Look for their products at San Diego Vegan Market and fine restaurants like Donna Jean. Now they are branching out to catering and selling prepared food at pop-up events. Finally got to try this at the Vegan Oktoberfest at First Friday Night Market at Grossmont Center, my wife and I wanted to this it out when they had their weekly pop up at Sepentine Cider but that ended before we had a chance to get down there. Food was very tasty, they do a great job of creating a vegan alternative to Chinese food that looks legit and has the very similar flavors and textures, less the meat! We tried the Gua Bao Buns first, PERFECT! Not sure how they do it, but these look like almost like real pork belly, and flavors and textures were great! Definitely took the spotlight because this is a dish you wouldn't normally expect to look and taste this good. We also had the Sweet & Sour Pork, super tasty also, but it's a type of food that is more expected at a stand like this. So glad we finally got to try it, definitely worth it and will keep an eye out for their next pop up.

In addition to the produce, baked goods, and honey vendors, there's also an organic granola vendor, beef jerky, and hot food vendors as well like an empanada and BBQ vendor. All the vendors were super friendly and informative regarding their products. There's a gravel parking lot of the east side of the farmer's market. Street parking is also available. Backroads Certified Farmers Market is in the Renegade Country Bar's parking lot on Saturdays starting at 9 am.

First of all, the sandwich either needed more falafels or larger ones. I was hoping for round fat and plump falales with a good semi dense texture. Another words, when you bite into the sandwich, one would know they were eating falafels. These were okay. There flavor was mild and texture crispy on the outside, but they needed more of that chick pea meatiness inside. The sandwich came with a tasty "Amba" sauce, but it was a little to heavily laden on the bread which took away from the falafels. Service was friendly. As seniors it is a huge help to receive a $50 card to buy produce ONLY at certified Farmers' Markets and arrive the day before Thanksgiving and be told they don't accept the card or they aren't signed up to receive it. Card expires Nov 30 so we will lose our $50. Couldn't even buy eggs. Farmers complain people are unsupportive yet how can we support them if they are greedy and cheat the Government programs? I will make sure to never set foot in a farmers' market again. I will full heartedly support overseas farmers from now on. Let's see who buys your overpriced produce. If they don't comply with the program they should NOT be allowed to sell there. Shame on you all. I find this to be un American. So much for making America great again and buying local and home grown! Also there are only 3 stands of produce and the rest are retail trinkets, NOT a real Farmers' Market.

The scrambled eggs were fluffy and lightly seasoned, the pepper jack well melted, and the bacon crispy and chewy. I especially liked the good toasting the multi-grain bread had. It gave the whole breakfast a great crunch. Well done. The hospitality was welcoming and friendly. There's plenty of seating on the account that they are located at the food court.
