All the vendors were very nice happy to provide Vegan treats. Being held at a parking lot at Grossmont Mall, parking is plentiful and access is easy.

Whelp, I have a solution for that...plan your OWN Vegan Festival and it can be wherever you want it to be! Until then, this is the best thing to happen to the San Diego Vegan scene since...ever! and (2) the lines are too looooong. I get there when it opens and there are zero lines. So, there you have it: problems solved. Either drive to where it is or plan your own and if you don't, get there when it starts. I am gracious and thankful that people are VOLUNTEERING their time to put on this awesome vegan festival and coordinating with the mall and vendors. It's held the first Friday of each month. I liked the tortilla chips they used and they gave the right amount of cheese and jalapeños. I think nachos is their specialty but they do serve tacos as stated on their truck. It had just the right amount of heat from the nacho cheese sauce and a few jalapeno peppers. It was made with thick Texas toast and the cheesy/birrias filling was so satisfying. We also ordered a cup of Esquite ($7) to share and it was also delicious. Sitting outside, watching the sunset and beautiful view and eating this wonderful food was a perfect experience.
