LOVED their drinks. I settled for a basic Strawberry Smoothie that was good. Not sure that it lives up to all the hype, but it was clean, the staff were friendly and the drinks were tasty. We will definitely try it again and maybe next time I will be more adventurous with my drink choice. read more

I was in this area running an errand. I do not live near a Dutch Bros so I decided to swing on by. I have had it one time before when my sis and niece brought me a coffee. I will admit I was a bit frustrated trying to use the app, it wouldn't accept any credit card info and I had to start over a few times. My plan was to order ahead of time and pick it up. I ended up having to go there to order. I parked and went inside. The girl Crystal was absolutely amazing, a complete and utter gem. She was so outgoing, nice, patient and full of energy. She just had such great vibes, even while I waited, another customer noticed it as well. The drinks I got: 1. Caramelizer Zero Sugar Added -Espresso, Sugar-Free Caramel & Sugar Free Chocolate Breve (less ice) This drink was ok, I tasted less coffee flavor. Instead of it being watered down, it might have been 'milked' down. I think too much half and half. I will keep note of this for next time. I think the flavor was good, but honestly too diluted. 3/5 2. 911 -6-Shots Espresso & Irish Cream Breve (made it sugar free and half and half, less ice) My sister said they did like this, but the coffee flavor was not strong enough. 4/5 3. Iced mocha latte with oak milk, add almond. My niece got this and they did not really care for it. They noted they didn't really taste the almond flavor and it was not sweet enough. They said it tasted watered down. I guess they could try again next time and tweak their order. 3/5 I really hope to find a sugar free carbonated drink that is really good here, as well as a favorite coffee drink. I didn't know the released hot foods! I usually get a muffin too but decided to try their baked goods. They were great! I got my usually which is a strawberry lemonade with coconut milk and it's the best! The baristas are always in such a great attitude. It really makes the experience the best. So glad they opened up a Dutch Bros here! The workers are always so kind and accommodating. I asked the barista to write "good luck on your exam" on my boyfriend's cup, and they happily did it -- such a small gesture but it meant a lot and was really sweet of them. They always make our drinks quickly, and they taste delicious every time. You definitely get a big cup for the price, which makes it even better. This location was a bit far for us, so I'm hoping they eventually open one closer to Mission Valley or the Convoy area. Will definitely keep coming back! read more

Personally love Dutch Bros and the candy cane sprinks- seasonal holiday drinks. First time at this store and was surprised they had indoor seating in addition to typical drive through. Service was friendly but a bit slow. They always give pup cups if you ask so we got one for our dog. Drinks were good and got all iced drinks to go. I wish they offered the stickers to go on the drinks so they didn't spill in transit but fair prices for the drinks and store was clean. First time headed to a Dutch bros that I didn't have to wait in line for too long. Yay! Anyway, I ordered a bubbly drink with mango boba! Yes you heard it right.... OMG it was quite a nice surprise! I had a pretty iced oat milk latte from this newly opened Dutch Bros Coffee. I was pleased that they put a very good amount of oat milk in the coffee. The coffee was pretty smooth and had a good flavor. They did put a little more ice in the coffee than I would have liked, which reminds me to ask for easy ice for next time. The young lady at the window was super nice and had an upbeat personality. They offer covered out side seating at this location which is nice. A drive thru is available. read more

At first, the line of cars made me think "yikes, this might take forever!"--but then along came Sarah with the sweetest smile. She reassured me I'd have my vanilla coffee in hand within 15 minutes, and she was right! Not only was the coffee delicious, but the friendly service made the wait feel like part of the experience. Always love going to this Dutch Bros. Drinks are incredible and so customizable (I always get mine half sweet- most people find Dutch too sweet)! Staff is almost all young people which is awesome! Even when there's long lines, they're efficient and most of the time they're still so friendly and happy. My mood lifts when I go here here and it's not just the fact I'm getting a fun drink- it's the whole vibe of this place. Now I did get one drink a month back and there were two gnats in it - the young man at the window immediately got his manager, they started investigating the source, he covered me my whole order and gave me two free drinks- never had an issue again with bugs. read more

The drinks are always delicious ever since they moved into El Cajon we only go here. We live in Rancho and the service has always been fast and kind. It also has a more laid back look so when I bring my two daughters here there's always music playing and other families walking in. I usually get my Dutch coffees from 2nd street in El Cajon. I decided to go to Dutch bro's on Jamacha. There were 4 cars in total, I was the last one. There wasn't a single person in sight, until about 5 min later. The girl who finally came out and took my order seem uninterested with her job. She charged me twice and had to leave to get it fixed. Still waiting. She finally confirmed that it was refunded. It took about another 10 minutes to get my drink. The girl who proceeded to give me my order, called out a mocha, and I told her that wasn't me. Because my order was partially refunded it set it back. So she was making my order, asked me if I wanted milk in it? Which was odd cause I order this same drink all the time. I repeated my order to her and she had a nasty look on her face and when she finally gave me my drink I asked her if it had pumpkin in it. She said yes. After I received my drink it was watery ( was supposed to be blended) and had no pumpkin syrup in it and I could tell it didn't have the extra shot of espresso as I requested. That was the worst experience I have ever had at a Dutch bro's. I won't be returning there again. read more

They should call it the teenybopper blended coffee hangout. This setup is horrible in my opinion. I decided to walk inside. There is one menu and it's located at the entrance to the 20 foot line that leads to a single register. So what happens? People stop to look at the menu forever before proceeding to the one register. I wanted a single cup of regular coffee. This couple sat there for minutes before I asked them if they were ready to order. Hurdle 1 accomplished. I get to the register, which looks like an outdoor drive thru window. I then wait for 3 minutes for the "broista" to help a woman who said the ap made her leave a tip. I finally get to place my order for a regular cup of coffee. They don't have cream and sugar for you to add yourself. That's an immediate pi** off. I'm done wiht this place. He offered me 4 types of sugar. I said just pick one, I have to get back to seeing my patients. I'm then offered a device to give optional tip. I hit none. Then he give me another chip reader to pay for it. 5 minutes later I ask where my coffee is. This place sucks if you are an adult who wants a regular coffee quickly. I'm no teenager so maybe ask one if you want their opinion. read more
