Came in looking for raspados this was more like an ice blended situation the strawberry one was delicious. The coconut had a can flavor owners were super sweet huge portions I need to try something other than raspados. Don't recommend the coconut one at all they use real strawberries just wish it was more of an authentic raspados flavor. Would def come again to try other things. read more

The best Healthy Juices! I had been a client of this amazing place for more than 3 years, they keep me healthy. This lovely family puts their heart in all they do. I am extremely picky on where I get my tostilocos and chamangos from. Decided to give this place a try, and boy they do not disappoint! Constance was my tender for the day. She was sweet and kind and gave me all of her favorite recommendations which I appreciate. The food here is fresh and the tostilocos had just the right amount of everything in it! This place is located right next to a quiet liquor store, on the corner of the block. Easy enough to get to :) I will definitely be a returning customer and will bring my family here as well! I've caught them up charging me twice. They add a "credit card fee" to all purchases, cash, debit, or credit, before you even present payment. I also ordered a small drink, they made me a small drink, but charged me for a large. That particular incident has happened twice, and I caught it only because I checked my receipt before I left. I understand the economy is hard for small business, but there's no excuse for stealing from your customers. Keep your receipts if you go here. read more

Came across this place in a late night search for a fruteria and I am so glad I picked this place to try out. I ordered a Ham Torta and an Cucumber-Lime Agua Fresca. Ya'll they were SO GOOD. The Torta was well made and the bolillo they use was so soft and warm and crunchy all in one. Definitely going back for another. The Agua Fresca was perfectly balanced. Not too sweet and refreshing af. It seems to be small family business. Service was friendly. Took a bit of time to get our food but the wait was worth it. Everything on their menu sounds delicious. One of very few authentic fruterias in La Mesa (maybe the only one?). Usually go here for my tostiloco fix and will get a chamango or smoothie with it. It's always really good and pricing is definitely fair. Only negative experience I've had is I feel like their hours can be inconsistent. It says 10am-7pm everywhere online but randomly they will be closed or they will open later or they closed early. Not a big deal normally but this has happened frequently the last few times I've attempted to go there and its made me stop driving to this place because I don't want to waste my time. read more

A craving for tostilocos and elote hit the spot here. They do not miss a beat with the tostilocos, with all the toppings! The only thing I wished for was more chips, but I usually order more on the side. The elote was very good. Not bland at all. Probably one of the best here in San Diego. If you're getting tostilocos to go, I recommend you ask for the chips on the side so it doesn't get soggy during transportation. The place is next to a liquor store and looks a little sketchy on the outside. The food was really good. Tuna Sandwich was nicely prepared with generous portions. Fruit Salad was ok. It might be that most fruits are not really in season. Customer service was ok. Despite it all. I would go back. Love this place! Conveniently down the street from me so I love calling in and picking up orders. I had the Turkey torta: decent size and very tasty. House sauce is maybe a chipotle type sauce but it is good. Citrus Breeze smoothie is very good. One thing I missed is the larger size for the smoothies but still same great taste. They mainly operate with a kiosk ordering system, though I am sure you can order with an employee at the register if needed. The menu is displayed on a TV near the kiosk which makes it easy to find a drink. There are a few specials laid out on the register counter that make that area look a little cluttered. Maybe a bulletin board for those specials would make the space feel less busy, but it did not take away from my experience. After ordering we sat at one of the tables. There is a mix of high top seating and regular tables. I stayed here for about two hours to catch up on getting work done and there was still plenty of seating available. This was on a Tuesday from about 1 to 3 PM. I ordered the Green Tea with Cheese Foam, Golden Boba, 75 percent sweet, and less ice. My husband ordered the Aloe Vera Peach Juice with 75 percent sweet and half ice. We both ordered large drinks. There was no signage about WiFi and I did not see other reviews mentioning it either, so we asked. Luckily the staff gave us the WiFi password which makes this a nice option for studying or getting work done. Our drinks came out pretty quickly. My green tea drink was a little bitter which usually means the tea may have been steeped a bit too long. With the lower sugar level it made the drink taste closer to a 25 percent sweetness level. The boba was chewy like usual but lacked sweetness and flavor, which is pretty typical for Ding Tea. The cheese foam tasted really good but the texture was strange. I occasionally got little chunky bits through the straw that felt like curdled cheese. It was definitely an interesting texture moment. Luckily I am not super sensitive to textures or it might have ruined the drink. Overall my drink was about a 6 out of 10. The Aloe Vera Peach Juice was surprisingly really good. This review is based on a delivery order through a third party service. I ordered an x-large mango agua fresca, an order of their aguachile verde, and a bag of salsa verde Tostitos. Unlike other reviews I've seen, I got everything I ordered. Everything was packaged with so much care too. Multiple bags to make sure nothing spills, utensils, straws, napkins, everything included. It really doesn't get better than this when it comes to delivery. The customization on the aguachile let me go a little wild so I added mango and extra camarones. I thought the mango would come in the same container but it was packaged separately in a bag. The quantity actually surprised me. I was expecting maybe a few pieces but it looked like almost a whole mango. The portion of aguachile itself felt a little small for the price, especially after paying extra for shrimp, but still okay. It came with onions and cucumbers but barely any avocado, maybe like three pieces. The flavor of the aguachile was not what I expected though. It wasn't very limey or spicy, it leaned really mild and didn't hit that craving. Most of the shrimp tasted fresh but a few had that fishy taste which kind of threw me off and ruined the experience a bit. The mango though, super fresh and really sweet. Now the mango agua fresca was incredibly sweet, like way too sweet. Even after letting the ice melt a bit it still tasted like straight sugar water and I had to add more water myself just to make it drinkable. I did like that it had real mango pieces and tasted fresh, but I want something light and refreshing, not something that feels like three cups of sugar. Overall, I really appreciated how well everything was packaged and delivered because that honestly makes a huge difference. I'd maybe give it another shot in person, but based on this delivery experience it was a little inconsistent
