Mondays and Fridays they do a special for them whether a dollar off or buy one, get one half off. The chicken wraps were also good, I'm not a huge fan of a lot of sauce and im 90% sure that they use frozen chicken, so those were the only downsides, but preferences Service was super quick. The tuna was just tuna. It was really bland, even with the jalapeños it was nothing exciting. The service wasn't great either. I asked about the free Agua Fresca with purchase of a sandwich and she pretty much yelled at me and told me that I got a wrap not a sandwich so it doesn't qualify. I like the origin story of this shop, a husband inspired by his wife's health eating habits and wanting to provide a dining option for the community. I came in, very dehydrated from a long hike. I ordered a large juice and a kid size açaí. The açaí bowl was delicious. I should have ordered a large açaí, it was a standout. The granola puts it over the top. The menu is extensive and there are so many unique items that I've not see before. The space is very comfortable. I would come back again if I'm in the area to try more of the menu. I just ordered from here for the first time and I ordered a Chipotle Chicken wrap with Jalapenos on the side and their Chipotle Dressing and a Turkey With Pepper Jack Cheese And Added Bacon And Cilantro Dressing with a lemonade and an elote. Quick service, even at 12p. I had jury duty & wanted to walk somewhere & this place was close by & had been somewhere I wanted to try. Great sandwich that they let me customize. Bacon was crisp & perfectly chewy at the same time The smoothie was great & very filling & perfectly cold for the hot day. For how many people came by for a quick lunch (clearly staff from the courthouse & family health centers) the service was quick and on top of the crowd. Easily missed when driving by, Sweet and Green is like an oasis on the inside. It reminds me of Dr Who where the Tardis (phone booth) looks small on the outside but is huge inside. And, there are lots of positive vibes. The woman who took our order was very sweet and young. Think she may have still been in training. We arrived around 7:30pm on a Saturday night and were happy to see lots of options. Even better, when our sandwiches arrived they were chock full of real and fresh ingredients as you can see by the pictures. I had a chicken wrap and was so happy that real chicken that wasn't processed was used. The wrap wasn't dry! Often I have to tear off some of the wrap as there's too much of it but ,not in this case. The sauces for the dressings are on the side which I enjoyed as it wasn't overdone or lacking. We'll have to go back one day to try the healthy cleansing juices! I'd been seeing this place on yelp for awhile and finally went in today to try it. They've got quite a few options on the menu. I went with the summer "smoothie" and a chipotle chicken wrap. The wrap was really good and I definitely enjoyed that, but the smoothie was not. I don't even think it was a smoothie, it was honestly giving milkshake. I believe they used milk instead of a juice or coconut water and it just wasn't enjoyable. It lacked flavor and the consistency was runny. Bummer because the main reason I went was for a good smoothie after a workout. Customer service was great though and I like how there was an area with various Mexican candies. However, El Cajon definitely counts with Sweet & Green as one of their hidden gems. Not only is the service very friendly and accommodating, they are patient when a potentially clueless client such as me walks in. They offer a variety of custom food and drink options, all reasonably priced. They also offer Mexican snacks and candy--Mexican in brands, not themes (very important). I got the Meat Lover's sandwich, which was nicely toasted and had a large amount of meats that were neatly placed so every bite was consistent. Their corn in a cup was jam packed with corn--which most places unfortunately displace a lot of delicious corn and spices with water to increase profits. Their "Escamocha" was a delicious fruit salad with my choice of ice cream, which was the perfect ending. With three booth tables and a high top table, the overall mood is casual, friendly and relaxing. They always have music that is both catchy and great additions to your playlist. This place has become my "go-to" place for delicious, healthy snacks, a relaxing ambiance, or everything in between. Keep rocking! read more

Woah. I cannot believe I've been working around the block for a year and am just finding out about this place now. The salad bar is a basic, build-your-own with two sizes (good sized "small" for $6 and huge "large" for $8.50) and pretty much everything you could think of. The only downside to the salad bar is they only have chicken or tuna salad as protein add-ons... grilled tofu/chicken, etc would have been the only thing I'd add. But, they did have a few kinds of beans/corn/seeds, so even a vegan would have been able to make a satisfying dish. After my salad I also decided to get a smoothie to go and BOY AM I GLAD I DID. They use almond milk and fruit only, so it's super healthy, and it came out perfectly creamy and delicious. I had The Hulk, but I will absolutely be back to try the rest of the smoothies on the menu.
